"But they shouldn't just ignore who they are, and what they can do. If they have powers, they should use them, not pretend like they don't."

"I... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you or anything." Nick apologized rather sincerely, after all he was sour about being a freak naturally, he couldn't imagine being turned into one against his will. "It... it's not like I don't want to help, I just... I'm scared, of what I am, of what I can do, hell I don't know how I can do it, I just woke one morning and IY ou could hear... everything." Nick revealed, it was true, he had no idea how he got his powers in the first place, they just sort of appeared, it made him feel really insecure, heck he didn't even know if he could call himself human anymore.

"You don't have to be scared of yourself or your powers Nick, that's also part of what the Avenger's Initiative is all about." Agent Coleson interjected. "If you stay, you can learn about your powers, learn to control them, and maybe, figure out how you got them in the first place. All we ask in return is that you put them to good use, you never know just how much of a difference one person can make."

"...I don't know." Nick said incredibly apprehensive.

"Listen, kid, if you stay, I can teach you how to weaponize your power and use it to fight. And I can reach you how to fight hand to hand for when you need to. And to explain your powers appearing suddenly, that means your powers are derived from the X-gene, and those kinds of powers don't start up until early teens."

"It's your life, just do what you want."Vivia said. She wanted to argue back with Leon, but decided to hold off for the moment, until Nick decided what to do.

Rowan was clearly growing bored of this. She seemed a bit lost in thought for a minute or two, but she suddenly seemed to perk up.
"Hey, can he think about it over food? I don't know about you all, but I'm hungry. Is there any food on this thing? Also, where are we going? If there isn't any food, we better be stopping soon, or I might turn cannibalistic." Of course, she didn't mean that. She glanced at everyone, taking her time looking at them, attempting to look like she was picking out one of them to eat if there wasn't food.

Kelta nodded and clapped. "Lovely idea! You must be the smart one." She leaned in close to Rowan. "If you resort to cannibalism, eat Leon." She whispered. Kelta straightened and adressed the entire group. "Avengers, our first order of business is to find food!" She yelled, whipping out a sword from practically nowhere and brandishing it wildly. "I shall check the cargo hold! If we find nothing edible, we shall eat Leon! NOW MOVE!" She shouted.

"...That's the leader of the Avengers?" Nick asked sarcastically, much to Agent Coleson's exasperation.

"Don't ask." He replied. Nick had officially calmed down a bit and figured that it wouldn't hurt to stay for lunch. And so he followed Keltaina and the others out the door to where there was apparently going to be food served.
