That earthquake wasn't actually an earthquake.
I had a run in with the shadow proclamation, causing them to clash with my Tardis.
Their ship landed on earth at full speed near Tokyo, causing the said events.
I could have stopped it, but back then I wasn't exactly a decent person.
If anything I wanted humans to die.

As for the girl, I have no idea.
Was she your friend?"

The boy just stared at the man, his mouth opening and closing as if he was a fish.

Was this man serious?!
How could he..
How..
Where'd the man get the balls to say that, right in front of him!?!
Was he insane?!
Why could he say it with such ease, as if it was nothing!?!?!
"M-my... My... My family... T-they... You... Y-you... You took it... All away... H-how..?"

Edward dropped the bags on the floor and turned in the boy's direction.
"Firstly, they pursued ME.
Had I not interfered, who knows what they'd have done to earth.
As for your family....well
It happens.
Deal with it."

"That's no excuse... For allowing it to happen, you insensitive bastard!!!! Do you think I wanted this all to happen!?! Do you think I wanted my family to die, even after what happened!?! Goddammit, what about everyone else!?! You know, even if they had come, Guardian and Zay would've probably sorted them out!!!" Mitsuki screamed, furious. While he had not a care for the life he left behind, he knew deep down that he really didn't want to end his life- Not at that point, anyway. Neither had the other thousands dead from the incident. However, his previous answer still stood, as he needed to find out who the girl was, he needed to find out if she was okay.
And hopefully, he would bring her here, so she could start anew.

The Time Lord's face was blank and expressionless.
"Hah, you want me to feel pity for you?,
My parents were murdered by humans. Your race.
They then killed my sisters and my brothers.
After all that, they still decided it wasn't enough to leave my family alone and forced me to be on the run.
So yes, I do know how it feels.

As for the girl, the Tardis has stored the information of every human on earth.
If you can picture her in your head, my ship can locate her.
That is, if she's alive of course."

"But that doesn't mean innocents have to suffer..!" The boy tried to calm himself. Learn about that girl, punish Ed later... Yeah... Yeah, I'll do that... "...So, you really can find out, 'ey..?"

"If it is within my interest,
Of course I can."
He picked up the bags once more.
"However I'm afraid this time, it isn't."

"W-what do you mean?! This is really important!!!" Mitsuki shouted at the man, almost shocked to think that the girl was going to be pushed aside. "What if she's about to die!?! C'mon, it's not like she'll last forever!!!"

Edward pondered about the issue for a short while.
If he chose to not help the boy, there would most likely be certain repercussions.
At the end of the day, this was his world after all.
It'd be senseless to anger him.
"If I help you out, it means that you will be in my debt.
No limitations, no nothing.
If I ever ask something of you, you'd have no choice but to comply.
Are we clear?"

"Depends on what you ask, you must understand. Some things are better not said, and others best not even thinking about.

I do have an entire world on my back, anyway." The boy simply answered with a shrug. He was trying to avoid actually agreeing to the man, still unable to trust him completely.


He did have that strange object with him, after all..

Looking at the boys eyes, Edward understood that he clearly still didn't trust him.
It was fair enough,
Gods tend to dislike each other.

"I'll run through the database and search for her.
Come with me."

Without waiting for his response Edward walked off in the direction of the Console room.

"A-alright.." Mitsuki followed Edward, watching Ed's every move. "So, you really can find her..?"

"Perhaps, if I specify the criteria."
One after the other, they entered the console room.
"Hold on, I just realised, you saved the girl right?, that means you saw her face."
He opened up the telepathic circuits then twisted a dial which linked the astronav computer to the telepathic circuits.
"Just like last time, stick your hands in there and focus on the girl's face."
Dragging the scanner towards Mitsuki, he enabled the deep scan mechanism.
"It's important you focus on only her face..., other things can be displayed too and we don't want that..."

"I-I.. Alright..." The boy could do nothing but do what the man willed him to do, powerless. He began focusing on the girl's face, trying his best to remember every detail- From the colour of her eyes to the very last strand of hair.

Edward watched the scanner motionlessly as it searched through the database containing billions of files for just one human.
And it worked.
"Pull your hands out."
He pushed the scanner towards Mitsuki.
"Is this her?"

Mitsuki did just that and stared at the screen. "...Oh my..."

It was really her.
Her name, her name, need her name...

Edward grinned,
"Victoria Vitti, what a name.
Reminds me of a person I knew called Silas De Vandimion.
Lovely lad he was."
Looking down at the young God, Edward saw the clear relief and happiness in his eyes.

"She's living a happy live in Tokyo because of your heroic involvement."

"...Well... That's good... To hear... I guess..." The boy sighed, relief certainly brought to hi troubled soul. "You selfish little brat, you wouldn't do that, now would you?"

Yeah, I guess I wouldn't, hey?

Edward watched his behaviour.
It was.... Interesting.
"You may leave the console room.
It's pretty late and I plan to sleep in here for the night.
Also, I'd suggest you don't forget about our deal.
You owe me one."
He sat on the console chair then placed his feet on top of the machine itself grinning.
"Now get out before I give Victoria here a call."

As soon as the boys had removed themselves from in front of her room, Yandela had slipped inside. She waved her hand, changing her robes into fluffy pj's, and all but collapsing onto her bed. "Finally, some sleep...."
