Mars bent and collected up the knocked out time lord. It was a rather awkward set up and he'd be half dragging the man, but it would do for now. He motioned to the direction opposite of the armada. "Over there," he said
Scolopendra realized he had left something important in the forest, and silently cursed to himself. He turned straight around and sprinted back towards the direction of the forest.
"God damn I can't believe I forgot something so important!"
"God damn I can't believe I forgot something so important!"
After xianto and his machines had departed they made their way towards the nearest mountain. Heading straight to the top of it.
"Alright." She nodded, backing up to watch her shield and keep it strong. "Just go. I'll hold them off and follow."
He pointed towards his Tardis.
"The box...."
"Open it and take me inside"
"It's our best chance of survival."

"Go," Yandela grits out through her clenched teeth. "I can't hold it much longer."
He watched as the woman struggled to keep up the shield.
How difficult things had become.
This would mean....
That he was in their debt.

Mars clicked his teeth and decided to go for it. They'd wasted enough time already arguing. As quickly as he could, while lugging Edward around, he worked his way over to the Tardis. kicking the thing open he maneuvered the injured time lord inside of it.
Scolopendra came upon such a magnificent sight. Armored men were brutally pummeling away at the arcane girl. Behind her was that other man and...Edward?
He quickly came from behind the aggressors with his sword, coating it in poison and jabbing at the back of one of them.

Now inside the Tardis, due to the Temporal state of grace being active, the energy of every individual inside was restored.
Edward jumped up
His face flooded with fury.
He marched up to the console and activated the translation system as well as the speaker.
"You worms think you can wound a Time Lord?"
"You use your primitive weapons without a sense of understanding"
"It's always attack first, discuss later."
"That's absolutely fine."
Had it not been for the two individuals with him, he would have decimated the location with explosions that could destroy chunks of an area.
He turned to them.
"What do you suggest? Do we lock them away? Or viciously slaughter them?"
"I'll only ask this once."

Yandela managed to fling herself inside the TARDIS in time to hear the Time Lord's statements. Her breath came in short bursts and sweat ran down her face.
"L-lock 'em. That one guy WAS tearing down their home. They probably though we were attacking them."
"L-lock 'em. That one guy WAS tearing down their home. They probably though we were attacking them."
"Yeah but we're not that one guy and they don't seem to care all that much," Mars pointed out. "I'd like to say kill half of them to strike fear in the others' hearts but that might be overboard. A terrible life locked away would be fine...I guess," he shrugged.
Scolopendra was already in the midst of slaughtering most of them. He had no idea who the hell they were or what the hell they wanted, but they were hurting valuable pawns that were needed in order to obtain the shards.
Pulling out the blade from the chest of one of them, he quickly returns back into the forest before they could react. He may have gotten a few of them by surprise, but even he wasn't as stupid as that robot building freak as to needlessly do anything more unnecessary. Staying any longer would let them regroup, and having them in numbers would simply overpower him like what had happened to the others. His presumed allies had retreated into Edward's transportation device and should be safe under all the confusion he had just caused.

"I dun... Dunno... Where would we lock them?" Her head spins and she slumps to the metal floor of the TARDIS.
"Within the holding cells of my ship."
He offered his hand to the woman who was slumped on the floor.
The display they had just performed, was astonishing. She wanted to heal him despite the dire situation. Even the boy with her helped too.
"Once they are locked, there'll be no more interference from them, and perhaps I could even study them."

Yandela weakly shakes her head in response to his offered hand, absently mumbling something about needing to rest. Her own voice sounded like it was reaching her ears through water. "I probably overdid it..."
Yan was clearly in no condition for anymore thinking at the moment. "Well, if the options are death and imprisonment. Let's just go with the imprisonment." He addressed Edward.
There was a strange sight to behold. The cavemen were sieging the device, but all their attacks failed to breach it for some odd reason. Whilst they were reloading their arrows to fire another barrage, he took his chance.
He snuck into the contraption that the others had retreated to. The device was indeed, peculiar.
"...It's bigger in the inside..."
He saw them all huddled around a central control talking of how to dispose of them. Harming the ecological system wouldn't do them any good in this unfamiliar world. Scolopendra was about to make his way to them when he thought otherwise. They looked a bit too tired to ask for any more favors. So instead he decided to prioritize completing the retreat.
"Hey Edward I do believe we have a bunch of bloodthirsty ingrates outside who really aren't here for a tea party, and I doubt you truly have half your full power right now. We should regroup instead of vainly trying to get back at them."
Scolopendra decided to add a little bit more of an edge to force the Time Lord to cease and desist.
"Or perhaps you do want to fall for their bait?"

"I don't care what we do," Yandela mutters, closing her eyes against the brigh light and resting against the base of the control panel. "As long as we live..."
He looked beneath himself at the young woman huddled on the floor.
She was harmless.
He could activate the Tardis defence system and lock everyone except him in a containment chamber.
Yet for some reason, he regressed the thought.
Edward placed his hand on her shoulder in a legitimate compassionate way.
"I did warn you...."
He then turned to the man who had just entered the Tardis.
"Took you long enough."
"Even with all your skills, you still couldn't get here fast enough."
He motioned for Scolopendra to close the doors.
