His expression didn't change.
"Yandela. I'm not a child. I came here to rescue you and in turn i was killed."
He stared directly into her eyes.
"It's fair enough, you don't understand just exactly what has happened to me so i'll cut it short.
My other heart has been burned out.
Sure, if i get to my Tardis and withdraw all my regeneration energy i could possibly return to my full powered state but the fact is.
Right now, i'm nothing but a human.
Do you know how that makes me feel?"
Though his eyes were plain, weakness could be distinctly heard from his voice.
It sounded almost as though he was about to burst into tears.
"I came here to save you and ended up being the one who needed saving. Now i've lost everything. My feet are in pain, my arms are in agony and i'm practically not even a Time Lord.
The thing i have been so proud about this whole time.
Since i first arrived on this planet there was one thing i could always rely on.
Though the people around me may have had all sorts of powers and abilities, for example, did you know that the eye-patch man is an extraordinary swordsman?, Though i may not want to admit it, i am nothing compared to him in the art of the sword.
Then there's you who can literally shoot fire out of your palms.
You could turn me into a pile of dust if you so wished.
I'm not even going to mention the twelve year old kid who isn't even the size of a beer barrel yet calls himself a god and has the powers to prove it.
Each and every one of these people are more impressive than me but at the end of the day, i could always use the excuse that they were not Time Lords.
Now, I have only one heart.
I'm nothing more than a hyper intelligent human.
So excuse me for not being happy about being humiliated in every possible way."
He turned his back on the duo.

He turned his back on the duo.
"And you can scratch intelligent off that list, too, especially if you keep thinking like that," Yandela spits. "What do you take Mars and I for? You don't need to be extraordinary. You don't need to be a Time Lord. You don't need to have a fancy box, or two hearts, or full health. Just let us help you, and consider us on your level. You're worth more than all that."
She extends her hand. "Now cmon. Please."
She extends her hand. "Now cmon. Please."
He scoffs.
This girl was strange.
Accepting her hand, he somehow was able to get upon the horse. Though the space was too tight for comfort, it was bearable.
If the Time Lords of Arcadia could see him now.
"Follow the dirt road."

Yandela grins happily. "I can do that."
She twists her wrist, making the weight easier for the mare beneath them to bear as she urges the horse on. And maybe she might have added an extra charm in there to make sure no one falls off.

For the most of the ride, Edward was silent.
She still did not pass him a word of gratitude but it was indirectly hinted.
Still, a simple thank you wouldn't have hurt.
"The Tardis isn't too far off."

"Good, this is the worst possible sandwich, ever made." Mars said grimly.
"I could always knock you off," Yandela muses. "Then it won't be a sandwich anymore."
Mars scoffed. "That'd be knocking off the best part. I'm the meat of this little catastrophe. Without me, all that's left is bread. No one wants an all bread sandwich." He retorted
"Please," Yandela teases. "You're more of the relish everyone could do without."
Mars grimaced "I hate relish. Just for that now you're the crust that gets cut off."
"At least the crust in nutritious!" She shoots back, halting the mare beside the TARDIS.
It was almost night time as they arrived at their location.
Edward quickly dismounted the horse, he had only spoke once during the entire journey and kept up the same attitude as he walked towards the Tardis.
Unlocking the Tardis doors, he entered the vast machine and inhaled a breath of steamy mechanical air.
He was home.
Without saying a word to either Yandela or Mars he moved up to the console, turned a control dial and made way for the inner doors.
Before turning into the corridor he stopped to give the duo a quick look.
"Your rooms are still open if you remember the way there.
The kitchen is back there to the right."
He teared his face from them.
"I've made my decision, after i am fully healed, i'll be leaving this world and returning to my universe."
As if on cue, the automatic inner doors closed at that same moment.
Edward walked down the long corridor and took a turn for the left - heading in the direction of the Zero room.
"V.I, i need you."

Yandela gazed sadly after Edward's hasty exit, tugging the hairpin from her hair and twirling it nervously.
If only he'd've given me a moment...
If only he'd've given me a moment...
Mitsuki stared at the weird machine in front of him, and entered. Hey, there really wasn't anything stopping him, was there? The boy just wandered across the room like it was no big deal, inspecting the place. He didn't really understand how the thing worked, although he had sworn he'd seen it on those machines called 'T.V's back where he had brought Mars from.
'Yes Master?' V.I answered as she materialized into her holographic form.
"Firstly, drop the basic mode."
She obliged instinctively.
They walked together in the hallway.
"Now listen carefully.
My left heart has been crushed.
Do the calculations, how long would it take for it to be recreated if i was to use the Zero room?"
V.I quickly scanned Edward.
'Did you go ahead and do something stupid again?'
He didn't answer.
At times, V.I behaved as that of an overprotective wife.
'It was definitely because of that female, correct?'
"I asked you a question V.I.
I'm expecting an answer."
She was silent for a few minutes then returned her gaze to him.
'If you're completely recreating the heart then it'd take at least thirteen thousand years.
Each thousand for the regenerations you merged.'
Edward himself was now silent.
"Fine. I'll do it."
V.I seemed surprised.
'You do realize that despite the Zero room's capabilities, i'd be able to preserve your body so no aging takes place, However, to the rest of the ship, you'd be away for thirteen whole hours.'
"That's perfect."
She was silent.
The automatic doors of the Zero room opened.
He was inside.
The Zero room was a room created by the Time Lords specifically to help with the process of regeneration or rapid healing.
In order for it to be successful, it was separated from the Tardis.
Or in other words. The Zero room is it's own dimension.
Inside the room, the laws of physics were absent.
Edward could levitate, think much clearer and even walk properly.
'Are you ready sir?'
"Never been better."
She tilted her head at him as he lay on the middle bed.
'You'll be away for 13 hours in the outside world.'
He laughed.
"See you in 13 thousand years."
She nodded and exited the room.
As he lay in the bed on his back with his arms crossed like that of a corpse, the light of the Zero room slowly dimmed to darkness and the room was shut.

"Oh, hey," Yandela starts, surprised as the kid waltzes in front of her. "You're here. Um. Hello."
With her master asleep for 13 hours, V.I was put in control of the ship.
A strange kid had waltzed into the interior, though she could depower him and everybody else inside the Tardis easily, she chose not to.
The best choice would be to set the Tardis to sleep until it's master returned.
And with that, The console immediately shut off along with every doorway that didn't lead to the bedrooms and kitchens.
The waiting had begun.

Yandela jumped as everything shut off around them. She fumbled her way to the nearest stable surface- the control panel met her hands- and from there judged the distance to the wall.
"What happened? Is everyone okay?"
"What happened? Is everyone okay?"
Scolopendra breaks through to a large cavern, his labor finally proving useful. Looking around, there was machinery lying everywhere, nuts and bolts strewn across the place. But the most noticeable feature of this mechanized underground facility were the hordes of unpowered robots. And they looked all too familiar.
"...Looks like I found were that robot freak has been hiding all along."
He lifts his sword up and wearily scours the area, stealthily looking around him. The lines of soldiers seemed to be deactivated. Up on a wall was a panel with a big red button.
"Well, you know curiosity only makes you stronger, and what doesn't kill that cat makes you stronger..."
He smashes the button.
"...Oh wait that wasn't how the saying went...Wasn't it that curiosity killed the cat?"
The hordes of metal soldiers implode in on themselves, sucking into nothingness. It was as if they never existed, with a empty space where they all had been. All was quiet for a full second. Time stood still, and Scolopendra felt shivers run down his spine. His primal instincts told him to run, but he forced himself to stay in place. Suddenly an alarm starts blaring and a distant rumbling was heard. It was not an earthquake. It were footsteps. Hundreds upon thousands of footsteps. Looks like robo boy had been very busy. Scolopendra gripped his sword tightly until his knuckles turned white and faced the entrance.
"Perhaps having an army wouldn't hurt after all, little boy."
Scolopendra had clearly underestimated this man, and he may have made a big mistake.

"Maybe it's conserving energy?" Mars guessed. He walked over to Yandela and Mitsuki. "Well, at least we're not trapped in this one spot," he pointed to the still accessible hallways.
