"O-oh, I see.. W-well, sorry to hear that. Hope Aelore ain't given you too much trouble- Like I said, the others are doing stuff to my world. It doesn't help one bit, considering how-..." The boy paused to think for a second, "how bad the winter's plagued them so far... And now they're preparing for another Season of Hell.."
"Season of Hell...?" Yandela leans against the counter, running a quick sanitizing spell over the apple (she had no know where it had been, after all) and biting into it.
"Yeah, or, in other words, another long, cold winter. Wish I could provide food, but... My own 'miracles' have to wait for now... But seeing as this is... Many people have already died from the disease, and now...."
Yandela frowns. "Is it just you and the other gods that have magic or...? Everyone else you've pulled into this thing is very not... Magic based. Is that a usual thing?"
The boy looks away in response to her question. "I-I... There is a quite a bit of magic users, but they can't really perform spells all too well. But generally, yeah, we're pretty much the only ones. However, I did hope that I brought quite a few skilled magic users, but as it seems, you're all I snagged..." Mitsuki said in an almost dishearted tone.
"Hmm..." Yandela twirls a strand of hair around her finger as she thinks. "Which means that if im going to do something about easing the weather conditions it's gonna take a hell of a lot of energy..."
"Y-yeah, and, we-well.." The boy stepped forward and wrapped one arm around her. "I am truly grateful, you know..."
Yandela smiled, playfully patting his head, commenting teasingly, "Still have different deities to worship."
The boy looks away in annoyance. "Yeah, well the others can just go kiss my ass..."
"The ones from my world, silly." She shrugs. "Then again, those usually don't mingle with the mortals, so I barely even know what constitutes as a deity anymore."
"Yeah, who knows? I might've met 'em. I'm the only deity of this world, and as I've mentioned before, Heaven serves as a meeting place. One of the reasons the others resent me is because I interact with my people. They say it'll make them give into sin more, but..." He closes his eyes, "...They really haven't done anything too bad."
"...what kind of logic is that?" Yandela laughs. "If anything, wouldn't that enable us mere mortals to feel more attached to the deity? There are people where I come from that have begun to absolutely refuse to believe in our gods and goddesses because we've seen no sign of them in years."
"Of course! It's a part of my character, read the sheet," Mars muttered that last bit to himself. "Anyways! Did you find anything Ed?"
Slowly making his way through the rough surface Edward spotted the large unnatural piece of rock placed directly in the middle of the moon which the sonic screwdriver had detected.
"This way."
Though the Gravity was difficult to navigate through, they made it to the large rock.
Engraved in the rock were ancient mystical writings, probably from Mitsuki's race.
Slowly feeling the surface of the rock, Edward was able to find the secret activator.
" As I thought, it's a false panel.
Give me a hand here Mars!, I'm absolutely certain that there are two shards in here."
If he was right, they would be much closer to the end of their journey,
And he could make that wish!.
However, this was almost too easy.

"I don't know...seems like a trap." Despite his words he went around and helped Edward. Because...it's not like there was anything else to do. So why not do something that could possibly get them killed? "Just so you know, if something happens I'm sacrificing you." What else were friends for, if not that?
Edward grinned as they both pulled back the heavy panel releasing the hidden compartment of the rock.
"You do realise that I'm rated as one of the most deadliest beings back home in our universe?, you should be proud to call me a friend."
The panel fell off displaying two large boxes.
One red and one blue.
Inside one of these boxes was a shard.
"Well shave my hair and call me Texan, I knew it wouldn't be easy.

"So what your saying is...you're like a poison dart frog? I knew it!" Edward did have a rather amphibious vibe about him. He eyed the boxed "Hmm, I pick red!" He reached in haphazardly to pick up the red box.
"None of the boxes are giving off a reading so it's a 50/50 chance that there could be danger in that box."
Edward stood back to let Mars have a go at the mystery.
" You go straight ahead, there could be a bomb or something in that box.
I can't die yet, if I do that young God will try to steal Yan and my Tardis.
Good luck."
He took ten steps away from Mars then turned to watch the outcome.

Mars glanced at the man who'd distanced himself. "Don't be such a baby. Didn't you nearly die earlier? Now you're as good as new." He turned his attention back to the box. He pointed it away from his face just in case something flew out of it. Though while doing so he "accidentally" pointed it straight at Edward. Served him right for being a scaredy cat. Then he opened the box, without any hesitation.
He opened the box without hesitation.
Fortunately for the duo, the item inside was not of deadly properties.
It was a note.
Quickly bracing himself, Edward walked back to the boy holding the box and took the note out as though it were his right.
While fixing his helmet calibration, he began to read the note.
'Greetings creature.
We couldn't help but notice that you have been following Mitsuki's instructions in finding the shards.
I hope you realise what he plans to do when you have successfully gathered all seven.
Yes...
He plans to defeat us.
Well we wouldn't expect anything less from a deity who interacts with his servants.
Yes. You are his servants.
Nothing more, once he collects all seven shards, you'll all be turned into piles of dried meat.
However, if you collect all the shards and wish to help us eliminate the boy himself then you simply need to accept our token of friendship within the blue box.'
As if on command, the other box opened revealing a slightly larger and brighter shard.
Edward returned his gaze to the letter and continued reading.
'This shard isn't one of the requested ones you were asked to collect but it will be absolutely crucial in defeating Mitsuki when the time comes.'
The size of the writing became enlarged at the last few lines.
If you refuse to accept our shard, we will simply find another way.
If you accept, then we will grant you the same wish you were promised.'
The Time Lord glanced at the large shard in silence and passed the letter over to Mars.
