These walls stretch high into the air. Behind these walls rests the capitol city of Vauc Berheemius. Ruins of old walls, towers, and various other structures surround these walls.
These walls are crafted out an unknown metal used by their ancestors. There is only one way in and one way out unless you have proper rank to pass through smaller gates. At the top of the walls were archers that were primarily volunteer veterans looking for something to do.
Beyond these walls rest the heart of the entire state. Expect heavy suspicion if you just pop up. Enjoy your travels through the hot desert and into the oasis known as Vauc Berheemius.
Inside the walls:
Vauc Berheemius is a legendary spot in The Phoenix State. The original Six Faces that brought the tribes of the Gate of the Valheecius Desert and the cities of the Valheecius Desert together called this home. A mighty dragon known as Vauc Berheemius, the dragon of stone, also called this land home.
During an ancient war, when The Phoenix State first united, this land was home to a game changing battle. A mighty mage and Vauc Berheemius were fighting the last battle here. The mage summoned a wave of lava and Vauc Berheemius used his massive size to embrace this wave, and due to his cool temperature, sealed himself in the extrusive igneous rock. It is said that when the time comes, Vauc Berheemius will rise again.
Till that time, the people will live in a city they have carved out of the rock. Upon the dragons head rests the main building for the military and law. It stretches down the neck and to the ground. Completely protected by siege weapons built into the fortitude and the elite soldiers known as Phoenix State Royal Forces. These soldiers are trained in the way of the Kiraxo House. Designed to kill, they are highly recommended for protection.
Inside the building, you can also find the head of every military organization, tribe representatives, and various other parties involved with one or the other. The education here is focused and specialized in Military Science. Despite it's powerful military presence and strict doctrine, they welcome outsiders to their city.
Fueled by a lot of what few tax dollars The Phoenix State collects, Vauc Berheemius exports a lot of igneous rocks of value for jewely, armor, weapons, or whatever they could be used for. Although limited on exports, this city thrives due to it's higher class of people that like to retire here for it's safety and beauty.

Welcome!
Zaltos was on a usual walk through. He moved across the top of the mighty wall, making sure his men were doing their jobs. Everyone and everything was perfect, as if hundreds of hawks on the hunt. Such things like this made Zaltos feel good, as it would anyone knowing that they were in safe hands.
Many months had passed and the city kingdom was trying to rebuild itself. Zaltos had managed to get Vauc Berheemius so far by himself, but it was time to find others. The kingdom was growing at a rapid pace. This meant more money, more jobs, and a need for more military, which takes care of the job part. The farming on the outside and shops on the inside could only do so much on jobs, so the military would take care of this, producing a rather large military over time.
To get to this point, he needed assistance, as nothing with power can be successfully ran alone. Over the next days, he was expecting a few visitors to fill these commanding positions. With such, he was also expecting possible troubles. One never knew what a new world was capable of beyond their walls.

Zaltos kept his pace, but after so much time of seriousness, he did enjoy having a little fun. A brace of ducks in their typical V formation was making their way towards the walls. Sadly, for the ducks, Zaltos was near a couple archers.
These archers, as all soldiers here, were part of the Phoenixian Royal Force. Their arrows had four blades and were designed for armor and siege penetration. This was especially so when they shot from the walls to the ground.
"Archers, catch us some dinner!", Zaltos shouted to the nearby archers.
Four archers would join in while the rest kept their posts. The elfin archers would aim to the sky and pull their bow strings back. As the brace of ducks came into view, four strings could be heard popping while their arrows whistled.
Four ducks would come down from the sky, nose diving to their position. Three of the arrows ripped through their bodies while one arrow had cut off a head.
The archers quickly ran to pick up their dinner. Zaltos would find a young soldier who wasn't an archer and have him take these ducks to his personal cook. The archers, Zaltos, and a few guests would enjoy fresh roasted duck for dinner tonight.
"It's sad, but good, that this is the most combat we've had since the Great Cataclysm. Such power, and yet all we get to take on in what we want for dinner." Zaltos spoke despite knowing that occasionally some group of rogues, orcs, or whatever would try to sneak in.

Violet cries softly, seeing how her best friends were captured as well as her,she tried to break open the cage surrounding her,but its too strong to break, surprising right? She looks through the hole of her cage, seeing a window, through that she sees grass, dust and trees, she sighs.
From the distance of the front gates, Raphael began his trek toward the city. He was on horseback with two Blue Serpent Order knights by his side, also on horseback. They carried banners of the Blue Serpent Order, the banners being dark blue with a snake in an 's' shape curled around an upside down sword. The emperor was here on important business to negotiate a possible alliance between the empire and the state. The Serpent Order knights being his personal bodyguard, in case of an assassination attempt or worse. As he and his knights approached the gate, he raises his hand from the reigns. "Hail! I am the emperor of Vevaria. I'm here on important diplomatic business, please allow entry." He says calmly.
I'll be posting thia evening. My posts might be slow for a week. Started a massive scale RP project that is going to bring multiple portions of the RP universe together.
Hours had passed and Zaltos was back within the confines of the mighty walls. He was walking through the bazaar and behind him came running a messenger. This messenger shouted for Zaltos, which caused him to stop and turn to him.
"Sir! I have two reports! We have guests and we've located a goddess who is trapped!" The messenger shouted before taking a deep breathe and wheezing some more.
"Send the guests to the Mess Hall in my mansion, i'm sure they'll be hungry from their travels. As for the goddess, send a squad of three for a search and rescue mission. If they retrieve her, bring her to me." Zaltos spoke to the messenger before turning back around and walking off towards his mansion.
At the main gates, orders were finally coming in. A loud sound erupted as the massive doors began to part. At it's base, the guards were still holding the visitors till verbal orders came.
The messenger ran to the officer at the gate and gave him Zaltos's orders. The officer would salute the messenger and turned to his visitors. As he did, two soldiers mounted on the back of black horses became visible between the recently forming opening in the gate.
"Emperor of Vevaria, welcome to Vauc Berheemius, Capitol City of The Phoenix State. Please enjoy your stay! Pharaoh Zaltos Kiraxo is currently staying here, so you are in luck. He has invited you to his mansion. Two of our men will escort you there so you don't get lost." The officer spoke.
Once the giant doors were fully open, the officer would wave the emperor in. Once the emperor and his squad was inside, the giant doors would slam shut. With that, orders were being distributed to assemble the three man squad to rescue the goddess.
.........................................................
"Two archers and one assassin will be sent to rescue her. It will have to be quick, there's no way to escape if you're found." An officer spoke to another officer.
"Well the team is ready and it's not our first search and rescue. Once we're given the coordinates, we'll be gone." The squad leader spoke as he entered the conversation.
(Violet, what's got you held captive outside of Vauc Berheemius and what kind of building is it that she's in. If you'll give me that, i'll go from there.)

Raphael turns his head both ways to his serpent knights and nodded as he and them enter the large gates. He was tense at best. In an unknown land in an unknown 'kingdom' it seems normal to feel a sense of fear inside. His knight on the right begins whispering into Raphael's ear. Although, it was nothing of particular concern for the citizens inside the gate, it could be seen as somewhat suspicious. Raphael nods and looks back ahead, toward the direction the guards were taking them.
After having arrived at the mansion, he dismounts his horse, followed by his serpent knights. He looks at the mansion, and then at his knights whom were staring in great awe. To him though, it seems like Tuesday. "Aye, thank you. Your efforts will not be forgotten, I guarantee that." He says, smiling at the guards. He makes his way to the mansion, his knights suddenly taken back into reality as they rush by his side.

The front door of the mansion would be opened by a couple servants. They would offer the emperor and his men a drink of water as they entered. It was a truly beautiful place filled with various pieces of arts and objects from this realm and other realms. One could easily tell that Zaltos was a very well traveled and prosperous being.
Eventually, the group was lead to a dining hall where they would be offered a seat a single table that was very long. The servants would offer to remove any extra weapons and baggage that might make it hard for them to sit. Here is where they would sit for a few moments by themselves. After they were all seated, the servants would take off and return with bread loafs, oil, and water. This was something to tide them over while they waited on their host.
"Pharaoh Zaltos will be present shortly. Please, enjoy this appetizer and talk among yourselves." A servant spoke before stepping back, waiting on Zaltos to arrive with his orders.

The emperor nods and smiles as he takes a swig of the water offered at the front. The knights were about to but are stopped by him.
As they entered, the knights were looking about at the various artwork littered about the halls and the like. Raphael also was quite amazed at the sight of these exotic pieces of culture. It seems as though this 'pharaoh'is very culturally diverse. Good, as Raphael himself was of the same calibre.
He sits down at the table with his knights by his side. The knights stay absolutely still as Raphael dines on the bread. "Thank you." He'd say to the servants as he waits for their leader.

Zaltos entered the Mess Hall decked out in full armor. A crimson cape hung from his shoulder plates and he carried his helm in his right hand. Zaltos was one that very seldomly came out of his armor, as it was in his nations militaristic belief to wear their armor to boast their power to anyone who seen them.
Zaltos's silverish white hair almost reached his shoulders. His icy blue eyes gazed up the emperor and his men, taking into accout their symbolism of the snake. After having to recently deal with a nation who worshipped a serpent, he was definitely cautious. Still, he'd hope this serpent was eager to have it's head removed, but that it wanted to work with the Phoenix.
The servants would move to Zaltos's throne like seat and dust it off before he sat. Zaltos would smile at the servants and give them the orders to bring the meal in ten minutes. For him to be a militaristic pharaoh, he was a very kind man to his people.
Zaltos would take a seat, setting his helm on the back of his seat as well as his shoulder plates and cape. He didn't bring his weapons to the meeting, expecting he had little to worry about here.
"Hmn...A blue serpent... Last serpent nation The Phoenix State dealt with had to have it's head removed. I sure hope your blue serpent is smarter than the red serpent of Ivelius.
I am Pharaoh Zaltos Kiraxo of Phoenix Imperium. I welcome you to The Phoenix State as a potential friend and ally. We have recently crossed into this realm and know little about it except heathens rule here just as any other realm. Like yourself, we are seeking powerful allies to reform this half way forsaken world into one that is free and prosperous. I'm hoping these reasons match up with some of the same reasons you are here."

A message would be delivered to the city by a grey uniformed soldier, he wore no actual armour but the way he walked and the designs of his uniforms showed him off as a soldier. The letter would be handed to the first guard who accepted it before the soldier turned and curtly walked away. The content of the message read as follows:
"The Visrain Empire will be sending diplomats to your nation to talk with your people. They will arrive in two hours inside a small fleet of airships. Do not panic at the sight of them or their weaponry. We are a highly militarised people and have no unarmed ships. Remember they will arrive to talk peacefully with your peoples, any attempt made to stop them or attack them shall be taken as a personal act of war against our nation. We hope you are a reasonable people we can negotiate with.
Kenelm, Captain of the Iron Guard."
It would be then up to whoever recived the message to act as they wanted in the time before the arrival of the Visrain Empires diplomats.

The guard would read the letter and laugh, "Just because we're new here doesn't mean we haven't seen flying ships. Hopefully they won't get scared by an armed escort over the walls...I doubt the commanders will just let them fly right in without caution. We're not an inter-realm empire for no reason."
He'd shout for a messenger and when they arrived, he gave orders, "Inform Arch General Promietheius and Pharoah Zaltos that we will be receiving a guest via air. I'll prepare the Air Force for their orders."
With that, preparations began forming for the arrival of the foreign air ships. With the orders involving the new lettet given, the officer and the messenger went different ways once they entered the hidden door near the main gate that was only accesible with the proper Rune that opened it.
It was maybe an hour or so later that massive sections of the Iron Wall of Vauc Berheemius began letting off a pressurized sound and mist. Openings in the walls like massive hangar bays folded open, held in place by giant chains and magic.
From these massive hangers came a series of dragon riders. They were all low scale flying dragons, but they could still bring down air ships with their claws, teeth, and capability for short bursts of fire or smoke.
There was an estimated thirty or so of these dragons. The riders and beasts were in full armor and all carried the banner of The Phoenix State. Ten of these beasts would circle the giant city kingdom while the other twenty made sure to scout the area to make sure there was no surprises. They followed a strict protocol and they didn't want to be blamed for any attacks on foreign diplomats.
For now, they'd keep up their patrols while waiting on the expected guests. They did notice small movement of orcs and dark elves, but nothing that needed dealt with at the moment. When the foreign diplomats arrived, they'd be greeted by these Phoenix State Air Force and escorted to whete they needed to land or unload depending on the size of the ships.

He coughed blood miserably whilst he plunged his blade into hoards of orcs. The beasts stood no chance, and they could not touch him. There was not a single mark of injury on him as well. The orcs were savage things, but the difference in intelligence was overwhelmingly obvious as Scolopendra finished the last of the creatures.
"Wow, the job is insane this time around. I really keep biting off more than I can chew."
He stumbles a bit on himself, and his face had a sallow complexion. Leaning on his sword for support, he rearranges his eye patch, then proceeds to pull out a scroll.
"Alright, let's see what's next on the list... Accept job, check. Massacre fiends, double check. Free the deity... Ah I need to do that as well."
He walks over to the cage containing the goddess. "Well aren't you a pretty thing."
(Not sure if she's still active but I don't know how to insert my character any other way.)

"Aye, that is correct." The emperor nods. "I am Raphael V. The previous emperor of the Vevarians. It truly is an honour, pharaoh Zaltos." He looks to his knights whom nod and say 'aye', them still being sitting up in an almost static position. He would then take a bit of bread and munch on it.
He folds his fingers together and rests his elbows on the table. "I assure you my good man, the Blue Serpent God Akrasius always has good intentions for Vevaria and its allies. You need not worry." He pauses. "I've come countless kilometres to reach this city with my knights, and I've come for a potential alliance." His knights nod in synch as he said that. "Together, we can share culture, military might, and the potential for trading. Sounds like a fair deal, yes?"

If she doesn't reply, you can 'return' to Vauc Berheemius with information and such. If she does respond, she'll be able to come straight through, like a time skip. Give it a day or so, and if she doesn't, make your return post.
Btw, were you looking for any certain position in The Phoenix State?

He stumbles a bit on himself, and his face had a sallow complexion. Leaning on his sword for support, he rearranges his eye patch, then proceeds to pull out a scroll.
"Alright, let's see what's next on the list... Accept job, check. Massacre fiends, double check. Free the deity... Ah I need to do that as well."
He walks over to the cage containing the goddess. "Well aren't you a pretty thing."

If she doesn't reply, you can 'return' to Vauc Berheemius with information and such. If she does respond, she'll be able to come straight through, like a time skip. Give it a day or so, and if she doesn't, make your return post.
Btw, were you looking for any certain position in The Phoenix State?
No, I just figured that this would be the best way to insert my character, seeing that he is a bit of an awkward gu .
The 'diplomatic' force looked nothing like it. It consisted of ten huge metal airships which had the shape of a huge metal cuboid which was around 50m long and around 20m wide. surrounding them were twenty smaller metal plated cubes these around 30m long and still 20m wide. In the very centre of the fleet was a far larger ship which was gigantic however this metal cubeoid was open on one end with lots of decks protruding out of the back of the ship. On these decks were lots of tiny single seat ships, all of which with a funnel at the back which for the small ships that were moving was belching out smoke from the steam engine inside. These small ships flew about the fleet and scouted ahead in case of trouble, however all of them made sure to keep away from the massive clouds of smoke that were belching from the huge chimneys at the back of the main airships.
All pf the main ships at the top flew the flags of the Visrain Empire, its gold star on an azure background surrounded by two crescent moons proudly on display. The ships once near the city would slow down and stop, waiting to be told where they could dock.
