Lizzy stared at him, "I-I had to return this," She said tossing the gun at him, kinda sliding across the pavement. She ignored the whole, comment about how she could die any second. It's not like she didn't know that, and he obviously got a glimpse of how old she is by her strength yesterday. "Sorry, I'll be on my way soon, back home"
"Hey, wait..." The gun stopped on step in front of Leo, just out of his reach. He looked down at the weapon, then back at Lizzy. He took a tentative step forward, knelt down, and reclaimed his weapon.
"Why," he asked. "Why are... why didn't you kill me when you had the chance? I'm a hunter. What do you gain front this?"

She looked at him sadly, sad that people automatically assumed that all vampires killed humans. "I don't hurt people" She said simply, with a sad smile. "I never have and I never will" She couldn't believe that when she was turned nobody knew about vampires, and within two decades everyone was against them. And the humans were pretty strong, since they had figured out how to kill vampires.
"I... you seriously never have? I--"
She gave his gun back to him, risking life and limb to do so. He literally gave him the power to kill her during a time of extreme vulnerability.

Lizzy seemed somewhat shocked by this but let it go, "Uh yea sure" She said unsure. "Here-" She said, pausing to write down her address on a piece of paper she had, "This is my address. Come over whenever I'm usually there" She said still a bit cautious, being sure not to expose her skin, "Y'know being a vampire, I don't do much?"

It took Lizzy a moment to understand but she smiled at him again, this time in a better way. She found it adorable how he was so nervous, "I live alone, I've been alone for a while" she reassured him. "Don't worry"
"Okay. Cool. Um... I've... you don't mind if I bring my Soda Popper here, do ya?" he asked, gesturing to the gun in his hand. "It's kinda dangerous at night."
Briefly Lizzy looked surprised but it quickly faded. She hadn't ever had to worry about that cause she could take care of herself. "Um, yea I don't mind." She smiled, "But don't like flash it, a lot of people I know around there get nervous around hu-people with weapons." She almost said humans but corrected herself, most of the people around her were Vampires as well. Young ones, unfortunate souls that had been turned by vampires accidentally, she was sort of their mentor.
"Okay then. I--I'll be there in a couple of nights. It--I'm on the clock most nights. That... those are work hours for us most of the time." He backed away slowly. "Um, don't forget me, okay? S-stay out of trouble until then, okay?"
"I will" she nodded, "It doesn't have to be night, my apartment is inside, day is fine" She told him and began backing away herself. "See you then" She smiled, before quickly disappearing into the sewers where it was dark. Even though she was covered, the sun was starting to affect her, she had begun to feel the burn of it. She quickly got to her apartment and sat in her dark bedroom, with a cup of wolf blood, thinking.
The days passed agonizingly slowly, but the time did eventually come when Leo made his way to the address on the paper Lizzy gave him.
He had to go at night. It was only right that he return the favor by going to see her when she was at her least vulnerable. It was a larger building than he had expected it to be. His hunter's instincts alerted him to literally hundreds of possible ambush points all around him. His weapon was covered in a fake backpack, and he was at the ready to draw it out at a moment's notice.

Elizabeth could hear Leo from her apartment, as he approached the building. She was older so she could hear that far, unlike most younger vamps that lived around her. But some of them, especially the ones of the bottom floor could probably hear it as well. These were young vamps, ones that probably don't have much control yet. Damn it! What was I thinking asking him here.. She thought angry with herself, if something happened to a hunter there the whole building would be investigated. Then all the young, not very careful, vampires around there would probably be killed. She rushed out to her balcony and watched from above. Another one of the perks of being older was the extra powers that vampires sometimes developed. She was able to sense humans and vampires around from longer distances, so she knew the location of every being down there, that is unless there were wolves. Which was highly unlikely.
She only sensed three figures outside, her, Leo, and another vamp. One who from the color of their aura-like glow was pretty young. He was a few yards away from Leo, and might not attack. She couldn't jump down now, cause that could set him to attack mode so she just watched. "Damn Scout move faster," She mumbled to herself, Scout still being the only name she knew him by.

He reached the door and grabbed the handle. The door handle gave a loud "chunk" sound, far louder than any heartbeat.
Leo looked around him. Even in his night-vision goggles, there was nothing around him. Vamps didn't give off any useful heat signatures unless they were in the process of feeding, so he still needed to be careful.

Lizzy watched silently, as the door handle made a noise. She watched as he looked around before 'escaping inside,' though little did he know it probably wasn't too safe in there either. She also watched at the vampires aura turned toward the door, toward Scout and slowly began moving forward. "Damn" She mumbled, and carefully jumped down, landing just beside the wall in the shadows. She ran to the door, just as the other vamp was getting there. Kicking up, she sent him flying across the lot, but knowing a vamp he would recover soon. Unfortunately she recognized him, his blonde hair and -red- eyes, Jase wasn't one of the good vampires. She had tried to get him to leave the building, to stop jeopardizing their cover but it wasn't working. She quickly entered the building after kicking him and turned to Leo, "Hey, lets go up stairs shall we?" She said nonchalantly, ish.
"Um, hi." Leo's voice shook a little. She had surprised him with her sudden, silent arrival. "I... I was hoping to see you here. Uh. Hehe."
He didn't know what he wanted to say. Oh man, he must have looked and sounded like an idiot. "Uh... n-nice night tonight."

"Uh, yea" She said distracted, her hearing was mainly focused on the vampires around. Lizzy grabbed his hand and began pulling him toward the staircase, "We should get to my apartment" She said urgently, as she literally pulled him across the building. Once they got to the stairwell, she began to hear Jase entering the building. "Are you afraid of rollercoasters? Or fast motion? Or heights or something?" She asked, making sure before she jumped four stories to her floor.

"Hold on" she grinned, before jumping up the open stairwell, pushing sideways on the fourth floor to land on the landing. Once they landed she let go and stepped away, waiting for his reaction.
