"Sometimes it just takes common sense." Yandela frowns and steps a little closer. "You're destroying the natural habitats of creatures you may not even know exist, in a world you're unfamiliar with. Not everything is made to be urbanized."
The armoured man looked down at him from under his massive layers of steam fired armour. "I have to uphold my duty to my nation. My honour was lost when I left my comrades to die from where I came from." He turned around and finished off another robot which began cutting down more trees. "It is my duty."
"...We are not even on the same PLANET!" Yandela takes a deep breath to calm herself. "What kind of logic is that? You didn't leave them anymore than I-" she cuts herself off. "Look, I highly doubt any of us knew what we were doing when we agreed to that kid's question, right?"
"What does planets have to do with it? My duty to the empire is still my duty, that is the oath I swore when I became one of the seven regalias of the Rethait empire. No matter where I go, I have to honour this."
(censored profanity because how rage inducing can one guy be?)
"In case you haven't noticed, and it seems like you haven't" Mars gritted out "Here is not there!" He finished "There is no "duty" in another ******g world!" He raised his voice. This mans logic was just so infuriatingly stupid he couldn't contain it."Planets have everything to do with it..." He calmed down a bit and rubbed his temples.

"You didn't answer my question." She huffs, crossing her arms. "What is there to gain by doing this anyways?"
"Gain? The main thing to gain is my honour. I have lost it and I want it back." He went silent for a few seconds while he built another one which when finished began assembling more of them slowly. "It seems your sense of duty is not like mine then. I pledged my loyalty to the emperor and swore to uphold the empire. That pledge to do my duty goes beyond any world boundaries. I will go about my orders."
"Tch." Yandela shakes her head. "It appears you're no better than the drones you're making with your own hands."
She sends out a burst of concentrated magic from her palm to knock the tools from his hands. "You will gain no honor here from anyone if you continue this route! You will not be recognized by the leaders of your country, nor your comrades, nor us. You are doing this for nothing."

The tools on him retracted back inside his armour. Giving a more human look, "it does not matter if my emperor does not recognise me. I am fulfilling the pledge I swore to him, I will stay loyal to him and that pledge forever."
Edward gave a sigh of relief.
Finally some space.
He reached into his pockets which like his father's, were bigger on the inside and brought out 15 large A3 sized papers.
He began to write complicated algorithms and calculations on them.
After each paper was completed, he pinned them on the walls. Some even on the ceiling.
He had written calculations that would take civilizations millions of years to complete in several minutes.
Staring at his finished product, he tried to figure out what was causing the Tardis to De-Sync.
He started prancing around the room.
"Alright."
"A Tardis can travel anywhere in Time and Space."
"Yet why can it not travel here. What's so special about this place."
He looked out the window.
"It can't be a pocket dimension like the one father trapped Gallifrey in."
"So what exactly is the big picture."
He had his left arm folded while the other hand was on his chin.
It then hit him.
He turned back to the calculations.
"So if the Tardis can't materialize here, that means this location is outwith the temporal rift locations."
"But that's simply not possible."
"That would mean that we are outside of reality all together."
He laughed.
"It's simply not possible..."
"However, i should make some adjustments to these algorithms. It wouldn't hurt."
He began writing frantically on every spare sheet of paper he could find, Even writing on the plain white walls of the hotel room.
When he was done, the entire room, from the door, floor to the ceiling was covered in complex calculations and algorithms.
"You have got to be bloody kidding me."
"We're completely out of space and time."
"B-But, if this is true, How on earth are we able to breathe, talk, even think."
"There must be a power source."
"However, If there is one, that would have to mean that it was created by a race who arguably could rival the intelligence of the Time Lords."
"Wow."
"This is...."
"Astonishing."
He started to laugh
"It's actually kind of funny actually."
He looked up to the ceiling.
"Do you hear me?"
"Little boy?"
"I know your secret."
He jumped on the bed like a child and continued to bounce.
"Do you know what happen's when a Time Lord finds a secret weakness?"
"Take a big guess"
There was no response.
"Still hiding from me are we?"
"Well i'll just have to ruin the surprise and tell you."
"So what do Time Lords do when they figure out a weakness?"
He brought out his sonic screwdriver, tweaked the frequency and aimed it at the ceiling.
Without haste he activated the device.
"We exploit it."
An incredibly huge bang was heard in the sky.
It was so loud that the whole world could have heard it.
He put the sonic screwdriver back inside his front pocket.
It had been completed.
He wouldn't say any word of this to anyone else. It would be best to just observe the situation first.
Only he knew.
That above the skies of the planet. Deep in space. A dimensional tear had occurred.
Now closed, it left behind one mistake.
The Tardis.

The Tardis.
Mars nodded at her point. He didn't feel the need to be angry as the girl had handled that part already. So he tried reasoning "Look, I know this whole honor thing is important to you. Forgive me if I'm wrong but you're probably doing this more for yourself than your nation. You're a smart guy, you have to be in order to be able to build this.." he motioned to all the robots. "..from scratch. You must know that your leaders will never find out about your loyalty. Even if they do, do you believe that they'll believe you? As you've said before, you're, for lack of better words, disgraced. Would they really even give you the time of day anymore?" Mars tried to deliver this reasonably, without at all pitying the man. He knew this man didn't need pity, he needed a wake up. "Don't waste your new life on this," he concluded with a shrug. Whether or not the man took his words to heart was completely up to him.
Xianto looked at him then looked away. "You are right I am partially doing this for myself. However for me it matters not if they never know, I need to complete my duty to my emperor. I swore to him my eternal allegiance, I can never betray him. Not him." He turned away and went back to building another machine alongside the other building robot.
"...I've gotta go before I destroy more forest than he is," she spits, pivoting and marching off.
Mars gave a small smile at the man's reply and shrugged. "There's something to be said about sticking to your beliefs and companions, I suppose," he said amiably. He turned on his heel and followed his companion into the forest. "Make sure you keep that fortitude, it's an admirable trait in small doses," he called with a wave over his shoulder.
Yandela storms through the forest, muttering calming spells beneath her breath. "Does he not think its wrong to just destroy homes and lives because of his HONOR!?"
And thus, three groups have formed...
...The unstable but dynamic duo of a Gallifreyan and a renegade mercenary...
...The normal yet completely extraordinary combo of two people with the knowledge of deception...
...And a dude building a bunch of robots in the middle of nowhere.

Xianto watched them leave then went back to building more and more robots slowly building up the number or workers inside the group. Each of them seeming to possess none yet quite a lot of intelligence. Personally he couldn't care less what others said, it would never affect his loyalty to his emperor.
Mars rushed after his companion, or she would be if he could catch her. It'd be doubly bad if he lost her. For one he'd never get out of the forest alone, and for two he'd be stuck with the emperor's left-hand man. Which wasn't a good trade off in his book. He did catch up to her, thankfully. Here's the thing, he thought about putting a hand on her shoulder to stop her but... The last time he did something of that sort it ended in a judo flip. So yelling sufficed "Hey, wait up! Do you even know where you're going!?"
"No," she answers shortly. "what I also don't know is who you are, who that kid was, how I got here, what here IS, and what I'm doing!"
She calls her little compass to a stop, turning to face her companion. "Any... Any ideas?"

Frowning at the outburst he went with his usual neutral reply; a shrug. "Well let's tackle that one at a time, yeah? First off I'm Mars, nice to meet you. Second, I have no clue either, but what I do know is he's the one who got us all here, obviously. What you're doing now is freaking out, calm down a bit. Let's be rational about it okay?" He said simply, answering all her questions.
