Mars was relatively silent during the whole "we don't exist" debate. He didn't know anything about that kind of thing nor did he care. All he knew now was his current existence. If he was in a situation where he never existed in his former world then, that was fine. There wasn't much for him back there anyway. He immediately flinched at the sounds, they brought up bad memories. And when he saw the men emerge from the woods he knew they didn't have any kind intentions. "I don't think we should stick around either." He said, tugging on Yandela's arm to get her attention.
He stood still.
"Ugghh."
With almost complete reluctance, he walked in front of the trio.
He didn't look at them.
"Don't ask."
Now facing the men, he slowly walked up to a specially armored man who was probably the leader but was stopped in his tracks as he was shot in the left shoulder by an arrow.
"Crap. That hurt."
The men didn't seem to understand communication, yet they had advanced weaponry.
He retracted back to the duo.
Trying to keep a brave face, he slumped on the floor.
Despite his general behavior, he had an absolute terrible tolerance of pain.
"Erh... any other ideas?."

Xianto took one look at the situation and smiled. "Kill all of them but spare the three in the middle he ordered to his robots which immediately opened fire sending a spray of bullets into the group of thirty men. Seconds later the ones with mortars fired to then began firing in pattern determined to not let up. Other more smaller drones, the ones used for mining and cutting down trees swarmed inwards trying to swarm the people while the other robots fired mercilessly overhead.
Yandela hardened her shield to fend off shrapnel, even as she knelt beside the child-man to inspect his wound.
- The weird looking men were not affected at all by the bullets and mortars of the powerful robot machines.
Once the display had been done, they aimed their weapons at the robots. The arrows pierced directly through the armor of the robots rendering them useless. Few had remained. -
Edward tried to shrug off the aid.
"We both know it's pierced in pretty deep."
"That shield of yours, however powerful will not be able to hold for much longer, especially if you tend to me."
"I really do hate to be a cheesy spoil sport, but you guys should probably escape."
He looked at the Tardis
"I've got my ship here,
once i get inside it i'll be fine."
"So take this chance and run."

He returned to the hotel, only to find the Time Lord missing in action. The walls were cluttered with calculations and gibberish. He understood most of the concepts but there were developed equations that he did not understand, possibly due to the amount of difference in research.
He threw stocks of blood on the bed save one and jammed another syringe into his neck, groaning a bit. He had gone through a lot of trouble to get it, but it was definitely worth it.
"Where is he..."

Mars frowned "If it still worked why didn't you leave before you got shot huh?" Mars wasn't buying this bologna. He looked to the approaching men then back to the other two "He's right this thing won't last forever, I think our best bet is to run for it.."
"We can't just leave you when you're wounded like this!" She looks up at Mars, searching for his reaction. "It's difficult to run with an arrow in your shoulder... I can heal him, but... I mean... It may not work. He's not human."
"If you think it'll work then hurry and try," he said kneeling next to them. "If not, he's just going to have to suck it up and run," Mars examined the wound as well before returning his gaze to the ever approaching mob. "When they get too close we're going, healed or not."
"For heavens sake!."
"Stop being absolutely stupid."
"While you're both here wasting time, other people are getting those shards."
"I've told you already."
"LEAVE ME."

"I don't give a an about those EFFING shards!" Yandela calls healing magicks to her hands, trying to figure out his biology as she encourage his atoms and nerves to reconstruct themselves."
The men where now barely 40 feet away. Artillery bounced dangerously of Yandela's shield. "Focus Yandela, don't worry about what comes out of his mouth," he said at about 20 feet was the cutoff he'd set.
His complexion has lost its sallow color and returned to a healthier one. Sighing in relief he got up and decided to leave a note. He licked his finger and wrote,
"Heading towards the Big Pig. (Highest If memory serves me right, perhaps something important may happen due to past experiences."
He grimaced at the said memory then went back to using a real pen to write the second half.
"If the message above has melted through the note, that means I will need back up. Bring anyone who can provide protection against a large amount of bullets. If I am correct, all hell is going to break loose."
He then tacked the note to the wall and tucked the packets of blood inside his sleeve. Scolopendra picked up his blade leaned against the bedside and turned the lights off.

"Ugh, whatever."
"Well hurry up, this bloody hurts."
Edward was trying incredibly hard to resist tears from falling.
"Be quick about it!."

"Dammit," she hisses. "Its not responding to-"
She's cut off as her whole being sudders, one of the bullets landing in the focus of the shield. Her concentration falters as her hands fly to her head in pain, all spells falling.
"A-aah!"

"Ok, time to go," he said turning and helping his the incapitated duo to their feet. Being careful of Edwards injury and Yandela's...well he didn't know what was up with her but it didn't really matter at this point.
"UGH, Pathetic!."
He pushed her out of the way allowing himself to take the full extent of pain
"Bloody ********,*******!"
Edward was knocked out cold.

Xianto watched as his robots fell then collected every thing stuck in them then ordered a few hidden robots behind him to recover the destroyed ones. Then he left. His first attempt had been a complete success.
"Both of you MOVE!."
The fury inside Edward was getting too high.
These stupid little kids endangering his life in such a rigid manner

"Oh shut UP," Yandela snarls at the annoying one, managing to stand on her own. The shield flickers back up as she snatched Mars' wrist, Being sure not to lose him in the confusion.
