When someone says a woman stole my heart, this usually isn't what they mean. Victoria Vass was a beautiful woman, curly brown hair, body like a perfect hourglass, but also a con artist and a thief and apparently the price was high for the heart of a tall man with an O+ blood type. Sam woke up half way through the second surgery uttering the word, "Victoria," before falling unconscious once more. Doctor Ivan Baer and Scientist Ned Parr worked vigorously over the span of a week to save Mister Thorne, the rich son of George Thorne the C.E.O. of Thorne Iron Works Factory in Gatewood City. The doctors used metal, gears and metal tubes to final get good ol Sam Thorne off life support. A small metal box was inserted into the center of his chest to hold his new heart. Gears and leather worked together to beat once a second, and a key was hung by string around his neck. This key needed to be placed in his heart and whined it three times every day so that it would keep beating. As Sam woke up after his third and final surgery one thought was on his mind, "I need to see Victoria Vass one more time... I'm in love."
