Seeing nothing, Lizzy goes back and jumps back down, walking to her residence. She had claimed this area, about four or five acres around her of sewage pipes as hers, by killing vamps to came by to take it. People (Vamps) knew of her but nobody really knew her cause she kept to herself. She changed clothes, before jumping back up and making her way to the street. Just because she wasn't human, didn't mean she couldn't go out like a normal person. And It's good that it was autumn, almost winter, so nobody would wonder why she was so cold if they touched her.
After I finish my waffles, I get dressed in my normal clothes, a camo t shirt, dark blue jeans, and a black leather jacket, and I pull my car into my garage with my bare hands, and I do a bit of tinkering on it, planning to put on a new spoiler I bought. I put on my work gloves, hang up my jacket, and I get to work.
As Lizzy walks, she see small groups of hunters patrolling the streets around the blood bank.Probably because of the robbery... She thinks, keeping her head down. She shoves her hands into her cardigan pockets and keeps going. She has a ton of clothes, from a ton of different era, and several styles from those era. After all she is 250 years old, and why throw out perfectly good clothes when you wont grow out of them. She also has about a dozen Vampire Halloween costumes. Since apparently its still tasteful to dress up as the two things humans hate the most.
Once the spoiler is on, I lift up the car with my bare hands and I do a semi quick inspection just to be safe, because ever since I took it to be inspected, it's been making a weird noise. "As soon as I finish up here, I'm going to find Lizzy, and maybe we can hang out, maybe she has an idea of how she can repay me."
Lizzy stops walking and enters a small cafe, she sat in the corner by the window. She stared out at the Hunter parties, wondering if Leon was out there. Patrolling, she wondered if they were looking for her or just any vampire in general. The lady working in the cafe approached her, as she hadn't ordered anything. "What would you like miss?" She asked sweetly, "Just a lemonade" she smiled.
Once I finish my inspection, I rake off my gloves and put my jacket back on. I get in my car, a black 2015 Corvette Stingray, and just drive around, hoping to see her.
Once the lemonade comes, Lizzy pays and thanks the lady. She most likely wont drink much, since it doesn't help her at all, and the taste isn't good or bad. She kept looking out the window as she slowly sipped, searching for Leon.
I keep driving until I reach the same cafe that Lizzy at, and I park my car outside. "I could use some coffee right about now." I get out and walk in, not noticing her, and I sit down a few tables away from her, and I check my phone, seeing if I got any texts.
Lizzy looked up, smiling slightly when Leon enters the cafe. She didn't say anything, though she kept and eye on him. She saw him on his phone and almost scoffed, but didn't. Lizzy didn't have a phone, she had one long ago but she gave it up, realizing as a Vampire she didn't need it.
I put down my phone and a woman comes over to take my order, and I order a black coffee. While I wait for my coffee I look around to see if I knew anyone else here, and eventually I look over at Lizzy, but I don't recognize her immediately.
Lizzy turns her head ever so slightly toward Leon. She obviously wasn't going to approach him, she was a Vampire and he was a hunter, she had no idea why he was even there.
After I recognize her, I get up and walk over to you, sitting down across from her. "Hey, Lizzy. Funny seeing you here."
Lizzy looked at him, with a smile. "Yeah" She responded, "What're you doing here?" She asked, still not sure if she should be running or not.
"Well, today's my day off, so I decided I would try to fund you, because maybe you had some idea of how to repay me for yesterday. I only stopped in here because I wanted to get some coffee." The woman who took my order brings over my coffee and I thank her and pay for it.
She smiled, "Well I don't know, how could someone like me repay you" Lizzy said, avoiding the word Vampire. If anyone at all heard her say it, she would be dead for sure.
"I have no clue, that's why I wanted to ask you." I take a sip of my coffee.
"I guess you'll have to think of something" She said with a small smile, spinning the straw in her lemonade.
"Well, do you want to go out sometime?" I continue to drink my coffee.
She smiled, "Alright, what did you have in mind?"
I smile. "I could pick you up around 6, take you over to my place for dinner and a movie, maybe a few drinks."
