He nudged Scolopendra.
"I can't believe you're actually taking this kid seriously?"
"I can't believe you're actually taking this kid seriously?"
"I suggest you promptly throw off that vain air of yours, this is the kid who controls his own world. He is right on your level, hmm?"
Edward stared at the man in utter spite.
"He transported me to a point outside reality."
"Nothing special...."

Her gaze curiously searches for the points of the bubble thing, the seven pillars that shone into the sky. "No... He couldn't..."
Is he honestly showing us where they are...?
Is he honestly showing us where they are...?
"Well, i'm not going to sit here and be patronized by a little kid."
He walked back to the Tardis where he saw Yandela and Mars.
He threw them a glance before entering his ship and closing the door behind him.
It was one thing to be outsmarted by higher race.
Being ridiculed and made to look inferior by a simple child, not even older than twelve was too much for him to handle.

Xianto look at the boy then away again. "Nah. Not at the moment anyway. My robots are still evolving. I will not budge till then or my emperor tells me to." The other humanoid robots nearby looked as if they were listening intently when the normal robots just went on with their menial tasks.
"Heh, yeah, sorry about that! I thought that I'll give yah some stuff that'll help yah in your journey!!" And with that, three objects floated in front of the companions. One was seemingly a Map that had a small, white glowing dot that was next to what seemed to be a yellow spot and nothing else that was special. The second item was a Compass of sorts, a small gem set in the middle. The third item was the strangest of the lot. It was a bright yellow feather, nothing more and nothing less. It's purpose, one could only guess. The boy beamed, happy with his work. "Do you like it? Made 'em 'specially for you all!"
Looking through the monitor of the Tardis Edward saw the items dropped by the child.
Though simple and primitive looking, they were probably highly advanced items.
"What does he mean by they are especially for us?"

Yandela climbs to her feet, reaching out for the items. She grasped the map and the feather in one hand each. "What...?"
He shrugged.
"Don't ask me, just be grateful we're getting an edge in this game."

The compass floated in Mars vicinity and he stood up and grabbed it. Hopefully it might help with his sense of direction issue. He turned it around in his hand, examining it.
Yandela turns to gaze questioningly at Mars, unsure what to do. "What... What now?"
Edward opened the Tardis doors and exited the ship.
He walked towards Yandela and motioned for her to give him the map.

"Mine." She hides the items behind her back. "Unless you say please."
"Beats me," Mars replied ignoring Edward's approach for now "Have any idea how to use them?" Then he noticed the man when Yan addressed him "He doesn't seem like the please type,"
She rolls her eyes and passes Edward the map. She grins at Mars. "I guess you were wrong."
He smiled. At least the Time Lord is learning to cast aside his arrogance for the better. He follows suit and leaves the ship.
(...Yandela has the feather...)
"I doubt that's it." She waves off Mars' remark.
