"Well it's not like there are any other females for you to be jealous of," Again he shrugged, but this time a little smile was added to the mix. Or maybe it was a smirk. At this point he didn't know how helpful he was being. So he figured his best bet was just to keep on swinging until something hit.
"Well, I've seen robots. But they are mostly just machinary that does a specific task mindlessly. There's no personality or human form or anything."
"Well, I've seen robots. But they are mostly just machinary that does a specific task mindlessly. There's no personality or human form or anything."
As he infiltrated the compound, he noticed many particular things. People had been here. The robo-man was here. The group was here. And something else was here, although he didn't know what. Had another entity joined them? Moving on, he quickly made his way through the complex, remaining unseen. Trails of robot parts strung the ground, and he constantly ran into dead ends. This place wasn't for any productive use, but it seemed to all be purely aesthetic. A maze, perhaps, Scolopendra mused.
"...What the hell happened here?"
Scolopendra continued down the seemingly endless corridors of bedrock a little farther, but something seemed off now. The walls were less smoothed over, and more jagged. He forged on until he reached a room. Within the room there were many monitors, and manning each monitor were some robots. Clearly there was more at play then what met the eye.
"Perhaps...This is the control room? I wouldn't believe that he would place something so important in such an obvious area."

Xianto began to laugh quietly. "so that is the kind of man you are, eh? willing to say whatever you wish to manipulate people until you get what you want? Very well then." His hand moved away from his own core and the plates of the armour slid back into place. The door over the entrance sliding down blocking the way out.
One of his hands changed becoming a machine gun, the other robots raising their weapons as well. "I cannot allow you to leave yet. first you must hand that back over to me. so I can destroy it."

Edward cocked his head at the man. He didn't blink.
"Let me tell you a story, there was once a Time lord known as Omega.
He was among one of the highest ranking lords of the Citadel, even holding a higher rank than Rassalion.
You see, Omega was a cheerful man, his intelligence and wit were simply unmatched. After years of work, he and his teacher created their own type of energy from a dying star.
They created Time Travel.
As life goes on, bad things tend to happen. Omega made a lot of people jealous, his skills were almost too perfect, to the point that the Time lord council began to conspire against him.
They caused the death of his wife and then tricked him into entering the 'Anti-matter' universe.
The story doesn't end there. Omega being his usual smart self, managed to shape and rule the antimatter universe to his image.
It didn't take long for him to rip a hole in his realm and return to our N-Space. He returned blood thirsty and ready for revenge.
Unlucky for him, all the other Time lords were gone.
It was just me.
And I dealt with him accordingly.
I built a chair in the rift between E-Space and N-Space causing an eternal time dilation field.
Let me rephrase that.
I trapped and imprisoned a Time lord who could shape an entire universe to his will.
If I could do that to a powerful immortal being because he simply threatened me, what do you think I'll do to a half man-half robot who is pointing a weapon at me?
Put those toys down and open the door."

Disabling the last robot in the room filled with monitors, Scolopendra sighed and wiped the sweat off his face, but not before coughing up some more blood.
"Ah jeez. It won't be long until my entire body denatures at this rate."
Looking around the room the monitors all gave him vision of the various rooms, corridors, hallways, and everything else. There was little to no action in most of them minus two monitors. One of them held Edward and the roboboy. The other showed the boy god, the magician girl, and the witty one.
Scolopendra eyed the buttons, and was tentatively about to press one when he decided against it in fear of jeapordizing his frie-pawns. They were useful assets to him, and he needed all of them if he was to fulfill his wish and see "them" again. He sighed and pushed aside a broken robot, sitting in its chair. For now, he would just sit in this room and see how it plays out.

"So... Just a bunch of metal?" Yandela asks, tilting her head. She frowns, then abruptly shakes her head. "Never mind, we have to go if we're going to have any hope of catching up with Edward."
"More or less. Can't have them getting too intelligent and rising up against us, like in so many movies, after all." Mars offered in explanation.
He nodded at her next statement "Guess you're right about that. How do we find him though?" Since they might get roped back into conversation if he didn't, Mars started towards the exit.

Yandela trotted up beside him, summoning her staff to her hand. "Remember the stick trick I did when we first met? I can modify it to lock on to his magical signature. But I'm not going to have a physical object to cast it on, so you're just going to have to follow me."
He did remember that, back when they were in the forest. How long had it been since then? It felt like forever, at least to him. "Lead the way then."
Yandela nods and the gem on top of her staff glows brightly before subsiding back to its usual sheen. The mage turns to look at Mars over her shoulder as she begins walking. "I could just teleport us there, but I'm not sure if we'll need to fight once we're there... And while teleporting myself is no issue, toting anther person along with me is rather draining. So I'm not sure if that'd be the wisest thing to do... What do you think?"
"I think I'm just gonna go ahead and check what's up... I sense Patchy..." The boy whispered, moving a little bit faster than the others. "You still got the compass and feather? Remember, that Feather's gonna protect you, and possibly, from what I can infer, the Compass can lead you to our 'buddies'. Like I said, I'm meeting with Patchy... I need to ask him a 'favour'..." And that was it, the boy was gone.
In the midst of all this, Scolopendra was lazily spinning around in the chair all over the place. The chair had wheels on it, so he would slide around the room, occasionally abruptly stopping to scoot around some bricked robots.
"...Damn, I really love these chairs. When I get back, I gotta get one of these suckers."
He laughed quietly to himself. If he even returns that is. It was really funny, actually. He had almost forgotten how old he was. 19, was it? Scolopendra guessed so. He had not celebrated his birthday since he was 13. It mattered not. His hair was already pure white and he had the physical standards of a senile man. There wouldn't be a lot of time left. If only he could have had a better childhood...With his family...

Xianto looked Edward right in the eyes then suddenly his arm became a sword and he stabbed inwards, straight through his own core. "Goodbye."
The sound of an explosion at the entrance to 5hen entire Base could be heard followed by collapsing rock. All the doors slamming down into place. "Oh... i had almost forgotten. The Base is rigged to blow upon my death. I am the sole activation and deactivation switch. This site will be completely destroyed." Xianto's voice was slowly becoming more faint.
His body crumpled over backwards. His last audible words were "I am sorry my emperor." All around a voice began a countdown. 7 ... 6

Edward quickly glanced around the room and instantly time froze. This was how he handled extreme crisis situations, everything around him would freeze in place giving him time to think.
He began to walk around the room examining every little thing.
There simply wasn't enough time. His watch didn't reset itself yet so if he was to die, he couldn't come back. The Tardis would take too long to arrive.
There was simply no way to survive this.
He sat down on a nearby chair and began to think. What would Yandela say?, granted she'd probably have some teleportation or shield spell that would protect them or at least help to reduce the explosion damage.
"Six seconds.., what could I do in six seconds that could stop him from dying?,
Absolutely nothing.
I should have prepared for this."
The Time Lord sat there for a few more moments with his head down before eventually rising up.
There was no need in extending the matter.
Time began to move once more.
Diana looked terrified. She had only been alive for a few hours and it would be over so quickly.
Edward placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, followed with a smile.
Suddenly, a black mist appeared in front of Xianto and out came a white haired girl with a large watch attached to her hand.
It was a vortex manipulator.
Edward and Diana stared in shock.
'Whoops, I think I cut it a little too close.'
She grabbed Edward who still had his hand on Diana's shoulder and teleported them out of the cave near Yandela and Mars. The transportation was instant and rough causing the trio to fall on the floor.
The girl began to laugh as though she had just come off a roller coaster.
'That...was...too..fun.
I think I enjoyed that far more than I should have.' She said laughing.
Edward rose and stared at her with a stern look on his face.
"That's a vortex manipulator on your hand. I made sure that I destroyed every single one left after the time war.
Why do you have it."
She simply grinned, 'Because you made it for me silly.'
"I did what?"
'Whoops, me and my big mouth.'
"Who are you?!"
She began to input a set of coordinates on her vortex manipulator and continued grinning. 'That'd be telling.
For now however, you can call me 'Abi' or 'Ms Harrington.'
"Hold on, a Vortex manipulator can only be used to transport people through time. Aelore is in another universe. How the hell did you get here?"
'Again, you told me.'
Edward began to get irritated.
"How could I have told you if I don't even know you?!"
'You will one day.'
And with that, she activated her watch and disappeared.
Edward stood there in silence.
What the hell just happened.

"Holy ****!"
The monitors all went black at the same time a huge bang echoed through the corridors. Rumbling shook him left and right, and he flew off the swiveling chair. Scrabbling to his feet, he made a mad dash to the exit, arms outstretched, only to have his hopes crushed by a tumbling boulder covering the exit. Trapped and nowhere to go, he let loose a flurry of profane words that were too intense to put into dialogue.
Scolopendra cursed his terrible luck. He wasted most of his acid on exterminating the robots, and if he allowed the enzymes in his body to denature any farther, he would simply just die on the spot. In the midst of his thinking, a stray boulder loosened itself from the ceiling and fell, crushing Scolopendra's body outright.
"...Ahaha...Never though...I'd go out like this. This fatal flaw in my calculations...But a feeling in my chest told me that at least...That god damn time lord should have a happy ending. Screw him seriously though...What a pompous ***."
His eyes looked up from under the boulder, and more pebbles rained down on his face and bounced off, giving the premonition that another boulder was about to crush the rest of what remained of him.

The young boy we all love and know materialised above the one known as Scolpendra, doing the same trick as always, stopping everything around them. Except this time, it affected all but the eyepatch wearing man. "Well well well, Patchy. What a mess you got yourself into. Heh, I could just leave you here and let you die, buuut... I've still got use for you. Anyway... I can't let both of you die... Yet. That's just not entertaining, huh? So, allow me to fix this for you~..." And with a snap, the boulder rolled off the man, the boy smiling cheekily. "I won't allow anymore deaths... Not by anyone but my hands, anyway..."
Yandela blinks as three figures materialize in a flash of light near herself and Mars. She does a quick headcount.
"Edward, Diana... Who the hell is that?" Her brows furrow at the third person. "They teleported other people... With no magical assistance?"
"Edward, Diana... Who the hell is that?" Her brows furrow at the third person. "They teleported other people... With no magical assistance?"
Edward and Diana made their way to Yandela and Mars. The Timelord was furious.
"Diana, you stay here with them. I'm returning to the Tardis."
She looked puzzled, 'We still have one more shard to collect. It's only a day's travel away from here on foot. We could make it.'
Edward shook his head, "External forces have now joined the picture. I need to take action. Do as you're told and stay here."
She simply nodded and walked towards the duo while Edward turned in the direction of the Tardis.

Scolopendra's face drops a bit, and he is a bit put off by the man child. But oppurtunity knocks, so he stops the dramatics since he is no longer at the maw of Death and crawls slowly to his sword. The full effect of the weight of the boulder had heavily damaged him, but he knew that it wouldn't kill him. It would just be another thing to add to the list of almost reason for death. Picking up his scattered blade, he stands up, using it as support.
"...I'd...like to thank you for saving me...but it was an ill attempt on your part. Not that I don't plan on paying you back...I still retain my chivalrous ways."
He knocks on the boulders blocking the entrance with the tip of his blade.
"So...Urgh...I know you got in here by teleporting and all that fancy stuff...But I don't fancy the thought of leaving my body...To an impish god...Of god knows what. Oh wait, you're god. But...As I waste my breath on you...We are rapidly losing oxygen inside this place. I don't know if your kind needs it, but humans certainly need it. However, if I'm really worth your salt...you will find a way to free the entrance for me...Don't try anything funny though...or else the direction of my blade will be facing you."
Scolopendra was definitely in no condition to wage a battle, and it was most certainly a costly gamble. But if the child got too close to him, he may get hurt by the after effects of his ability, and Scolopendra did not wish to harm anyone if he did not need to.

"Hm. Well, first we'll get rid of these damn boulders, 'ey..?" The boy said as he quickly observed the situation. He didn't wish to use his 'celestial' powers to sort this out, simply because it would affect him greatly. So, he began taking out some rocks out of the wall, like in that one game. Except, he wanted the boulders to fall. And one did, nearly making Mits flat. Sadly, behind that boulder was another, but he knew that was the last, seeing cracks of light around it. Which is why he began pushing and pushing the gigantic rock, but alas, to avail. To that, he yelled out to the others outside, hoping they would hear him.
