Davis is in a prone position in an abandon building not far from the front-lines. Parts of the wall collapsed gave him a great view of the battlefield and the enemies. A soldier,the spotter, crouches beside him. "Rey, seems the guys defending the monolith are quite a bit of trouble. Two o'clock, can you see them?" He readjusts his position and swivels his sniper rifle to the right. "Yeah I see them." "Alright, do you see a few demons in the red building? Second floor." He brings his view onto the second floor of the red building. There are three demons preparing to strike. He takes a deep breath and waits for thirty seconds then he fires. The laser shoots through the closest one. The laser then deflects somehow off the ground and shoots through the second one. The third demon tries to react before the laser somehow deflects from the air and hits him square in the head. Less than a second, the three demons fall to the ground. Dead. "This is Sierra Tango. I will be giving you covering fire. Over."

With a few more keystrokes, the holographic screen flashed green, the words "All Clear" appearing before the device sprang to life. Parts on the Monolith began to glow and a large fork shaped emitter sprang up from the top, charging with blue energy. Vincent watched intently as it charged up, hoping that it wouldn't just shut down right in the middle, but thankfully it finished charging without any problem and shot out a large beam of energy to the sky, the clouds parting as it continued to climb up passed the stratosphere.

"First Monolith is operational, now continuing to next waypoint!" Vincent said into the communicator in his helmet for his comrades to here. He stood up and without a moments hesitation he unhooked two black metal handles from his belt and flipped a switch on each, two plasma blades extending from them as Vincent got down into a defensive position. Once everyone had received his message, they began moving, Vincent assisting in slicing through the hoards of demons in order to get where the next Monolith was to be set up.

His head looks upon the large beam of energy shooting into the sky. "We better relocate before they pin our position. There is a good building half a klick here and not far from the next monolith. Let's move." He picks up his sniper rifle and folds the bi-pod. The spotter preps himself by checking his gun and ammo. Davis looks upon the monolith again before leaving the tall building for the next one. He and his spotter disappears as they activate their optical camouflage.
