She frowns. "What are you talking about? Where did you get the idea that I don't want you around me?"
He continued packing up his papers but then dropped the bag on the floor spilling the contents of the notebooks.
Edward broke into an outburst.
"Look. I know i shouldn't have embraced you. Truth is, i didn't know how to solve the situation.
Not once have i ever held another individual in my arms before. However, seeing you with tears in your eyes almost broke me.
In all my years alive. I have been used to solving problems either with my intelligence or raw power.
When you were behaving in that way, i had no idea what to do.
It was beyond me.
Yet somehow my natural instincts were to place my arms around you.
YES, i know it was wrong and you can continue to despise me for that but you should know that my intentions were only for the good."
He took a deep breath then knelt down to pick up his papers.
"I'm sorry. Forget everything i just said."
Edward broke into an outburst.

"Dumbass," she growls, kneeling beside Edward and collecting some papers. She rolls them up and whacks him lightly in the shoulder. "When did I ever say I hated you or it? Or even disliked it? I was surprised, yes, but that was it."
When he woke up he'd actually forgotten yesterday's doings completely. He jumped up from the bed, he'd slept way too long, now he'd probably be late. Or at least he thought so until he saw his surroundings. After a bit of confusion he rembered it all. Fired, new world, Mage, time lord, eyepatch, robots. Everything. Mars scratched his head groggily, what should he do for clothes?
"Hey, V.I?" He called out.
"Hey, V.I?" He called out.
He looked in her eyes.
"You don't seem to understand how much the affection i have for you is.
When i'm around you, i can't seem to concentrate properly. It's as if my center of attention becomes you.
Despite knowing you for such a short time Yandela.
He stared deep into her eyes.
"I think i might be in love with you."

"What should I do for clothes, V.I?" He complained to the hologram. "Also are Ed and Yan, up yet? Where are they?" He ranted off questions.
She displayed a holographic interface which Mars could interact with, it contained several outfits.
' You could try the Time Lord attire sir?
As for Master Edward and the female. They are located within the console room.

"..." She swallows, then curls her magic around herself, warping reality around herself to fool Edward's eyes. Yandela shoots to her feet and bolts for the TARDIS doors, trailing invisibility magic behind her sloppily. In seconds she's outside, shaking horribly. Yandela sinks against the side of the box, trying to resist the oncoming breakdown.
Why doesn't he get it? I'm dangerous. I'm broken. And I won't infect anyone else with my problems.

She had disappeared.
Edward Sighed.
"Stupid. Stupid. Edward."
He stood up, packed the bag and disappeared into the Tardis corridors, headed for the library.

Yandela gave careful thought to her situation. She had once been forced to turn on her own best friend... And if the time arose that someone occurred where it was kill or be killed again... She didn't want Mars and Edward caught up with that.
The feelings that Edward had begun stirring were entirely out of the question. The pain that arose when she had been forced to stain her hands with Dayal's blood had been incredible, and if she found herself paired against Edward... She wouldn't recover. Even if it were Mars, who she had fallen into a quick, familiar bond reminiscent to that of the ones she held with her own siblings... Or even Dayal...
No. She wouldn't let it happen.

Within the library, he placed his bag on the floor, collected his long dark overcoat and exited the room.
As he walked through the corridor, blank-faced, he equipped the outfit and tightly placed his watch on his left hand.
The console room was silent as the Tardis continued to hum in harmony despite all that had happened.
Edward's jacket was so long it touched the metallic floor.
Without saying anything, he unlocked the Tardis door.
As he stepped out, the Time Lord observed the scene to see if Yandela was anywhere to be found but was met with nothing but empty fields.
He sighed and shut the exterior doors, making sure to not lock it.
With his hands in his pockets, the slow trek to the city began.

Yandela watched as Edward began trudging off and stood, chasing after him. With her invisibility spell still in place, she walked alongside him, and began to speak.
"Once upon a time, there was a happy little girl, who, despite her poor surroundings, was happy with her family. Slowly, due to their conditions, the girl's family died off one by one, and the girl forgot what it was like to be happy. Even when she had been adopted into a noble family for her magical gifts, she still couldn't quite remember what it was like to be happy, although she eventually grew content. Then, one day, her home went up in flames, literally."
Here she paused, continuing to walk beside Edward.

With his face still being expressionless and yet, slightly unhappy he continued walking.
"I wish i could understand her pain. Yet every chance i am given to display my true feelings. She reverts to the shadows. Rendering my feelings to be nothing more than a stupid dream."

She frowns, but forges on with her story.
"The girl was found in the ashes of the nobles' house, and it was presumed that she had lost control of her magic- for it was known that fire was a favorite of the young girl, as it had been the lack thereof that ha stolen some o her family- and had burned the mansion down. True or not, the people didn't care, and was quite relieved when the girl and the only one who had stuck beside her vanished from the streets. What they didn't know was who had snatched her up."
Her voice began trembling, but she carried on. "The most famous of slave traders couldn't resist having such a treat at his side. A child who was gifted with magic, who he could mold as he pleased... The only problem was the girl's friend, who was not gifted in such a manner and could only perform the most basic of spells. She was determined a liability. And so the little girl, a mere seven years old, was trained for years, and pitted against her own best friend in a fight to the death, entertainment for their captors. Her friend, knowing who would win and not wanting the girl's life to go to waste, attacked, forcing the little girl to respond in kind in order to defend..."

"Okay! Sounds like a plan then." Mars said pressing on the time lord option
"It sounds like an awful life.
So the girl murdered her own best friend?,
What was her reward."

"...life in chains, of course," Yandela chuckles bitterly. "But to preserve my own life... I killed the only one who was a constant, someone who loved me. I'm a despicable person."
Yandela stops walking. "And that's why I have to go. I... I can't allow myself to get caught up in romance, or any kind of close bond. So... Just. Take care of Mars for me. I was considering testing his magical ability, but... Maybe he'll be better with that sword you gave him."

Mars inspected himself and his new attire. Hilarious. He even combed his hair nearly to fit the image. He tied his sword to his hip and set off. He'd have like to explore the faux city a bit, but he held off for awhile. "Hey, V.I. Can you take me to the others?"
Edward turned to face the invisible woman.
He held her hands.
"Yandela. LOOK around you.
Your captors arent here.
This isn't your home world."
Even though the view in from of him was invisible, he somehow looked directly within her eyes.
"Besides. I've told you this before.
I'm here."
He tried to laugh.
"Now i'm not sure how powerful these captors of yours were but would you pit them up against the last of the Time Lords. Edward Hudacious?, huh?"
He smiled.
"Listen to my words Yandela."
"As long as i am here.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing will happen to you."
He held her hands.
