It's their favorite time of year: Halloween. The dolls are scattered about ready to give children the best scare they've ever gotten in their whole lives. Alanis is busy carving pumpkins with her garish nails while Lydia sews little stuffed horror bears for all the bad girls and boys. Nala dances a spooky jig and Lacy bakes blood covered cupcakes to match Trixies witches tea. All the doll are busy awaiting their company. Who wants to trick or treat?

Walking along the path dressed up in her 3DM gear, Viola walked through the night parading about as someone that was cosplaying from the anime 'Attack on Titan'. She had been rather excited to show off the costume that she had made for that year, though that would have to wait till she was back at home and attending the late night party that she and some friends agreed to put together. For now, however, Viola had been meandering through town, seeing how many trick or treats she could get away with.

Here, she had started to approach a house that seemed normal enough. A smile upon her lips and a bag for treats at the ready, Viola approaches the house before her.

The first thing to catch the blonde's eye is the lady that had been dancing a spooky jig. Stifling a small giggle, Viola could appreciate the amount of fun that people had on Halloween. After all, it was a holiday to dress up and act goofy -- at least in Viola's mind. For some, Halloween was a free pass to act disgusting and scare people... which was all fine and good, so long as people knew what they were getting into.

Clearing her throat, Viola neared and said to them, "trick or treat!"

The dolls all turn in unison, except Nala who simply continues to dance, letting her strings take her wherever. Lydia is the first to move, straining to make her sewed together face form a smile as her body creaks with the movement of her limbs. She places one of her horror teddies in the girls bucket. It was a brown one with multiple scars as well as horns sewn into its head and red snake eyes. As Lydia took a seat and began to sew again Lacy walked up.

"I suppose you can have a treat."

She handed her a blood covered cupcake, sweet blood of an fairy but no mortal would know that, they'd just think it was icing. With a small wave, she returned to her spot and picked up baking again. Trixie motioned her over, offering a range of tea flavors.

"Take any one you like."

Trolls blood, eye of newt, witchy herbs, and spirit were just a few flavors there. The dolls obviously were either very funny and over the top Halloween enthusiasts or just plain nightmares but that was for the guest to decide.

Viola's eyes had brightened at the sight of the cupcake. Some people were just really good with giving holiday themed goods for that time of the year! Viola remembered seeing a lot of people post online their 'failures' of attempting something really cool they saw. Really, all it boiled down to was not having the right tools for the job.

This, on the other hand, made Viola think these ladies were just happy to be able to make festive treats.

"Ah, merci, merci! This treat looks trés bon!" Viola happily said as she held up the cupcake to examine it. In her mind, it was almost a shame that something so artful had to be eaten -- she would have hated to imagine the clothing and costumes she made getting eaten when she was done with them.

Looking to where one of the dolls had motioned towards, Viola felt a flutter of furthered excitement. Was this a party that she had randomly walked up to? Granted, she would not have been able to stay, but the gesture had been super appreciated!

"I would love to try out some of the drinks you have prepared..!" Viola said, her inability to readily say 'no' inhibiting her desire to get going to her own party after the events. In any case, Viola had approached the decorated table and gazed upon the cups. There was a certain stench, though Viola figured it must have been for the holiday at hand.

Choosing the yellow tea, Viola had brought the cup to her lips and took a sip.... She had stifled the urge to make a face and held the liquid in her mouth for a bit longer. It took a moment, but Viola had eventually wrestled the beverage down.

"T-trés magnifique..!" Viola had barely managed to get out, setting the cup down.

The dolls simply all smiled at her, a few holding back laughs. What a silly mortal. Too bad she was older than their usual crowd or else they might have had more fun with her.

"Happy Halloween."

Their voices all croaked at once, tilting their heads at her with their fake smiles. They had enjoyed her little visit, it was always fun to play with the living. Not to mention, they had no need to change their form to make them look normal this time of year. All they had to do was stay human sized. Trixie gave a small giggle as she took a sip, obviously knowing she wouldn't like that one. Witches tea was the hardest for mortals to digest. If she was lucky, she wouldn't be changed into a toad or some other amphibian.
