"Could say the same to you Mr. Hero. I came back to the hotel to find you and something I left back in the woods missing. You simply were here as well when I went to retrieve my thing. I can't believe you would leave the room as messy as a pigsty then go hit on chicks. Have you no sense of priority? Anyhow,"

He closed the doors.

"Whatever pretty barrier you've erected won't hold them out for long. They seem primitive, but if my calculations hold true their technology should rival yours."

The machine holding them all suddenly shakes violently.

"I believe that's our cue to get the **** out of here."

"Don't encourage them."

Edward walked up to the console.
He began to turn the helmic regulator.
Once the level was at a hundred percent, he piped up the gyroscopic stabilizer.

"We really do not have enough power for a full materialization so i'm going to fly this thing manually."
"When i say manually, i mean hold on to something because this will be quite uncomfortable."

He began to pump the atomic accelerator, released the controls of the directional pointer to the pilot making him effectively in control of the entire Tardis exterior.

He studied the console computer. It was nothing but lines of code. No display whatsoever.

"Alright, everybody ready?"

Without waiting for an answer, he pushed the handbrake forward.

The Tardis lifted from the ground in such a harsh manner,

"Good, we're floating. Now to test out the movement."

The attacks from the men outside bounced frivolously off the Tardis shields.

Edward quickly pressed a sequence of numbers on the typewriter then held down the handbrake once more.
This time, the Tardis burst into the air like a weapon flung by that of a trebuchet.
The exterior spun unnaturally fast and barely floating upright.

"We're going to need a little more speed."

He set the atomic accelerator to sixty two percent and almost instantly, the Tardis interior began to shake uncontrollably.
Outside, the box was spinning and moving incredibly fast through the world.
It bumped into all manner of obstacles. Trees, buildings, even the ground itself before quickly pulling back up into the sky.

Within the Tardis, Edward ran around the console like a mad man.
Activating every single control he could get his hands on.

"Hmm, i think i found a place to land."

He grabbed control of the directional pointer and slowly directed it to the location.
The switch for the gravitic drift compensator was turned on enabling the Tardis to land slowly but roughly.
He activated the locking down mechanism, grabbed the console computer and pushed it towards the rest of the crew.

"We've landed on a mountain."
"Look."

Yandela opens her eyes and attempts to rise, leaning heavily on the corner of the control panel. "Then we should get moving, yeah?"

"Er, before you go."

He turned to the woman.
His eyes on the floor.

"I should t-t-thank"
He stopped mid sentence

"Nevermind."
"I'll stay in my ship and perform some repairs."
"You can all get moving on without me."

Yandela smirks. "You're welcome."

Edward blushed.
He immediately changed the topic.

"Get the hell out of my ship."
"Just because brought you all here doesn't mean i still won't destroy this planet."

"Mmmkay. Just be sure you pick us up before you do so. Cmon, Mars!" She grabs Mars' wrist and quite literally drags him from the ship.

Edward leaned against the console as he watched them stride out of the interdimensional pocket dimension that was the Tardis.
What was this peculiar feeling he got when they woman smirked at him?
It was......
A warm feeling.
No matter, the plan was to get the shards, refuel the Tardis to the full then proceed to destroying the planet.
It sounded more pathetic than ever.

He looked at Scolopendra

"Are you not going with them?"

As Mars was pulled out onto the mountain he tried to delete that awkward moment from his memory. Corny thank you's made him a little sick. Nevertheless he called his own thanks back to the men for essentially saving their bacon. "So.. What now, Yan?"

"Um... I want to figure out what Soul Shards are before we go collecting them." She frowns. "And if they're exactly what they sound like... I want to know whose soul we're collecting."

Scolopendra smiled lazily at the time lord.

"Maybe it'd be best if you went along with them. You need that extra leg in competition, considering how much farther that boy has gotten with her."

His eyes twinkled mischievously.

"Perhaps I'll assist your stubbornness."

In a swift surprise push, he shoved Edward out of the TARDIS and locked the door to it.

"I'll let you back in when they all return. Enjoy yourselves!"

"How dare you!."

He stared down the man, but it was obvious there was no winning it.

"Absolutely pathetic."
"I'll be back."

He slowly walked towards the duo who were deep in conversation.

"Err, there are problems with the ship, so i decided to tag along."
"Besides, it'd be best to look at the shards myself."

Xianto on his mountain stood there looking at had machines which he ordered to drill through it and set up a proper influx of resources. After a while of sitting there for a while while his machines mined around him. Then he collected the resources he had gathered from his wreaked machines. Putting them together he began to build a weapon which could fire them.

Yandela blinks. "You? Come with us? Is... Are you okay enough to do that... Like... Your shoulder and all..?"

Mars nodded in agreement "Yeah, shouldn't you save the adventuring until you don't have a hole in your arm?" It was less concern on his part, he was sure Edward would be fine, and more not wanting to listen to the man complain about the injury.

"As i said before...."
"It's a shoulder wound."
"I'm a Time Lord."

"Do you think a simple wound would hold me back?."

"Don't forget who flew you to this mountain and landed with pin point accuracy."

He chuckled to himself.

"Lead the way."

Scolopendra looked around the TARDIS. The machinery was on a whole different level than what he was used to seeing. But that wouldn't deter him.

The Time Lord was learning. Optimizing on his confusion, the assassin now had the device to himself to mess around with. He knew the feelings that the Gallifreyan had for the magic woman. He also knew the Time Lord needed to spend time to befriend them in order to get closer.

"Win win situation, with a bit more win for me."

Like a kid with a new toy, he backed up to admire the intricate design of the interior. Unfortunately he had fully analyzed the interior, there simply was too much to go through at once. His back pushed against some buttons, and he quickly ripped himself forward.

The machine was blinking and flashing and doing a lot of stuff that was BAD. Very BAD. He smiled a bit apathetically.

"Forgive me Eddy."

The contraption stopped finally. With a whoosh, the doors opened.

"...Looks like I'm on the other side of the mountain."

In front of him was the creep, with an improved and stronger army of robots, once again destroying the habitat.

"Pin point accuracy?" Yandela laughs, shaking her head. "As if. You rammed your own ship into the mountain several times."

"Not to mention you couldn't even walk on your own, not too long ago." Mars reminded, grinning.

Edward took the statement with a pinch of salt.

"But did you die?"
