Black Rock is a South Eastern Desert kingdom in the world of Ganymede, the Blackwood Mountain range separates this kingdom from the rest of the Castle Land Kingdoms creating an eerie sense of separation to visitors and traveling merchants. It is also the only kingdom left in the world where slavery is still legal! When someone's debts reach a point more then the legal human worth, drow worth, or what ever racial worth they can sell themselves into slavery, a child born into slavery is "legal interest" and becomes a slave until it can afford to buy itself.

Black Rock isn't the oldest civilization on the planet but it's the largest desert in the world and as such it is the only place where Allosaurus still live, only slightly evolved. People ride Raptors instead of horses, and have Triceratops pull wagons instead of mules because of the extreme heat and the lizards durability against sand storms.

Pterodactyl 4,000 Gold Pieces
(Ride/Fly)
Triceratops 5,000 Gold Pieces

Stegosaurus 5,000 Gold Pieces

Tyrannosaurs 10,000 Gold Pieces

New Szazos is the capital of Black Rock and the worlds biggest and one of the oldest slave trading markets in the world. That's why it is the richest. Szazos is also known for its fighting pits. Slaves are out against each other and fight to the death, should a normal person enter the pits and lose they owe their worth to the slave master of the slave they fought or they become a slave themselves. Should they win they get the slave (should they live) and the slave owner must pay the slaves worth! The Emperor of Szazos and King of Slave Trade is known as Saif Al'Din, he is a Rakshasa (demon/tiger being) but he is so rich and powerful that no one can touch him. He is not only gifted in the art of the sword, but has vast magical powers as well!
But Barakat is a large religious city, and home to the Library or Ganymede. An enchanted library that holds every book ever written. If some old halfling somewhere jots a story down on an old napkin a scroll will appear in this library containing the story he wrote half way across the world. No one really knows who enchanted it but rumor has it that the gods made it many years ago to record mortal activity and store it before the apocalypse one day!
Outside the cities many horrors await as well... An ancient Brown Dragon named Dukonuu is known as the "Sand Snake" and actually runs and rules a group of about four hundred bandits and thieves that raid villages and attack traveling caravans. His army of "sand snakes" are mostly human, Drow, and Orc and control most the crime in Black Rock. They are like the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood put together! There are also small hordes of sand lizard men known as Kobolts attack travelers as well. Native to Black Rock their scaled skin prevents them from drying out as quickly. No Goblins live in this kingdom, but Kobolts take their place killing and eating flesh of humans, elves, and other intelligent races. They are cowardice however and if your group is bigger then five or six they won't risk it. And with the Heat being so intense Flame Elementals love this place as well as earth Elements, the earth ones however take refuge in tombs and old ruins while flame Elementals can appear anywhere!
Bathe Spellborne is just a traveling sorcerer and has come to Black Rock to study the in the Library of Ganymede, but he has to get there alive first...
