"I never said you had a choice. We sleep in a city full of robots with strange photon weapons, we won't wake up. So we either let me pitch tent and camp her for the night, find fuel for the contraption, and take the city tomorrow, or we go in now and establish a stable place of operation. Either doesn't matter to me."
He looked at her from above once more.
Quaint he thought.
And then it hit him.
He could never actually hurt her.
"Pathetic."
"Me and Scolo can go we'll return later for you two."

Her gaze raises to Edward's. "You're injured too, dumb*ss."
"I said in exchange for assistance I will shelter and protect you two."
Plus he knew she had a certain pair of Gallifreyan eyes on her.

"I don't see the problem in resting here for the night and going to slaughter killer robots in the morning," he injected calmly into the discussion.
"You couldn't protect a rabbit from a carrot."
"I've made up my mind.
The two stay here.
Me and you go."
"Let's get moving."

Mars sighed "Just ignore me, I guess," he said and sat back on the ground "Fine, go get yourselves killed. I don't even mind anymore," he waved the two off dismissively.
"Tch." She rolls her eyes. "I think I've already demonstrated my ability to comprehend compex terms. That was just utter nonsense."
"I honestly could care less. The only thing I need to know is that you will help us later when we need it."
He thought for a second.
Give me a minute to get my battle equipment.
He unlocked the Tardis doors, disappeared inside and reappeared a few moments later with a large black overcoat, an exquisite fedora clearly from the 1800s, and a sharp curved sword.
He donned the coat, tied his sword belt across his waist and proceeded to sheathe the beautiful blade.
Edward crouched down and looked in her eyes.
"Do you doubt me?"

"People, please hurry up and make your decisions. If we keep delaying like so no one is going to sleep or fight."
He looked at the fedora in his hand.
It was actually far too small for his head.
He placed it on Yandela's head tipping it down that it covered her eyes.
"I wouldn't suggest you move from this spot until you can cast a simple teleportation spell."
"That way you can teleport me some home cooking."
He stood up and turned in Scolopendra's direction.
"Let's get moving?"

"Can't you guys get a room later and do that?" He said from his place on the ground at Edward's back. "You're making me a little sick,"
He solemnly agrees with the teen. Scolopendra reflected that perhaps having a more amiable character like him to accompany his quest would have been less horrifying for his stress levels.
Yandela blinks into the brim of his hat. "Did he just suggest that I freaking teleport him COOKING!?"
