"Heh, well, yeah. The magic happens once I receive all 7, and I'll grant yah a ticket for a front seat so yah can enjoy the show!" He grinned as well.
"Fine, I can handle that." He patted the boy on the shoulder placing a tracking device on his coat. "So could you explain what the map and compass you gave us do?"
"Don't forget the feather. Besides protection, does it do anything else? " Mars questioned, finally crawling out of his blanket protection. He moved to sit closer to the others.
Yandela frowns. Her question is soft, almost fearful in inquiry. "Show...? Show to what..?"
"The map shows you the locations to which the next shard should be located, though it needs the shard prior to the next to work. Same goes for the compass, which points to the direction the next shard should be. The feather, however, other than protection, it makes the holder float down instead of falling. As for the show that you ask of, Yan... Heh, you'll just have to wait and see! There's gonna be fireworks!!!"
Mars pulled out the compass from his pocket. The needle spun around before finally orienting itself and settling on a direction.
Xianto tilted his head slightly to look at the boy. "I couldn't care less who or what you are. Only my emperor has the right to command me or make me do something. In my eyes you are not higher than him."
He then looked back at the timelord. "How in the blazes do you know what empire I hail from? What possible signs were there?"
He then looked back at the timelord. "How in the blazes do you know what empire I hail from? What possible signs were there?"
"Not higher than a piece of junk..?! What if I blew him to pieces, 'ey!?! Would I then be considered 'higher'?!" Mitsuki growled angrily. Not only was this man not cooperating, he also considered a tin can higher than him. He then began to wonder whether or not the man before him was just plain nuts with a few bolts thrown in, or lost the cheese on his cracker. Perhaps both..?
Xianto turned back to look at the boy. His face emotionless under his helm. "My emperor here is just a robotic clone with the same memories as the real one back where I came from. So it doesn't matter if you blow him up. I can always recreate him, in my eye you will never be higher than him."
Edward interrupted the two individuals.
"Gentlemen, this petty quarrel will get us nowhere." he turned towards Xianto. "Have you not heard the stories within the Rethait Empire of an individual known as 'The Eradicator?'...hmm?, you're looking at him."
He returned his gaze towards the kid and Yandela. "Sorry about this, but i need to get back to the Tardis. I've got something quite important that i could attempt. If it goes well, our journey should become slightly smoother. "

He grinned "Oh no it is, there's just a specific thing i need to do inside. Put it this way, there's more than one room within my Tardis.....far more."
Edward then noticed her concern and couldn't help smirking.
"Or wait, would you rather i stayed here?......with you......"

"I couldn't care one way or another," she mutters, glaring.
"Oh....yes, i apologize." He loosened his tie and looked towards Mars giving him an affable nod. "I suppose you can all go in search of those shards without me. When I've completed my task, i'll return."
With that, he strolled out of the building and into the darkness of the city.

Xianto turned away. "I will return to my war now." With that he too moved off. Flanked by machines into the war zone again and the sound of explosions.
Yandela's gaze shifts between Mars and the "god", her green eyes narrowed in thought.
"Looks like everyone's heading out then," Mars commented, flicking the compass back closed and putting it back in his pocket.
Edward returned to the location where the Tardis was parked by Scolopendra. He unlocked the doors with his exquisite key and stepped inside. Entering his home, he closed the doors behind him and touched the console.
A breath of relief was released. "Silence... at last."
The Interior was dark. There was hardly enough power to even turn on the lights. He walked towards the interior door and pushed it open. It displayed a long dark corridor which Edward then walked through.
The Tardis V.I appeared beside him in the form of a woman.
They both walked down the long endless corridor.
"V.I, status report."
'Atron levels at 5%, Huon levels at 3%. If i may say so sir, refueling is impossible due to the large amount of interference within the planet's atmosphere.' He nodded. "I see, ready the chameleon circuit interface. I'm going to exchange one of my regenerations for huon energy."
'Is that wise sir?',
Edward nodded once more "There is no alternative."
The V.I was silent.
"Set it up in the lab, i need to rest for a little then prepare for the transfer." They came to a halt in front of a large black wooden door.
'Good luck sir,' She walked off into the distance.
Edward opened the doors to his bedroom which contained a large king sized bed. The room was decorated in all manner of items. He removed his overcoat and threw it on the coat hanger behind the door then rolled up his sleeves to reveal his muscular arms.
He was going to give up one of his regenerations to refuel the Tardis.
Even if it worked, the Tardis still would only be at fifty percent and if the procedure failed all together, not only would he lose a regeneration, but the Tardis would go into overload, and in it's defence.
His brain would be turned into a pile of ash.
