Lina hasn't ever been in love before. Never had anyone peak her interest in that way. She's seen her twin sister fall in love and wondered at why she felt slightly envious. Maybe one day she'll find some of her own. Maybe one day. Maybe now. In this futuristic coffee shop, staring into the eyes of the man who she just spilled coffee all over while he was on his HoloCom.
Never role-played before, but for this RP I'm just looking for a romantic interest.
Someone that'll really make this gentle princess' world spin. Takes place in a futuristic setting where magic DOES exists. So, flying cars, lazer guns, wands, cursed weapons -even "holocoms" (holographic communicators)- are allowed. Anyone up for it?

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Further future, perhaps visit mars or upload your brain
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

I got someone good for this! He's turned into quite the Casanova over his various continuities (in spite of being a completel doof).
I usually don't pay much attention to strictly romance-y things, but this caught my attention. Possibly balancing things out: the two possible characters I thought of using aren't exactly for straightforward romance.
One is Loki, who can come across more romantic than he means to. He does care, very much, but he's not the sort to have a "one true love."
The other is Jackson, who only fakes affection and would more likely just use, and possibly attempt to kill, her.

Aaah this seems adorable! How about.. Kyle Gheris? He's rather gruff (haha), but he can be pretty nice. I could play as him before well, y'know, the Game turned his life upside-down.

This sounds like the perfect rp for Leon. He's rich, but not stuck up. He's smart, but not a smart alek. He's got a tough outside, but under the right conditions he can be kind and sweet, and he's basically the fairy tale guy come to life, but not a douche.
I'm usually not too keen on Romance RPs in the slightest... (not to mention I've never actually been in one before since my RP preferences consist more of fantasy and combat than anything else.) But this one has caught my eye... Something about the setting... I don't know how to explain it, but... I guess I could give a try, I mean what could go wrong? (EVERYTHING.)
