Turning to see who had addressed him, Vale had rose his brow some. Glancing down to the helmet and then back to the woman that had been addressing him, he cleared his throat. Straightening out his cape, he had thought about what he should say.
"Er... I suppose that I've been doing fine this evening... save having to track down and locate two of my companions before we decided on staying within the town..." Valian admitted as he looked to her. Suffice to say, there was a hint of surprise when Vale had observed the woman. She had been about his height -- maybe slightly shorter, but still a relatively decent height nonetheless.
"I, uh... I presume that this is... your... event?" Vale asked after a second of silence.

Azazel put her free hand on her hip, inclining her head to Vale. "It is. My name is Princess Azazel, and you are...?"
While not normally presented with the presence of a royal figurehead often, Vale had bowed out of respect. His arm had come instinctually over her heart and chest, and he had remained silent for a short time. Looking back to the princess before him, Vale had introduced himself: "Felvalian Azmus. Many people simply know me as Vale or Valian, whichever sounds more aesthetically pleasing to the one speaking it."
The guard appeared to be stiff as stone. Maybe they weren't even alive... Was he really talking to a statue? ... .... Oh well... Why would an abandoned old castle even have guards around... That's just dumb.
Christofer would sigh, leaving the guard behind himself. The boy woud approach the castle, shivering and shaking with cold. Maybe he could get some cover from the wind while he'd call someone to pick him up, and it wouldn't hurt to explore the castle a bit as he'd wait

"Well met," she smiled at him. "What brings you here on the night of our celebration of those long since passed, Ser Valian?" She prompted, tucking a lick of hair behind her pointed and beringed right ear.
Past them, what looked like a dozen women spotted Toffi's costume and flocked to him to simper about how cute he looked. They ranged from 5' to 5'6" and had rather plain faces done up in dowdy makeup and fancy brightly colored jewels adorned their unexciting necks. Their dressed were well-padded and colorful.

The moment he stepped through the gates and into the courtyard, Virtue could practically taste the festiveness in the air. That in itself was intoxicating enough, but the night sky with its thousands of twinkling stars and the flowers and little beings in the yard added to the magical air. It was the music, though, that attracted the young boy most, drawing him into the festivities.
His costume could have been Peter Pan, though it was ambiguous enough to make him seem like he might instead be dressed as the Pied Piper. The flute on the twine around his neck was left out in the open, visible to anyone. Some might not even guess that he knew how to play the wooden instrument, he figured. He hadn't planned to get involved in any of this Halloween madness, but he had gotten enough stares and commentary about it that he ended up throwing a few things together that he found from a thrift store. He didn't regret it - he had never realized before how fun it was to be out and about among the trick-or-treaters and party-goers.
The smell of food taunting him brought him to the table where he snatched something warm to nibble on. Then he wandered over closer to the fountain and the band. As he ate his little bit of food, he looked around. 'What a grand castle,' he thought curiously. 'I wonder who owns it... Do they like having such a big place?' He wondered silently to himself, of course, his curiosity always quiet.

"!!!!!!!!!" The women scared the fluffiness out of him. The boy would let out a scream of some sort and attempt to escape from the sea of ladies. He couldn't reach the door anymore so he'd be forced to go deeper
He wasn't sure what he was scared of the most: that the castle wasn't abandoned or just the ladies

The women abandoned Toffi as he scurried into the party eyeing him and muttering morbidly.
And Azazel was still busy with Vale so she couldn't get to Virtuouso right away ;-;

"Ah..." Vale stood up straight and looked back to Princess Azazel. "That is... I had been informed of the events taking place, and it sounded as if that this would be something that would interest a couple of friends of mine. I was uncertain whether or not they would even show up here -- but seeing as we agreed to stay in town for a short time, I decided I should visit in case my friends were to attend the festivities."
Valian had looked to the others that were around the area and straightened his cloak.
"It appears they haven't shown themselves yet, though I'm sure festivities at a castle would be too much to pass up." Vale offered a small smile before looking to others that had been around. Clearing his throat, he gave another small bow.
"Pardon if I am stepping out of line, though it seems you have other guests. If you wish for my departure, I shall oblige." Vale had been more one to avoid conflict. He was more for the easy life, though sometimes it just was not that easy.

Azazel tittered appreciatively. "I think I'll just go back to the refreshments, im afraid I'll need more mead to make it through the night." She bowed her head again.
"Do try to enjoy yourself, won't you?"
"Do try to enjoy yourself, won't you?"
"I shall certainly do my best," Vale replied. "Thank you for your time and... sorry for taking up yours."
Vale had glanced about the area once more. There were some things that he was genuinely interested in, and perhaps he could have brought back some things for the friends he had been referring to earlier. They would probably appreciate the goodies; but if Vale knew anything, he and the others would definitely have treats for the rest of the coming weeks that they could snack on after having some rations or jerky.
Walking over to where some other people were, Vale had looked around to make sure his friends had not been in the area before going over to a buffet table that had been set up with food, treats, and refreshment for those to partake in. For now, Valian would be content settling on sipping some punch.

Virtuoso seemed just fine with being left alone so far. He didn't expect anyone to speak to him at all, really, and he didn't mind the momentary negligence. The boy simply enjoyed the festive mood, letting it remind him of dearly missed friends and memories. He managed to keep his focus on the more pleasant ones for the time being, thankfully. Though if he were to dwell too long, his thoughts would likely turn sour. He listened closer to the music, tapping and sweeping his feet on the floor, too shy to dance, but unable to entirely keep his body from moving.
