The sun was setting, and everyone in town were wearing their costumes. Some were fierce or ugly, others friendly and cute. The houses were decorated perfectly, with pumpkins, ghosts, skeletons, zombies... Needless to say, this Halloween was going to be a blast.
Night had fallen, and you and your friends had met up, going to house after house, scoring heaps of sweets. That's when a small guy with a Pumpkin on his head appears before you. He claims to be Jack, the Czar of Halloween. He then demands you give him candy, in return for a "Favour". Will you accept, or will you decline?

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
