I started early- Took my sword-
Blueish orbs appeared as Osmium lifted his lids, his eyes scanning every item his vantage point would allow, before finishing and resting on the girl stretching her arm out to the chemical death trap. "Either.. I'm not dead, or the afterlife looks a lot like a really shabby library.Osmium spoke, the side of Os's cheeks hinting at a smile. So, are you an angel? Or the librarian?Ignoring her offer for help, in the most polite way possible, he pried himself off the book case, to prove he was competent in front of the angel/librarian. Though, he would admit she didn't look like any of those two occupations. In the slightest. Like, at all.
His need to be independent and freeing himself from the bookshelf's vice by himself did not come without consequence. A book was flung off the shelf and hit the armored bloke in the back of the head, with a light thunk. The book in question was a relatively "new" looking paperback, a joke book, containing 76 jokes about a certain element. That's convenient.. Osmium stabbed the book with the sword that was strapped at his side, rubbing the back of his head piece, somewhat disgruntled and fairly miffed at books in general. Osmium returned his attention to the girl, hoping that some miracle dragged her attention away from the fiasco that just occurred.
Hi, I'm Tzini. Tzini Osme
Once Xianto had reached the corner he had chosen and nursed his wounds for a few seconds before taking a look at those around him, all of which was alien to him. There were no other soldiers, no one with familiar technology. He was alone. However he did seem relived a few seconds later when he realised there was no one from the Visrain Empire there either. But everything was a bit too... alien for him. It was all a bit too much and instead screwed his eyes tightly shut for a few seconds holding his rifle tightly in hands that were now going wet with sweat. Its familiar shape at least provided some comfort to him, if not much.
There he stayed until he heard a voice which he could only assume was talking to him. Slowly he opened his eyes and looked up. The man who was talking to him was holding a box of some sorts. What was inside he had no idea, nor did he have any idea what the man was talking about. Not knowing how to respond he looked on silently for a few seconds till he responded. "What are band-aids?" He felt a simple question was the best, he didn't want to antagonise the man. He could barely stand at the moment and didn't want another fight.

Krys watched as the bluish being got himself unhooked from the bookcase. She saw the entire scene unfold as he landed and got hit in the back of the head by a book coming lose. With a slightly confused but yet worried look she glanced down for a moment at the stabbed book then back at him.
The being introduced themselves as Tzini, they seemed rather odd but also rather well armed. Nodding, she returned the introduction, "The name's Krys." With a sly grin and a wink she added, "Nice sword you got there." She let Tzini take that in whatever context they wished, all the while she thought about how great it would be to steal that blade of his someday.

A lost swordsman.
He nodded at her compliment, whispering his thanks while lifting his sword so she could see it better. We're pretty close, my sword and I. We're made out of the same stuff. The craftsmanship of the sword was above average, as it still retained a beautiful shine, despite being obviously worn and torn. Wouldn't touch it though. Osmium, the chemical that it, and I, are made of. Yeah, it's really toxic. I'm suppressing most of the osmium output with my aura, but it's still pretty annoying. Even suppressed. He returned the sword to his side, deciding he rambled enough about his and his sword's inner workings.
He bowed his head like the refined knight he strived to be, but failed to be, as can be clearly seen by his previous antics. He does have the manners of one, at least. Very nice to meet you, Krys. I don't suppose you know where I am? I kind of just.. Dropped in. Weird stuff. He hummed, with a slight furrowing of the brow and a frown to accompany it. Though, it was difficult to see the mouth of the djinn. All that armor!
(We're not keeping you from stealing a wicked sword, we're saving your life!)
Glancing around at the tall bookshelves she looked back at Tzini with a somewhat defeated look. "I have no idea where this is." She shrugged and continued on, "One minute I'm collecting money for a job well done, decided to skip town for a few days and next thing you know... I'm here."
The thief pulled out her scratched up leather bound journal once again and skimmed through her most recent pages. "There's a bunch of people back in the direction I came, seems like there's a bunch of us. One of the girls seems a bit crazy and kept talking to herself. It would seem that we've all kinda been thrown in here some way or another is my guess."
Before putting her journal away she decided to quietly add a note about Tzini along with the rest of the unfortunate souls brought here.
-Tzini Osme, claims to be made of Osmium. Has an interesting sword, let him keep it. Too dangerous to steal. Bluish skin, not sure what he is but seems trustworthy enough. For now. Also doesn't seem crazy. For now.
Thinking it might be for the best, she decided to accompany the knight just in case he got himself lodged on more bookshelves. He seemed like the most stable person of the lot to her at present time.

The Blue Man & Woman group.
Well, isn't that just fantastic. That's probably going to be the first thing we should work on.. He let out a gentle sigh, raising his head to stare at the ceiling, with hidden puffed cheeks, before letting all the air out. Yeah, I was just taking a nice stroll in the woods. What luck!
Tzini rose to the tips of his toes as she pulled out, not exactly trying to hide his attempt to eavesdrop. He couldn't read it very well anyhow. The angle was obvious bad, and Tzini didn't know how to read upside down. That's strange. I wonder why we in particular have been gathered, and if anyone in particular is behind it. He brainstormed, turning his attention away from the notebook, and towards where she originally came from.
I oughta' check out the other guys, and see if there's anything in our little starting area. He notified her, setting off with a clank of his metallic boots on the hard floor. He rounded the corner, taking in the individuals populating the area, as well as the oh-so-crucial rule plaque.
Well at least the man didn't seem to mind nearly getting chomped. Looking around Nem tried to see any hint to where they were. "So if you won't tell me-" she trailed off as she walked a little forward. "I guess I'll have to-" as she got to a intersection of shelves she froze. Around the corner was a beast the size of a hummer, built like one two. Appearance wise it seemed to be made from stone, four legs, a clubbed tail, and an orb like head. As its maw opened though from the back of its throat a red glow stirred. "Oh you want to fight?" She was about to lash out at the creature with her tails, but. The two only tails she had bounced harmlessly off its stone skin. "Oh...shiiiznarg!" She yelled as she began running back. The stone lizard wasn't to far behind.
Crow’s gaze sharply leapt from one person to the next, her expression remaining neutral. Unfolding her arms, she busies herself with pulling a vial of ink from her dirtied, feathered robes. Dipping an ink pen into the vial, she opens a small, tattered black book and begins writing. First, she looks up towards Draken. One up-and-down glance, she writes “Tome-holder”, and her pen strokes depict drawing in thin and thick lines.
The next was Xianto, as he struggled to his feet. Crow’s gaze stares at him, unwavering, as he moves to a corner. She breaks her stare to make quick, long lines and short curves. She writes underneath the drawing, “Fighter; unknown weapon.” Looking up from her writing, she furrows her eyebrows towards the golem. Her form tenses and her gaze snaps to the bottle. While she stared at it, the longest of pauses passes, before she speaks sharply, “What is your purpose?” As it lifts the oculus to its eye towards her, and the bottle begins to fill, she snaps her gaze to the bottle and utters a word under her breath. The bottle frosted over before shattering. Her steeled gaze snaps towards Draken, “Do not involve me with your magic unwillingly. I will not warn you again.”
Holding her stare towards the man, she lets it move only to glance down the hallway, the tailed figure running towards them. Then the stone golem appeared; Crow’s form turning to face it, her eyes upon it.

Upon the bottle breaking, the liquids it had inside it had spilled onto the floor, with them quickly combusting into floating auras and dissipating soon after.
Seeing his golem's bottle shatter by the pale girl letting loose all that essentia onto the ground, he gives a quick glare to her and ushers his golem back over to him. The golem trots back over while still looking through the oculus. Draken looks over to her. "I hope you know that what it was doing was completely harmless. It was just identifying your Thaumaturgical aspects and gathering essential based off of them." He gives the golem a new bottle, this time a warded one. He then notices the figure and the stone beast heading their way.

Krys quickly finished scribbling notes in her journal to catch up to Tzini back int he main room. While they seemed busy looking over the rules, the thief's ears quickly snapped and pointed in the direction of the incoming stone beast.
Stashing her journal in her back pouch, the rogue grabbed her daggers as she tried to quickly analyze the situation. "Uhh... Tzini, you might want to ready that blade of yours as well..." The kitsune added as she gently tried to lift his head with one of her tails and point his gaze towards the stone creature.

Crow receives Draken’s glare with a look of indifference, “You would have told others whether what you were doing was harmful or not, after affecting them? Your method is flawed.” Crow’s gaze drifts towards the auras drifting away, before her gaze returns to the man, “I would rather you not gather anything of mine.” Placing her hand within her robes, she pulls the strings of her component pouch, “Ready yourselves, or die.” Her voice was rather flat, but it continued, “My magic is most effective against living targets, but I will slow its advance.” Taking a small, green square of clear liquid from her pouch, she crushes it within her hand. The ooze spreads upon her palm, the smell of burning flesh lifting into the air.
Lifting her hand over her shoulder, she makes a swiping motion through the air. A wall of ill-looking green ooze appears a few feet from either side’s walls, its insides shifting with the acidic liquid and partially melted pieces of bone. It was relatively short, leaving the few feet from the bookshelves clear, but thickening in front and behind. The wall bubbles violently, but was harmless to the floor it occupied. The wall settles into being between the lone approaching figure, with the stone creature behind her, and Crow and the others.

The Star-Crossed Savior
His head lifted easily, as it allowed itself to be pointed at whichever direction he was meant to be looking at, though he easily picked up the crashing and thrashing of the beast. He only caught a glimpse of the monster before Crow's magic formed the wall that separated the group from the stone lizard and Ookami. U-umm.. There's someone else behind that wall.
Tzini's hand grasped the hilt of his sword as he leaned forward, preparing himself to leap towards the opening between the book case and the wall of ooze. He simply stayed, until he heard a scream for help or anything related to that. But if he did not hear such, he would simply remain by the plaque, with or without Krys. Wonder if that's just a regular monster, or a guardian... He wondered out loud.
Krys' eyes widened at the thought of the individual being trapped on the other side of that 'wall' with the creature. She glared for a moment at Crow then glanced back at Tzini.
"Regular monster or not, if she screams any more there could be others..." With a low growl Krys set off in a sprint towards the newly formed wall separating them. Just before she would hit it she dashed forwards leaving a blur from her current position and shifting her being to other side.
Still in full sprint with her 9 tails swaying in unison behind her, the kitsune lunged past Nem towards the creature. Leaping at the stone lizard with both blades at the ready, she looked almost heroic. That was until mid leap the creature swung it's clubbed tail sending the rogue crashing into the bookcases at the side. From her angle she couldn't have seen it coming until it was too late.
Falling to the ground, Krys checked her ribcage and winced slightly in pain. That would leave a mark. The stone lizard continued forwards towards Nem. The only good thing that would come from the situation was that it gave the rogue a better view of the creature, hopefully she could pinpoint a weak spot.

Crow's gaze shifted towards the others, "She has already attracted one beast. Her yelling would stop immediately, should she encounter the wall." Crow's hand wiped the left over ooze upon her robes, her eyes focused upon the beast. To Osmium, though she did not turn to face him, "Is that your concern? It is not mine." She draws a small, well-kept blue book and begins sifting through its pages.
"Usually I don't have to explain what it's doing." Seeing the wall go up, he thinks now would be a good time to summon an arcane bore.
He takes out his Thaumonomicon again and opens it up. He points one of the ends of his staff towards the ground in front of him, the book glows briefly before a machine as big as a man appears in front of Draken, with part of it which looks like a drill end with a green gem faces towards the wall of ooze.

It was sudden but Nem's reflexes kept her from hitting it. "You..." The words lost beyond the wall as she shouted. The stone lizard was not done its chase just yet and closed quickly. Panicking she jumped and somersaulted over the beast, using her tails to push off its back and gain that extra distance. "Son of a-" she cursed before racing off down the hallway. "Why can't I just have something normal chase me for once!" She cried.
A left turn, a right, another right, and continued straight. She had lost the stone lizard, but what ever happened to it? It was no matter to her anymore anyways. Bloody witch had left her for dead. She hoped the lizard would break through that wall and eat her. As it was the lizard had indeed crashed into the wall of ooze, it's head stuck out the other side. It's mouth constantly opening and closing as it roared, it's body struggling against the slime wall.

A cyan superhero!
Tzini briefly glanced at the witch who spoke to him.Jeez.. What a caring individual. He thought, before returning his attention to much more pressing matters. The giant stone lizard, who had so rudely poked a head-sized hole into the wall Crow had created. Plus the young Krys who had thrust herself into enemy lines.
The male boosted himself off the floor and into the air, clearing the wall with ease. Hand on his sword, and eye on the lizard, he was careful to avoid any attacks it would throw Tzini's way, should it feel so inclined to turn around. He approached the collapsed girl with a worried frown. "Well, hello!" He said, somewhat sarcastically. If the lizard had not turned around at this point, then Osmium would lift Krys onto his shoulder, and lift himself up a bookshelf to safety. But if the lizard had turned around, and hadn't had a sudden change of heart, Osmium would draw his sword and prepare to hit metal against rock. He hated that vibrating feeling on his hands.
