"I've always had to take things well to survive," Yandela murmurs, waving her hand through the air. Golden wisps trail behind her fingers' path. "...no. Life is a series of choices and consequences."

She grins cheekily. "If we could reverse everything we do, where's the adventure?"

"I see.
Fair enough."
He came off the table and moved closer to her.
"And you promise you aren't angry in anyway?, it's fine even if it's just a little bit of hate.
I completely understand.
However, if I didn't give you the energy who knows what would have happened.
He could have really hurt you."

"You can be so contradictory," Yandela murmurs, amused. "Saying it's okay to hate you and then trying to convince me otherwise."

He grinned,
"Of course I can, but admit it, you love me too much to hate me.
That's why my contradictions are nothing short from perfect confusions.

Now didn't you say you were going to sleep?"

Yandela's cheeks flush at his wording, but she nods, standing. "I... Yeah..."

Edward smiled nervously,
"You know, wouldn't it be better if you stayed in my room for the night?, only so I can check up on you should anything go wrong of course.
There are too many problems that could arise.
Besides, I probably won't sleep till next week, there's just far too much to do."

He hoped she wouldn't notice his senseless rambling.
"P-Plus I've got to write up a new V.I program, build a physical avatar for it, perform some Tardis upgrades, find some new clothes and....and..."
He stopped to take a breath.

"Breathe," Yandela commands, giggling. Her expression sobers quickly. "I promised Mitsuki... Damn. Why did he have to give me the puppy dog eyes?"

"Ah, I see.
Yeah t-that's cool.
I mean, my room is on the highest floor anyway, it'd take too long to walk there, plus it's most likely too cold.
I don't know what I was thinking haha."
He pulled at his collar and loosened it a little.
"It's quite hot in here today for some reason.
Anyway, I better get back to work, you have a good nights sleep Yandela."

She shakes her head, smiling softly, and heads out the door. "Goodnight, Edward. See you later."

The young boy leaned across from the girl, an eyebrow raise. "So... What was that about? Anything he found on his little journey..? I swear, he did find something... 'Cause it's throwing me off." Mitsuki sighed and continued watching the girl intently.

"I felt it too," she murmurs, crossing her arms. "Some kind of power... And it was just there... Humming away."

Yandela shakes her head. "But no, that's not what we spoke about."

"Oh, I see..." He murmurs, before lowering his voice to a whisper, "think yah can go weasel it out of him..? I bet he wouldn't tell me even if his life depended on it..." Mitsuki then sighs and shakes his head, his eyes empty.

"I'll see what I can do tomorrow," Yandela murmurs hesitantly. "It'll be suspicious if I go back in now after telling him I'm going to bed..."

She didn't really want to be a part of this, but Edward had a multitude of secrets that made him hard to trust. She scoffs quietly.

How stupid am I to be attracted to someone I can't trust?

The door opened to reveal Edward with a bag, packed and hoisted over his shoulder.
There was a device that looked similar to his sonic screwdriver but red and wider strapped around his waist.
Surprised, he noticed Yandela and Mitsuki standing there in conversation.
"Something's come up, I need to leave for a while to do...things."
He turned towards Yandela
"You wouldn't happen to know where my black overcoat is?, would you Yan?"

"So how often does the Time Lord forget to look right in front of him?" Yandela teases, shrugging off his coat and holding it out to him. "Because I believe that's the dumbest question you could have asked all day."

"Often." he replied while taking back the coat.
"I'll be away for roughly two to three weeks, maybe even a month.
The Tardis is set to basic protocols so if you want to get back to the planet, simply pull the big massive handbrake and it'll take you to Aelore.
Once it has done that, the power systems should shut down until I return."
Placing his arms into the long black coat then proceeding to pick up his briefcase as well as the bag hoisted on his shoulder, he smiled then turned to the boy.
"Don't you dare try anything funny. Although knowing you, I'd be lucky if Yan still feels anything towards me when I return."
He turned towards Yandela and grinned.
"You....watch yourself."

"Ye of little faith," she mumbles, wrapping her arms around herself. "I'll walk you out, I guess."

He gave her a nod to move in the direction of the console room.
"You know, I meant what I said. Don't let your guard down for one minute with that kid. I forgot to tell you this but do you remember when one of my hearts was destroyed and I was put into sleep for three thousand years?, yeah. I had a dream, or a vision. Whatever you want to call it.
And it was of Mitsuki.
Only this time he was different, his energy was celestial-like, I'm not too sure how to explain it.
This may be anxiety or just my personal views of the guy but when I saw that image in my dream, all I felt was power, and it terrified me."
They took a turn to the right as they passed the health bay and headed down in the direction of the console room.

"I'd rather worry about the power I feel pouring off of you," she says quietly, knowing full well that he can hear her. "Mitsuki's a god, this is HIS WORLD. Of course your vision, if it's legit, had that aura to it. I see it wisping off of him every time I look at him. But you, you never have that level of magic coming off of you. Much less that level of DARK magic."

She steps closer. "What are you hiding this time, Edward?"

"The term 'God' is what people use to define a being with more power than them. By calling him that, you're indirectly addressing yourself as someone of a lower status."

He released the dark shard,
"Hmm strange, you can detect this?,
We found it on the moon along with this note." The strange note was placed in her hands.
"If this really does have the power to harm him, I would like to keep it for safe precautions."

This shard isn't one of the requested ones you were asked to collect however, it will be absolutely crucial in defeating Mitsuki when the time comes.'
The size of the writing became enlarged at the last few lines.
If you refuse to accept our shard, we will simply find another way.
If you accept, then we will grant you the same wish you were promised.'}
