She looked at Logan puzzled and said "Why is that you can't hold the two weapons? I do that al-" she cut herself off making sure that Logan doesn't know more about her work of as a powerful being. She reached into her bag and puled out a book and handed it to him "Here read this it should allow you to wield both weapons if you are having trouble" she said looking at him.

"Uh, thanks." He takes the book. "I can already handle two swords, but a katana is faster than a standard sword, so it'll be a bit hard to control bothvwithout losing my balance in any way." He sit's on a stump and starts reading.

"That book should help you when using two different weapons like that, for example you can use the standard sword for a more defensive actions while the katana for more offensive moves" she explained to Logan as he read. She crossed her arms, knowing he'll gain valuable information with that book

"Yeah yeah, thanks..." Logan continues his reading and starts to hum to himself. "Oh, right! Theres this new techneque that I wanted to try out! Lets hurry to the woods! Oooh, I can't WAIT!!" Logan jumps up and down in excitement, takes your hand and hurries into the woods.

"Ahh" she yells as she gets pulled suddenly again by Logan. "You have a lot of energy I see" she says to him as they went to the woods

Logan finally releases you when your deep enough in the woods. He checks his surroundings and takes a deep breath. "I smell blood..." He sniffs the air and his ears twitch. "...Fresh blood and the killer is not far from where were standing!" Logan begins to unsheath his sword as a giant, blood covered ant jumps from behind some bushes. Logan takes a strike at it, but misses. "Crap!" The ant takes advantage of Logan's misfortune, jumps on his back and begins to tear at him.

Logan finally releases you when your deep enough in the woods. He checks his surroundings and takes a deep breath. "I smell blood..." He sniffs the air and his ears twitch. Logan begins to unsheath his sword as a giant, blood covered ant jumps from behind some bushes It looked to be about as long as you lying on your back. (Yup. It's pretty damn big. ._.) Logan takes a strike at it, but misses. "Crap!" The huge ant takes advantage of Logan's misfortune, jumps on his back and begins to tear at him.

Erica was about to take out her book and record this encounter but she sees that Logan is in danger. So she takes out Arabian dagger and dashed forward and slicing the annetene off the ant. In bloating high rate of speed she got a few of the legs off the ant trying to cripple it. "Damn, if I had my blade I could kill it in one blow" she said to herself hoping that her actions allowed Logan to ecscape from its clutches.

The ant begins to stagger. It quickly looks at you and then back at Logan. It turns back to you and charges at Logan. The boy quickly realises whats going on and stands up, preparing to attack. He tosses his main sword high into the air and pulls out his katana. When the ant got close, he cut at the other anntenea and shot at the ant with fire using his alchemy. He tosses his katana into the air and catches his main sword to defend himself. He turns to you and screams, "Finish the goddamn thing!" before stumbling into a tree.

Erica knew her dagger won't be able to penetrate the exoskeleton of the ant but she can cripple it though. Within a blink of an eye she was able to cut the rest of the legs off the ant living it incapacitated and only able to move its head. Seeing the ant as not a threat anymore she sheath her dagger and said to Logan "I can't pen his exoskeleton only your blades can" her face was the look at anger towards Logan

Logan smiles brightly and looks back at you. "You forgot about my-" The katana finally comes down to the ground, penetrating the ants head, killing it. "-katana." Logan nudges the ant to make sure it's dead, and pulls his weapon out without any struggle. He sheaths his katana and after rubbing some elixer on his wounds, he starts walking off. "So...Are you coming, or are you gonna join him?" He looks down at the ant carcus and looks back up at you.

She looked at him agitated by his recklessness and response she shoveled through her bag and threw a book at him and yelled"Why did you just run into danger, you could have been killed!" She started to approach him with clutch fists

Logan continues to walk without an expression on his face. He srops for a second and starts laughing. "I thought you only wanted to do research, not constantly worry about me!" He falls to the ground, laughing hysterically.

Erica didn't get his joke and replied bitterly "Dead men aren't useful in acquiring knowledge" she looked at dead straight in the eyes and ask "In terms of technology how far has this world progress?"

"Eh, I don't really know. To be honest, I don't know if I care...I'm more focused on learning about my supernatural half." He ruffles his ears, clearly refurring to his neko half. He stands back up and puts an arm around you. "Look, I'm sorry about how I acted back there.That was my first time fighting one of those, and I got careless...Tell ya what, how about when we get back to town, I'll buy ya somethin' nice?"

Erica thought about the unknown tech that is available to this world, despite making sure Time and Space aren't violated but since there is a good chance that Logan will pull the same stunt twice, she makes her decision. "I forgive you Logan, but when we get to town let me have some privacy on my own...I need to get something, so you don't have to get me anything" she said with a soft smile as she followed him

"Ah, alright then. You need privacy, you can have it. After all, I did want to get a bit of training done here of stop for a cup of tea..." The two walk back into town and he pats your head before rushing back into the woods, his coat blowing in the brisk Winter gust.

Erica looked backed at Logan as he renters the woods again. To quickly catch up with him she went behind a build and summoned one out of her two Dendrilic swords. The rather clunky looking sword with large metal teeth all around the blade moved independently as she moved the sword a bit, despite of its size she held it with one hand and swung it around with ease. She reved it seeing if the chainsaw like blade works and saw the blades move as they were supposed to do. She took the blade and sheathed it into rectangular shaped sheath on her hip. She quickly went back into the forest and went after Logan, prepared for whatever comes in her way

Logan continues to walk deeper into the woods, killing any monsters that got in his way. A blood bat had dared to get close and he'd killed it instantly. It looked like that he was on the verge of tears, but you couldn't be sure. He climbed a large oak tree and tried to fall asleep.

For Erica finding Logan wasn't very hard since he left a trail of dead monsters leading straight to the tree in where he was sleeping. Erica knew it was animal instinct for him to rest in a tree, similar to what a cat would do. She climb the tree with ease and sat next to the sleeping neko. She wonder what would happen if she scratched the back of his ears, would he enjoy it like cats do? So she reached her hand out and started to scratch the back of his ears and felt that his hair was quite soft more like a fur soft but it clearly looked like human hair either way it felt nice to touch though.
