Quinn could only identify with two voices, meaning there were only two people. His mind rushed with worry, afraid if the others would arrive by the time Bree would return. Of course, Quinn couldn't go 1 on 2. He hid himself away from where he was. Little time had passed until he heard foot steps sounding from the door. He panicked, and grabbed the knife. Someone tripped. He dodged from the body's silhouette on the floor, but it wasn't quick enough when he felt someone hit him on the arm, "Bree?!" he pipped in surprise.
"Quinn, please tell me I didn't touch you, please. Please." She was hyperventilating. She didn't think she could live with herself if she caused his death too. "Please.. Please let it be a bad dream. Please tell me I didn't hit his arm." Her eyes landed on the red mark on his arm, and that was all it took for her to start bawling, mumbling curse words through her sobs.
Quinn rashly took a glance on his arm, now fearful of the expected fate he will be falling under. The agonizing pain should be taking place at any second, but to his surprise, the pain only stung. It still hurt, but it only stung. Quinn quickly scooted away from the girl, wincing. "Great.."
"I'm so , so sorry! I.. I didn't want this to happen!" She bawled out, her body trembling. Another person would die in front of her, but.. Why exactly wasn't he shouting in agony, and writhing in pain by now? The disease only took minutes, and the pain was supposed to start 30 seconds after contact.. It confused her, but the fact remained. She still touched him, he was infected now.
His face didn't twist up in pain, nor did he show any sign of further progression coming from the rash. He only sat, and looked at her in panic. A part of his mind was onto something now, but unfortunately, at this rate it was probably already too late. "I.. I'm sure you didn't mean it," even though it wasn't okay. He hovered his hand over the mark carefully. Afterwards, the door abruptly came with a threatening bang from the front, "shit."
She jumped, reaching into her backpack to pull out a few knives. "What was that..?" She whispered, looking over at Quinn. She knew she'd have to defend the place herself at this rate. She carefully moved her stash under the register, peeking over the desk to see who could possibly be there.
(( Is there anyone in specific that's going to be there ))

"People," he whispered back, "they're here to bring trouble. They probably knew we were inside before you came tripping in." Quinn caught sight of the knives. He ought to know what was she going to do with them. Kill, was what he predicted. He looked at her with worry. There was no time. Quinn was still too weak, he can't defend himself at this kind of shape. "Bree." Was she planning to fight alone? An idea crept in. Oh no.
"What is it, Quinn?" She glanced over at him, a different look in her eyes, and a smile slipping onto her face. "Can't you just sit your pretty little ass down and let me take care of them, or do you wanna help too? ehehe~ Either waaay, They invaded my territory, and they need to be dealt with, don't you agreeeeeeee???~"
Puzzled by the reaction, he nodded. Somehow, the transition of her voice--no, the way she acted--somehow scared him. Quinn didn't want to question further. There was no time, so the boy hid himself away afterwards. He was still doubtful about the decision. It wasn't bold.
If the case goes out of hand, he thought and then decided, he would go and jump in when the time is needed.

Two boys came budging in.
Leo carried a sword with him, visibly having a carefree smirk on his face. "Huh. A girl! All alone in this market?" He swung his sword at her, "Are you lost? What're you doing in here, little girl?"

"Little girl?" She laughed, clutching at her stomach, before holding her knives inbetween her fingers. "I'll have you know I'm the sixteen year old daughter of the Fugisaki family, you should be bowing down to me, peasants!" She screamed at the two boys that entered. "But I guess I can forgive you for that, what I can't forgive you for, however, is intruding on MY territory! Get the hell out, and maybe I won't slice through that pretty little skin of yours!"
"Your language is pretty scary, but I'm afraid we can't do that, miss~!" Leo eyed at his partner, "Beau, what're we going to do with this girl? Think we should just take her on?"
"Kill her by any means necessary. She put this on herself when she announced her name." He was staring down the girl, hatred glinting in his eyes. "The Fugisaki family needs to perish, all of them! I'd bet you it's that family that started this whole damn thing!" He shouted, pulling his sword out of it's sheath.
"Oooh, got it right in one~! Too bad though, this means you both have to die, huh? What a shame, I would've enjoyed playing around with your bodies until you bled out, but I guess a quick death will have to do." She glanced down at her hands, before slicing her skin open, trying to get blood on all of the knives. "Mhm, this'll do nicely~"
(( bree pls go back to normal ur scaring me ))

Leo's shoulders tensed when he caught sight of the blood lashed carelessly onto the knives. His stance still remained, and then whispered, "Hey, be careful. Judging from what's she's doing right now, it wouldn't be a good idea if we get too close to her." Leo focused on the girl again. So, this is Brilliana? Doubt suddenly emerged from his chest. He then hesitated before he said anything.
"....I'm changing my mind." Leo finally spoke. "I think it's a bit too risky. She's the child of the Fugisaki, Beau. With that name, she's considered dangerous... I don't think 'killing her by any means necessary' is worth putting our lives on the line, don't you think?" He nervously eyed at the boy beside him.

"Leo, I vowed to take down this damn family, no matter what. I WILL kill this girl." He vowed, staring his friend down. "The Fugisaki family has already lost one daughter, all that's left is this one, and then the parents."
"What'cha guys talkin about?" While they were speaking, Bree had found her way around them, slinging her arms over both their shoulders, making sure they made skin contact. "Is it about meee? That's no fun to talk about someone behind their backs you know! Maybe you should just die for that!" She was laughing, moving away from the two once her task was done. "After all, skin-to-skin contact spreads the disease, and I think I just touched you two! Soooo, this should be IN-TER-EST-ING!~"
Quinn watched the scene quickly unravel itself into horror. He wasn't sure if it was the Bree he knew anymore. Their plan was to intentionally get rid of them, but... what is this? "Bree..."
Leo flinched away by the time her hand landed onto his shoulder. Damn! We were off guard! Just because of a stupid small tal- The pain started.
"RAAAAGGGHHHH!!" he screamed in agony, soon ending with a sharp, deathly rasp. The blood of his body started to eat at his skin, causing his body to immediately drop. He was now spazzing violently against the floor. He tried to scream--he wanted to scream out all of his pain, but his voice box was also taking effect, only coming out with a wheeze. At this level of pain, he could not think about what was going with his friend-- he could not think with this brain. While in agony, his mind was no longer in control. Leo's fate has been decided.
