"...I know, right..? Yet those fools believe they're 'almighty and wise' and I should go 'take a hike before I do anything stupid'... Ugh... And they all give yah rules of what's right and wrong, yet they use temptation to get mortals to 'stop my treacherous activity'... Trying to sin against me when we don't even exist in the same Universes..." The boy sighed.
Yandela shrugs, then stretches. "I don't even know. I'm gonna turn in."
Mars grinned "That's exactly what I was thinking. It may not be our universe's moon. But space travel is space travel." He said "Too bad we couldn't go to Mar, for some good old name irony."
"Maybe when this is all over, I'll take you there on a friendly vacation.
However we'd better get back to the Tardis.
Stand back and watch this."
Edward released his sonic screwdriver and held down the large button.
In an instant, the Tardis, floating above the moon raced towards the duo with its incredible speed smashing a few asteroids along the way.
"As I said before, it can't land on the terrain so I've sent it flying in our direction.
I'm only going to say this once.
When it gets close enough, jump.
It's definitely not going to decrease in speed so IF you fail to jump at the right time, there's a heavy chance you could clash with the force of the ship and then....
Well , you've studied physics in school right?,
force equals mass multiplied by acceleration.
Assume that force is an infinite dimension packed into one box and your body collides with it.
Yeah. It'll hurt alright."
The Tardis was now in sight and the doors opened as it drew nearer to the duo with its vast speed.
"Alright Mars!, here we go....
JUMP."

Meanwhile back on the planet Xianto had destroyed legions of the opposition machines and was nearing the room they had been protecting. Loudly he drilled at the wall to the room on one side, making sure he was going slow enough so that all the machines inside could hear him and long enough that it would be able to mask one of his machines quietly drilling in from the other side. Suddenly there was the noise of a few explosions a hail of bullets then silence. With a hefty kick Xianto broke down the rest of the wall and stepped inside where two of his machines saluted him while several other destroyed robots lay broken on the ground.
In the centre of the room was a box and inside was a crystal. As he did so he thought to himself. I have no trust in that boy as such I think it would be best if I never let him have this stone. With that he slotted it into a compartment inside himself then proceeded to leave the room ordering his machines to pull out. They had got what they came for.

Seriously? Why did it have to be approaching so fast? Was is impossible to make it sail by on a nice drift instead of, you know...light speed?! It would be fine though, he'd jumped onto cars before, this was exactly the same thing...well close enough. Mars readied himself and, on Ed's command, jumped.
"Ah, alright. Don't mind if I joined yah later still, do yah?" The boy's ears twitched before he began scratching his neck.
The duo successfully made it into the ship with the aid of their honed dexterity.
Upon collecting it's two passengers, the Tardis doors closed and it was sent spiralling up to space before returning to it's gentle drift mode.
"Well that's that" Edward said removing his suit helmet.
"I've got quite a lot of work to do, and
I still haven't written the program for my new V.I as well as recalibrating a bunch of systems."
He grinned then began walking towards the inner doors.
"Let me know if you need anything."
The Time Lord then disappeared into the darkness of the hallway.

While his landing was sketchy at best, the jolt of the Tardis, madd him fall over and consequently faceplant. Technically not, he was wearing a helmet after all. But it did rattle him a little. "You're a true friend Edward." He said as the man walked by him. Well he recovered from that soon enough, after a bit of self-pitying. He shed of the suit, and went about his own business. Mainly snooping apround the Tardis. He probably shouldn't press any kind of buttons but....Edward was going to calibrate it anyway so it probably didn't matter..probably.
Stripping off the suit and placing it inside a panel in the corridor, Edward observed the shard before putting it inside his back pocket.
Though his work wouldn't take too long, he decided to check up on Yandela and the young God who were probably still in the kitchen.
It was a gamble at best. Who knew how the kid would react when placed in the presence of that shard.
For all Ed knew, it might not even affect him.
Regardless, it was worth a shot.
With his hands comfortably in his pockets, Edward entered the kitchen once more.
"Je suis un croissant!!,
Err, I'm pretty sure that's how you say hello in french."
He sauntered over to Yandela and gave her a gentle peck on the cheek with the intention of making the kid jealous.
"Did I miss anything?"

"Too late to back out whether I did or didn't care, yeah?" Yandela chuckles nervously. "Just keep your hands to yourself."
That's about when Ed pulls his schtick. Her cheeks flood red and she sucks her head. "A-ah... Uhm..."

If Edward's grin had gotten any bigger, he would have been mistaken for Scolopendra.
This situation was absolutely perfect and contained two main objectives.
One - Observe the kid's reaction to the shard. How he responds will dictate the next steps Ed should perform.
Two - It was simple to see he wanted Yandela, so there was no shame in Edward overly expressing his feelings towards her in front of the boy.
Jealously can have great consequences.
Or in this case, great opportunities.
Besides, she looked absolutely divine when she blushed, who wouldn't fall for her?
"Doesn't sound like you're impressed with my french.
It took me ten years to learn that you know.
Wait a second.....
You don't even know what french is do you?...." He said looking genuinely bewildered.
"Sorry I haven't slept in about two weeks. There's just too much work to be done."

"No, but I understood it anyways," Yandela mutters, quickly looking away to hide her flushed cheeks. "I meant to bring that up, actually. Care to explain why I now have a secondary presence in my head? I have no clue what French is and I still understood something about bread."
It was quite unnerving, actually. She hated telepathic beings in her head, and even if this one didn't feel necessarily alive, there was a certain... Sentience to it.

"Ah, that's the Tardis translating for you.
Actually that just reminded me of something I've been meaning to talk to you about.
It's pretty big so I'd prefer to talk to you in private." He glanced over at Mitsuki.
"No offence mate, I'd rather have her hear this without the added ears of another individual."
His gaze returned to her eyes once more.
"We don't have to talk now, you two seem like you're having a serious conversation and I'm not one for interruptions.
When you want to talk, you'll let me know right?"

"Um... We can talk now, I suppose," Yandela mutters, catching her hair between her fingers and beginning to twirl it. "I was actually about to turn in for the night, so my conversation here with Mitsuki was already pretty much over..."
"It'll only be a few minutes, I promise."
He led her through the corridor to his personal study room.
It wasn't any bigger than a standard room. The condensed space helped Edward think more clearly, plus It contained algorithms and calculations of all sorts on almost every chalk board along with various theoretical sketches.
He pulled up a velvet chair for her and then began to rummage through a large pile of papers.

Yandela quietly sat down. Her eyes narrowed at the equations on the chalkboards, frustrated that she could barely even begin to comprehend.
Edward picked up a printed paper which was effectively a life sign report.
"Alright, this is it."
He handed her the paper then sat on the table and faced her.
"So how do I explain this?, err well.
You remember that awesome incident that took place?, resulting in my death?..., yes that one."
He nervously brushed his hair with his hand.
In order to give you the strength you needed to defeat that slaver, I transferred my last regeneration energy to you, which, by the way, is why I was weak enough to be killed by that attack.
The problem however, is that I can't regenerate. It's a process that lets me change my face.
So instead of eradicating my energy as it went to you, the DNA itself most likely adapted to your life sign which I assure you was NOT meant to happen."
He pointed to the paper in her hands which displayed highlighted parts of her body.
"Now this doesn't exactly mean I'm correct. Your magical power could easily have quelled the surge already but if it didn't....
Well...
There's a chance your body would accept the change.
Thus turning you into a Time Lord.
However I could be wrong!, even if it were true, it wouldn't change much, only your ability to understand certain concepts would become much easier.
That's why I need to know if anything strange has happened to you.
At all."

"..." Yandela frowns. "You... Okay. Okay hold on. Processing."
She leans back in the chair. "Basically there's a chance I'm no longer human because you pumped me full of Time Lord energy or whatever and now I'm undergoing a biological DNA change?"
Yandela calls up a small fire above her fingertips, noting how her magic aura had obtained a golden tint. "I noticed that when I performed a sanitizing spell on an apple earlier..."

"Wow, you took that much better than I expected.
But this isn't as good as you think.
There are people out there who would give their left arm at an opportunity to slice you up and experiment on your blood sample.
He looked towards his feet to protect himself from her innocent gaze.
"I've now indirectly put you in bigger danger than the one I wanted to protect you from when I gave you my energy.
I wouldn't want anyone, especially you, to be with me purely because you believe there's no other way to survive.
I could remove the energy if you wish."
