"I suppose you're right..." Yandela frowns, even as she twirls her staff to incite a nice, blue glow from the gem in the top. "But where's Ed? I mean... What if he's stuck in the dark too?"
V.I appeared in front of the trio.
This time her thoughts of acting like a basic hologram were squandered as she freely revealed her true personality.
She passed a judgemental glance at Yandela and Mars.
'Master Edward is in the Zero room healing himself.
The process is long, he'll be asleep for thirteen thousand years.
V.I thought about explaining the fact that it'd only be thirteen hours in the real world but decided to leave it as a test of morality.
V.I, though her name stood for Virtual Intelligence, was modelled after a young woman Edward met hundreds of years ago.
Duchess Victoria Inderlen.
With a clear glance at Yandela the hologram lied through her illuminated teeth.
'Before Edward was put in stasis, he informed me of the lack of affection he felt for you.
For any you.
Now you can obviously stay here for 12 hours but I want you both to be gone by the time he wakes up.
Seeing you two would only delay our exit of this universe and frankly I dislike it.'
She looked at the console monitor and immediate locations began to pop up.
'That's the location of the Eye-patch individual as well as a horde of powerful robots.
I'll leave it on so you can take a note of it.'
With her arms folded she asked the final question.
'So what'll it be?, stay here for 12 hours then go, or just go now?'

Yandela's eyes narrow and she frowns, crossing her arms. "That doesn't make sense... He's been pretty clear about any affection he's had for me since the moment he's begun feeling it. He gave Mars his personal sword. I understand that he's upset because I had to basically bully him into coming back here, but I couldn't just leave him! He'd just died!"
"..Leave..? Ahaha... What a great joke you got there, reminds me of the Doc..." The boy laughed. "But seriously.. Does he think I'd let him leave..? Does he think he just can..?"
Xianto too heard the alarms from much further underground. It seems someone has run into the other group of robots up there that looked like exact clones of mine. It felt like they were guarding something however when he had seen them he had partially frozen up unable to think properly, these were exact copies of his yet they would not obey him, he couldn't fight like that. It was a fear he had harboured. However he had retreated when his emperor told him to. Instead they had gone much much deeper underground to work on a different project. It had taken them all this time just to build ten machines of the new type. His other machines had also been mostly working on these new robots so they had not really grown in numbers. So he new let them go off and build more of their numbers while he sat there.
His emperor slowly walked up to him and spoke. "I think you should help whoever is up there. The number of machines there was phenomenal and it would give us an opportunity to test out the capabilities of these new machines." Xianto nodded and selecting one of his clones gave him and his the machines orders to find and assist the people fighting against the machines. They all began drilling upwards collectively at an extremely quick speed towards where the alarms were.

V.I's face was blank and expressionless as usual.
'And who's fault was that - that he died?.
Do as you wish, i won't stop you, but if any of you really care about him, you'd be smart enough to distance yourselves.'
She turned towards the egotistical kid.
She had scanned him 20 times since he entered the Tardis but it was strange.
The database couldn't display anything about him.
It was almost as if he didn't exist.
'As I've already said, Edward understood the task of collecting the seven shards which is specifically why it is important to find the eye-patch individual and the massive robot army behind him.' She pointed to the console monitor.

What the hell? First of all, he was surprised by the fact that he was being ordered around by a freaking computer, she'd had really better stop acting like the red queen before Mars started smashing things just to get rid of her. "Somehow I find it hard to believe that Edward would want us to do that while he's resting. I guess you'd understand if you'd seen the way he reacted when he thought he'd failed to protect Yan." And if you weren't a computer generated female dog "It's whatever though. What do you think about going to find that guy, Yan?"
V.I looked at the clock.
Somehow, the process was speeding up.
It was as if Edward was forcing his body to adapt far quicker than expected.
She returned her gaze to the duo.
'Your ignorance towards me is mind boggling. No matter, you both stand here, in the middle of the Tardis console room, one wielding a Time Lord sword - sheathed within a Time Lord robe.
The other having regeneration energy inside her.
You've taken enough from Edward don't you say?,
and now you refuse to let him rest.'
She walked towards the inner doors.
'Good luck finding him.'
The hologram disappeared once more.

"'Was gonna let him rest," Yandela mutters. She glances at Mars, bewildered. "I'm... I'm not leaving. I still need to thank him, not that he stuck around long enough for that to happen..."
She shakes her head.
"Anyways. I'll be right outside. I've gotta think a bit."
She shakes her head.

The Tardis lit up in an instant.
Every control became active. Every light began flashing, the steamy air became fresh.
The inner doors opened to reveal Edward flipping his sonic screwdriver in the air and a slice of toast in the other hand.
He took a bite from the toast and walked forward.
Looking at the Mars and the kid he frowned.
"Were you really going to let her walk outside in the cold with no jacket?
I'm disappointed."
He pulled his long black coat from the hanger and threw it to Yandela.
"If you must go, take that."
The Time Lord walked down the stairs still in his sleeping clothes.
"After thirteen thousand years of sleeping, is it strange that the first thing i want to do is create a new V.I?"

Yandela absently caught the coat and slid it around her body, frowning. "Considering it's been only about thirty minutes? I think it might be regrded as a little strange, but perhaps a new record of some sort."
She steps closer to Edward, glancing over him worriedly. "You're alright? She was saying it would take several hours to do... Whatever it was."

"She was also saying how incredibly insignificant we are to you. What's up with that?" Mars questioned
"It surprised me too.
Earlier on, when i asked her how long the period would take outside of the room, she answered with thirteen hours.
Recreating a heart would not take anymore than ten minutes if the Zero room was calibrated properly.
Heck, my father was able to do it in less than a minute.
I've now come to the conclusion that V.I's been compromised. Her original personality has taken over the holographic form which is why I've shut her off until i can create a new one."
He looked at Mars.
"I'm not sure i quite follow?
That reminds me, i should probably apologize for my behavior earlier on. In case you couldn't tell, i was incredibly irritated."
The Time Lord finished off the last piece of toast by divulging it into his mouth.
"As for the task, i'll help you both get the shards but when that's done, and with permission from the kid here, i should be leaving this place."
He was going to apologize to Yandela for all the romantic advancements he made towards her but thought it best to not embarrass the girl in front of Mars and the little God.

"..." Yandela frowns and pivots on her heel, Edward's coat flying around her as she exits the TARDIS.
Edward grinned as she exited the room.
He turned to Mars and the young boy.
"Just how attractive is she?"
He hoped they would join in the banter.

Mars snickered "Eh, she ain't all that great," he waved off. "She loses points for being stubborn." He input "No offense." He tacked that on just in case Yan was still in earshot. "Hey, can you make a cool butler as you're VN this time? Some wise-cracking old man. Perhaps with a British accent?"
Edward laughed.
"Hmm i don't know. That pink hair and friendly eyes is something i simply can't forget."
He gave Mars a pat on the back.
"I was thinking of making one that looked like Yandela but lacked the attitude."
Edward couldn't resist bursting into laughter
"I'm joking!,
But in all seriousness, i always prefer making a female V.I
It's simply more interesting."

"For all the space inside the TARDIS," Yandela muses mentally from on top of the police box, making a mental note to poison the next meal she makes for the two of them, "These walls are really thin.
Edward grinned.
Though she was outside he knew she could hear him.
"You know, I've met an immense amount of women from over ten thousand races.
None have looked or had a personality as nice as Yandela's.
She's simply perfect."

Yandela's eyes narrow, even as heat rushes to her cheeks. She twirls a stand of purple hair around her finger. "Wasn't he just saying otherwise...?"
