Yandela stares at Mars, trying to fight a smile. "That's more embarrassing than me giving in to his puppy dog eyes."

She shrugs, turning on her heel. "I guess I can get you some water from the kitchen. Be right back, then."

"I-I guess... When she comes back with water, of course. It'll Blight yah, but with proper treatment, it shouldn't affect you too much. It'll hurt though." The boy answered, watching Mars' every move.

Edward and Diana had already walked quite the distance away from the rest of the party.
They were deep in conversation.
He loved having an individual who could understand his sense of humour.

"Haha tell me another one"

Diana laughed,
'A scientist comes up to you and states that he will put his quantum harmonizer in your photonic resonation chamber.
What is your response?,

Edward burst into hysterical laughter,

"I would ask him whether or not it would cause a parabolic destabilization of the fission singularity."

They both opened up a state of loud hysterical laughter.
The type two best friends would do after hearing a hilarious joke.

'We've gone quite a distance away from the rest of the team.
Should we stop and wait for them?'

"Diana, the guy has fox ears coming out of his head...
Fox. Ears.
Let them handle it."

There was silence.

"Enough of that, did you hear the joke about the blue hedgehog?"

He didn't really know what blight even meant but he guessed it wasn't pleasant. Question was, was it worth it? While he pondered this he folded his hands together to keep from premature ear touching. "I'm willing to take that risk," he said seriously.

"Yan! Hurry up with that water!" He yelled. The fact that this was the first time he'd spoken to yandela directly in a while, went completely unnoticed by him.

"Hold your horses!" She calls over her shoulder, grinning as she breaks into a jog. "The kitchen is several floors away you know. I'll get it as soon as I can."

"...Yeah." Was all the boy responded with. After all, many others loved patting his ears, and didn't mind the pain of being Blighted.

Though, they did when a man didn't listen to what was said and began rubbing himself and others with the Blight...

But what was the worse that could happen? Mars wasn't an idiot, yeah? So why would he do something like that?

The duo were now quite a distance away from the Tardis.
'Edward, I'm detecting some large levels of metallic creatures moving beneath the ground.
It's as though there are hundreds of robots beneath the soil.'

The Time Lord laughed,
"Then we are heading in the right direction.
There's only one other person on this planet who could create powerful machines in such a short time.

Let's keep moving."

"Ugh, what's with the idiotic set up of this hunk of junk anyways?" Mars half sulked and half scoffed. Time lords needed to get their priorities straight. Food and ear pets should come first before anything. "Kitchen is ten miles away, nothing ever good to eat in there. Gotta go to fauxtroit for anything decent..." He grumbled while waiting on Yan to get back.

Yandela eventually manages to make her way back, muttering about poorly thought out floor plans. She turns to Mars and Mitsuki. She holds out two cups of water. "Got your water."

One of his robots walked in on Xianto who was sitting there laid back and arms crossed. His eyes shut under his armour. "Sir they are here." It reported back to him. Xianto nodded then slowly stood up. "Keep monitoring them. Make sure they find the entrance in the rocks. The labyrinth will be awaiting them. I shall test them before they try coming directly for me. Now go. Let the game begin." The robot nodded then left. As it did Xianto sat down for a quick nap. Thinking to himself. 'So they finally came for me, eh? Well regardless if they kill me here on not. I will not let them get me easily. I can't afford to. My emperor is waiting, for my honour I will fight here.'

"..Two cups, 'ey..? Well, Mars, before any 'pats', I must warn you. Do NOT allow any organic matter to come in contact with the area that is Blighted, alright? We cannot afford to have it spread. Two cups will not save you, let alone a full tank. Are we clear?"

Mars blinked at the warning but nodded. Despite the likely stupidity that was fueling his actions, he still didn't back down from them. Well if he couldn't touch anything then he should probably use his non-dominant hand, it was fairly useless anyhow. He took a cup of water from yandela and held it in his right hand. "Okay, I understand. What are we doing with this water again?"

Diana noticed a small clearing between the rocks that would allow them to enter the underground passage.
'Edward, I can see a small passage between the rocks.
I'm certain our location is somewhere within the cavern.'

Edward nodded and they headed towards to passage.
After a few tricky steps they entered the small passage way and were now within a large labyrinth.

"You can't be serious...
A labyrinth.
I. Hate. These places."

Diana laughed,

'Don't worry, I know enough jokes and stories to keep us entertained until the end.

Did you hear the one about The Italian plumber?'

"I imagine that it's for a purification of some kind." Yandela murmurs. She glances at Mars. "Um... You do realize how risky this is, right?"

"Oh, I see." He nodded in understanding. He hoped he wouldn't be afflicted for to long. Like, he didn't want to have to undergo physical therapy because the muscles in his hand became gelatinous from disuse. That seemed unpleasant. Shockingly, he wasn't even deterred by Yan's statement nor his imagination. Which had conjured up the image of him having a wrist with all the flexibility of a wet noodle. "Yeah, I know," he said shrugging "It's no big deal though."

Inside the labyrinth Edward would feel like he was being watched until doors came out of the wall infront and behind him and a clone of Xianto dropped through a gap in the roof accompanied by ten other machines. All pointed their weapons at the pair. The clone of Xianto spoke slowly and carmly to them. "What do you want?" It questioned.

Diana's facial expression turned serious as she examined the robots placed in front of them.
It's as though they had been upgraded from the previous ones.
She would not be able to shut these ones down.
They were completely at Xianto's mercy.

Edward grinned,

"Is that any way to treat a friend of the Rethait Empire?, i mean fair enough i wasn't expecting milk and cookies but this?...
It's almost insulting.

In any case,

Take me to your leader."

In the shadows of the rubble, there was a faint, subtle movement. Then the boulders that had settled were scattered, smashing to pieces and causing the cavern to rumble. Clutching his sword, a figure rose from the pile. He had been trapped in the rubble because he had not paid enough attention to what was falling on his head, and he blacked out easily. It also looked like the place had been completely deserted. He groaned.

"...Oh dear...How long have I been out?"

He flipped his tracker open to locate the movement of the three. They were pretty far away, but he could definitely cover the distance with ease. He mustered his strength, wiped the dirt and blood that caked his face off with his sleeve, and began to make his way to the surface. The nerve of that robo-man.

Scolopendra was back, and he had a burning thirst to put that conceited man in his place. However, he would bide his time and catch up to the main group. It would be super lucky if they all were in the same place, but Scolopendra had already made the mistake of assuming all would go his way once.

This time, he would not fail.

As his clone and machines brought Hudacious to him. Xianto sat contemplating everything then sighed. The news that the portal attempt had failed disheartened him. So much so that when Hudacious entered the room he had decided to give in. Take his own life, he just wanted to be his emperor one last time and it looked like that would never happen.

The sight that would greet the time Lords eyes was Xianto standing there while in front of him the soul gem lay on the ground. "Welcome. I have decided to say everything." His armour began opening up revealing a half destroyed body hidden inside the armour. In the very centre was an energy orb, filled with other shining crystals. The source of his power. "You see I am already dead. I died in battle years ago. Then had my consciousness transfered to this armour. From that day forward I knew that I had been spared for the purpose of defending my best friend. My emperor. However with him no longer around I have no meaning. No reason to exist. Since I cannot return to him I will die here."

The casing around the core moved away entirely. "End it now please. I don't fear death, I have already suffered it once. Once I am dead my machines will shut down. I have made sure of it." He stood there waiting his death.

"Yeah, it'll purify it. It's sorta like fighting fire, yah know? You use water to dose it. Anyway, give me that, and, well... I guess you can go ahead. Yan, if you want, I guess you can too."
