"I've been to Detroit.
Disgusting place."
"It's rather fitting don't you say?"
He fought off a rude grin.
"Cordliad you say?."
"Never heard of it."
"I'm now assuming that me and this boy here, are from the same universe."
"How was your life in Cordliad?, you seem like the sort from a royal family."

"...I was a slave."
She turns abruptly on her heel, then glances at Mars. "That's why I told him yes. They were closing in after I'd escaped."
Yandela continues marching on. "Let's go."

He stopped in his tracks.
"The concept of slavery was incomprehensible to him."
"Slavery consisted of suffering.
Suffering was something he had never experienced."
Suddenly, he started to feel slightly agitated.
He returned to the duo.
"I can understand you don't want to talk about this, but we've got a long way left to the tower anyway."
"Do you mind telling me how your life was?"

Xianto flared up. "You don't have a damp clue about the world I was in. Piss off until you wish to talk civilly." The robots behind him blew the tunnel collapsing it from the inside towards the intruder. The rubble to dense for anyone to push through. Xianto drilled through the ground while blowing it behind him. Removing all traces that he had been there.
Before edds current post~
Mars chuckled derisively at Edwards statement "It is a hovel, isn't it? But, it's the city that raised me and there's no changing that," He marched on behind Yandela evenly "There was simply nothing left for me there.. That's why I agreed," he answered behind her.
After his current post~
"You first," he said after Yandelas response, knowing full well he wasn't the one of interest.

"What a pissant."
He begins to cut himself with his own blade, letting large amounts of blood pool to the ground. Scolopendra was planning on going for a full regression to melt through the ground and reach the stubborn mule.
"I'll rip out his god damn [whatever pumps blood into him], seeing as he ain't planning on using it ever."

He sighed
"I guess i understand."
"In case you wanted to know..."
"My past life was nothing special. My were parents murdered by a human cult.
On my fathers grave, they built a shrine to their 'god'."
"My response to that was quite simple. I destroyed that specific galaxy.
Every planet was burnt to ashes."
"If i'm being honest, killing humans never felt as good as i expected it to be."
"I have seen the birth of creation, births of stars and civilizations."
"And i have also seen the end."
"But yes, it was nothing special."
He laughed
"Still better than living in detroit though."

"Hm, that's a life," he said after Edward finished. He said this often when he found things to be neither pleasant nor disgusting. At the last jibe he didn't respond, simply staring off into the distance, recalling things from his own past. It wasn't so much the city itself he'd detested, it was more the filth that it housed.
Yandela stuffs her hands deep into her pockets, lost in her own thoughts and memories. The Time Lord's story barely registered and, while she was upset with his actions, she couldn't completely blame him either.
"...were you ever forced to kill your best friend?"
"...were you ever forced to kill your best friend?"
He wasn't giving up on the robot boy just yet. With a grunt he enters his state of Quantum Regression, and the blood around him began to glow and corrode the ground at a faster rate than the man could drill down. Injecting some more blood inside of himself to keep himself conscious, he grasps the sword tightly.
"I'm coming for you, you scrap of metal."
"I'm coming for you, you scrap of metal."
He stared into blank space and paused for a moment.
"I did tell you i was the last of the Time Lords."
"I did tell you i was the last of the Time Lords."
"What does that have to do with the price of tea in Socratis?" Yandela scoffs. "That's not an answer at all."
"Meaning what? You annihilated the others?" He asked skeptically. He didn't put it past the man, he'd destroyed and entire universe after all. Well according to him he had.
Xianto by this point had gone into a tunnel. He looked around at the two human figures behind him. "It is good to see you to were completed on time." The two nodded, in essence they looked human. One was male with piercing green eyes and silver hair and the was female with brown hair and warm eyes. He moved over to the female one. "I am thankful to have you with me again my wife."
He laughed.
She had clearly been through a tough time.
"We really are very similar."
"I have never killed my 'best friend' because i have never had a friend. Let alone a 'best friend'."
"Friends are distractions."
"However that being said, when this is over, i wouldn't mind paying a visit to your planet and taking care of those individuals who took you as a slave."
"Purely as an educational gesture of course."
He turned to Mars.
"Well that would be interesting wouldn't it?"

"...no." Her eyes flash and she turns back to face them. "Why should we get these damned soul shards? I have no clue what they are. They could be the key to the whole galaxy's destruction for all we know."
Her gaze unfocuses. "That means I won't be going home."

He stopped walking.
"So then what are we doing?"
"You plan to start a new life on this planet?"
"Might i remind you that not so long ago, there were very rude gentlemen trying to kill us, no?"

(Ugh you fast typing jerks)
Before Yan's post.
Mars laughed, "It would be." he agreed "There can only be one.." He said faux-seriously and laughed once again.
After:
"Well she'd just have to find some more friendly locals, or live secludedly, Me too actually,"

(Sorry!)
At this, Yandela looks up at Mars. "...yeah? You too?"
