Relic heard the little one yell, but when the dwarf stood, Relic felt at ease a bit. "You two are the nicest bounty hunters evah!" He helped Kathryn, they young girl down from the tree and sat her on his shoulders. "Well it's a long way to the Sapphire City," he smiled and walked past Bathe.

"No way big boy, I still gotta take you in to the Stone Guard... You tell them your innocence." Putting his dagger away Adrik approached the Goliath and the girl, pushing past Bathe, "I'm sure the dwarves will see to it that your little elvish hostage gets to her city safely..."

"That is not what we're gonna do!!!" Relic pushed the girl slightly, letting her know that she should run. He drew his axe and charged at the Dwarf, "no bounty hunter can take me in!" And he swung downward!

"I suggest you don't attack him..." Bathe's tattoos began to glow and his magic of persuasion easily swayed the mind of Relic and the axe was held mere inches away from Adrik's face, "now I suggest you come with me and my partner here and return to Tall Stone to let the Stone a Guard decide your innocents..." And with that the Goliath put his great axe away and followed Bathe as the half elf began walking back towards the city, "easy as asking politely isn't it..."

The Goliath placed his great axe on his back and began walking calmly back toward the city, completely effected by the half elves spell.

"I don't know what kind of spells you got under your belt, but please don't use any on me..." The group began walking back to Tall Stone as night descended on the city, pillars of smoke rose from the Dwarven Mining City. "What the hell? What's going on here...??" In the distance pitch forks and torches began heading this way with city folk chanting burn the witch, burn the witch, burn the witch! "HEY! What's going on!?!?" But the group just kept walking towards them, daggers and swords out, pointing at the little girl! They were about a hundred feet away now as the group began to back up and Adrik took out his daggers. Twelve city folk marched towards them along with one very tall man in a long suit, top hat, with long stringy gray hair, KILL HER SHE IS THE WITCH!

Bathe snapped his fingers releasing Relic from his Suggestion spell as the group backed up. "These guys are gonna kill your little girl, be honest with us Goliath, where did you find the little one?" Bathe's tattoos began to flow bright blue as he raised his hand upward a large wall of stone ten feet high and twenty feet wide separated the group from the angry mob. Go around it! The tall figure yelled and the group split into two groups walking around the wall each way but this had bought a bit of time for Bathe and the others, "do we fight them? They look like regular villagers!"

Relic looked at the mob, then back at group, "girl needs to stay with magic man..." Putting the girl down he drew his great axe and planted his feet waiting for the first group of villagers to come around the corner! Allowing the group to get back a bit further the Goliath waited, "we no give the girl, her mommy and daddy told me she was special, she from Healm!" Healm was the capital of Loqwood, Tall Stone may be the biggest city but Healm was the capital. It had been abandoned or so thought after the great queen proclaimed that a witch cursed the city. Kathryn was the niece of the Queen and needed protection after the queen's half Orc assassins failed to kill her. But since Relic wasn't too bright he assumed the puny half Orcs were goblins and straight up killed them.

"You want girl, you come through me!!!" As the first pitch fork came around the stone wall and charged Relic swung his axe taking off the man's head. A human woman with a kitchen knife charged next and Relic back handed her breaking her nose following that up with crushing a dwarves head with his axe next all in a full out rage to protect the girl! Father Gaston the Goliath is too strong! the woman with the broken nose cried out.

As Father Gaston came around the stone wall Adrik had his crossbow ready, firing a bolt at the man's face! The old geezer raised his hand and mumbled something, the bolt deflected off the tall man's hand, IF THESE SINNERS WANT TO FALL PROTECTING THE WITCH WE WILL GIVE THEM THEIR WISH! As Adrik loaded another bolt into his Crossbow he fired a blot at a dwarf the was about to war hammer the Goliath from behind. The bolt sunk into the dwarves skull and Adrik spoke these words in Dwarven, "Return to the stone my brother..." Loading the crossbow Adrik didn't see the bolt of Necrotic energy coming straight for him! Blasted back five feet Adrik stood feeling out of breath and dizzy, aiming down sight he lit loose a third bolt impacting a Gnome with a torch, his limp body fell on a dry leaf bush and a fire started instantly! "It's about to get a bit hot up in here!"

Bathe focused his energy and before him swelled a giant ten foot by ten foot orb of water moving it towards the crowd he sucked in four of the charging villagers, a dwarves a human and two gnomes! The sphere moved over the flames mostly putting them out, "we can't alert any other to where we are, after we take care of these guys we gotta get the elf girl somewhere safe!" Bathe dropped to his knees focusing on the sphere so he could drown or at least subdue the folks inside! Closing his eyes his focus was completely consumed by maintaining the Watery Sphere! Relic killed two and knock one out, Adrik exicuted two and now four were struggling in the orb of water the last three charged the Goliath as Father Gaston walked straight pasted Bathe to the Girl....

"Dwarf!" Relic yelled, "Magic man and Relic fight! You save Kathryn!" Swinging low Relic took out one dark elves leg and half a gnomes body. Stomping the dark elves head on with one step he brought his axe down towards the last person, but this dwarf caught the blade with his pick axe swinging the metal pointed weapon around it slammed into Relic's side. Yelling out in pain his axe dove downward splitting the Dwarf in half from the top of his head straight down to the earthy soil bellow. "DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Relic screamed as the pick axe slipped out of his side and fell to the ground.

Adrik grabbed the girl and began backing up, as a dragon descended out of no where, his eyes widened. It began muttering something in draconic, and it's very presence shook the earth. Father Gaston looked at the beast and began to retreat pulling the female victim with the broken nose up from the ground. We retreat for now, but your doom is sealed here either way! The Father laughed and escaped into the night and the Dragon sneered, but not at Adrik and Kathryn... But at Bathe!

((She's not joining guys since she didn't ask. Just tie it in with the side plot you told me Royale.))

Bathe looked up in horror, it was an adult white dragon, no doubt a scout of the Amateratsu the Crimson Dragon! This was too much, releasing the watery sphere out of fear Bathe began to run! Trying not to look back he did hear the shouts of the four once trapped in the watery sphere begin to retreat with Father Gaston! "I can't do this!!! EVELYN!!!!" Vanishing northward he ran with the intent of looping back east towards the city of Tall Stone, but his fear took over all thoughts and all he could do was run!

Relic also didn't understand Draconic, all he knew was that there was a dragon right in between him and the little one, also that the half elf just ran off! "HERE I AM BEASTY!! RELIC WHO YA WANT!!!" Axe at the ready, villagers on the run Relic had only one target now! "DIIIIIEEEEE DRAGGGGOOOONNNN!!!" And the battle began, the axe swipes at the monsters face and cold icy breath sprayed outward a bit and the dragon became angry! It spat icy spikes at Relic slamming him against the trees near by and his axe fell. The wings unfurled and the dragoness looked ready for take off!

"DWARF!!! THE WINGS!!!!" Standing slowly his icy wounds burned his Goliath flesh. Grabbing his axe he grit his teeth and ran at the dragon going into a frenzied rage slashing up the dragons front claws and face, trying to hopefully kill it before it froze him solid or ate him for lunch!

Adrik pulled the girl back a bit and hid her behind a tree, "stay there ya wee lass, we'll protect ya!" He pulled out his crossbow and pointed the bolt at the wings but the girl tugged on his coat, "lass I gotta help your friend, cut it out!" The girl slowly walked up to the dragon and spoke something in a language that the dwarf didn't understand, was it Elvish? Maybe it was Celestial?? But as she spoke her eyes began to glow and she reached out and touched the dragon's scales and it began to disintegrate! The dragon screamed out in pain with axe marks on its front and part of its hind legs missing it turned its fury towards the small elvish girl. "No ya don't!!" A crossbow bolt fired out and shot it in the eye and as it let out it's breath the icy fire sprayed onto the trees freezing them solid! The dragon's wings began flapping and it was in the air now! "That's rught run ya scaley coward!!!"

The sound of battle in the distance Bathe fell to his knees out of breathe, looking up he saw a dwarf with a grey beard staring at him.Hello Mister Spellborne, my name is Urlond... I am the mayor of Tall Stone... But as you know by now I am not in control, control of the city is held by Father Gaston. Bathe stood, confused about why the mayor was here. Two body guards stood at the dwarves's sides but other then that he seemed to be alone in the woods. "Why are you here?" Arcane energy flickered in his hand, as if warning that he shouldn't be threatened. Why I am here is to tell you to bring the witch to the capital building... You have one week and if you don't then Father Gaston will publicly exicute one Miss Evelyn Manchester... Bathe swelled with rage completely zoning out his morales and the dragon sounds in the distance! His tattoos glow and he used Telekenisis, throwing one of the guards thirty feet up into the air! The other drew his sword but Urlond raised his hand,Killing us will only bring upon Miss Manchesters death quicker... The guard slammed to the ground, and Bathe glared at the Mayor, "why not stand up against Gaston? Why let him do this?? Burn children at the stake and threaten the entire well being of the city!"

The mayor sighed, because he is the one apprentice of the great queen, not only is his power great but if something were to happen to him the Queen of Healm would attack without mercy on us... Bathe watched the one guard help the other up, his leg was broken along with two or three ribs but he's live. "Your great queen will not be able to bring her wrath down upon you if I do it first... Just remember that." And Bathe turned and began to walk back towards the group.

Not seeing the girl at all doing her spell casting thing, all he saw was the dragon turn away from him leaving the white dragons neck fully exposed! In giant speak Relic yelled out, "Frost Giant's strengthen my axe!" And with that he brought the blade down heavily! Slicing deep into the Neckar it tried to lift off the ground, Relic dos not behead the monster but cut deep into its jugular... Blood poured out as the beast looked at Adrik and the girl, then back over to Relic with its one good eye. The dragon fell back to earth crumpling on the ground as it tried to cover its neck wound with its left claw. Relic wouldn't let that happen however, jumping up into the Dragon's back he brought his axe down with such strength the thick wooden handle shattered as the blade lodge itself in the top of the dragon skull. Twitching for a moment it finally stopped moving, Relic was now a dragon slayer.

Adrik placed his crossbow upon his back and looked at the ice dragon that lay before them, "you stole my kill Goliath!" Truth was he had killed a dragon once before, an adult red dragon in the north kingdom of the Ember Isles, but now wasn't the time for bragging. Was the little girl really a witch? How did a girl no more then nine or ten know a powerful spell like disintegrate? Was she a sorcerer like Bathe? The ability to cast a spell without a Spellbook, holy symbol, or a magic instrument meant she was either a sorcerer, Druid, or a.... Warlock. Female warlocks were in fact recegnized as witches and some did take on other forms to keep their disguise under wraps but was this girl truely a witch? Only time would tell, either way Adrik wouldn't let her be burned at the stake.

Bathe returned soon after the dragon had been put down he touched the ground and his tattoos began to glow, "shape water..." He said as the The water of the near by lake wrapped up the corpse and slowly dragged in into the body of water. The lake became cold instantly and small patches of ice formed a top it but not quite freezing the lake over. "Thank you guys, I hate dragons... When it landed it told me if I went with it it would spare you guys but I... I... I just couldn't...." His guilt wrapped over him but then his internal quest was remembered, "guys they have my fiancé, they want me to trade the girl for her but I say we just sneak in save her before they exicute her and... Get the hell out of this messed up Kingdom..."
