I already speak 4 languages fluently, and recently decided to continue learning French; a language I dropped in high school because I felt no connection to the language or the culture. The reason for it is that I 1) feel like I should be able to speak it and 2) it's an amazing feeling to learn something new!

I think Novalyyn posted about this course before but I can't find it. All these languages courses are free! And they're even working on creating a Klingon course, which I'm 100% absolutely taking when it's done cuz nerds.

https://www.duolingo.com/

The site has a ton of languages! I'm currently trying to complete the Dutch and German tests too, just to have them as 'completed' on my profile (I'm already fluent ;)). Feel free to friend me once you make an account!

What course will you take?
I've had a duolingo account forEVER and I've not really ever done anything with it. Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language where I live, so I've been meaning to learn forever but I never really resolved to get down to it.

Your post inspired me to finally learn. Thank you! I'm following you on the site now too. :P

I feel the same about Japanese and Korean! Perhaps one day they will add them. :)

It's really useful to me! Daily practice does wonders. :D
Aaah this is marvelous! Will check it out! :D
I could really use a pick-me-up when it comes to french. I might as well try out this website while I'm at it!
Great site and app. I've been learning "irish" (I do believe they mean Gaelic) and intend on using it to help me with french. I deal with french speaking customers almost daily and it definitely would be an asset.
Duolingo is great! I have been using it to keep brushed up on German, and I intend to start doing Gaelic soon. It's a wonderful companion to a class, but it stands splendidly on its own, as well.
I've recently went back to keep my french brushed up on since I don't live in an area that predominantly uses it. And I should probably get to work on Spanish considering I just moved to an area that is heavy with Spanish speakers. I'll friend you <3
