I want to make an animation series. I have a great idea but not enough time. The script is barely started, I have no voice actors and I'm not totally sure how to work After Effects. I have no one else helping me and I have no idea how to edit. This project is all over the place and I could really use a big bit of help. My time is taken up by constant studying, chores and school. Its so hard to get started and to get motivated and script writing is just the worst.
I'd say Youtube would be a good place to start for FX and editing.
It sounds like you're having a bit of trouble with the scope of your project. Henry Ford used to say "Nothing is particularly hard if you break it into small jobs"
Maybe you should focus on your scripting and storyboarding first, before worrying about the production side. Voice actors can be added later too, as you can just record dummy-tracks yourself and have final versions closer to release.
Animation is very time consuming, even for professionals. It might be a good idea to try a one-off or intro video before committing to a full series.
