By the way, where, at the moment, are you thinking of settling the roleplay in? Like Rigby said, the Villains Group could use some adventures! PMs could work too.

Rigby, please pick your character so I can add it. Virtu, I'd like to include you too, so please pick/make your character quickly. You're both welcome to talk with anyone about that if you'd like to plan ahead or anything. (I encourage everyone to talk in general, really.)

Question for you folks, please state your preference: the villains group or PMs? I'd prefer the group myself, but I don't want to force anyone to join and I know some like more privacy (not that the group is particularly active...).

My preference goes out to PMs, however I'm perfectly fine with joining the group if the majority wants that.

I mostly prefer PMs, but I don't mind the Villains group either.
It's not like I don't have almost every single one of my characters there.

Final tidbits before things get going!

Votes seem fairly even... I'll go ahead and put the RP in the group (soon). Just make sure you all subscribe to it when I do!

Character list above has been updated to list everyone to be included. I'm not going to worry about a post order at this point. Just be conscientious.

Everyone isn't required to be in one big group all the time. Separate groupings are fine so long as everyone keeps track of which they are in; side conversations that don't include everyone in a group are totally fine as well. Don't worry too much about timing for such things, either - you're encouraged to be realistic, but discrepancies can be blamed on the dream (and should generally not be noticeable by characters).

The reality within the dream is, to a large degree, built off ingrained/subconscious expectations. Physics, magic, shape shifting, etc. will generally work the same as it always has for your character. Because this is a dream, though, such things always have the potential of being cancelled or altered (but I'll only do that for special purposes).

At your discretion, your character can occasionally wake from the dream. While awake, anything your character has experienced in the dream will be as foggy and vague as would any other dream. Similarly, while in the dream, time spent in the real world will be perceived as if it were merely a dream. The passage of time in the dream and in your character's reality may be drastically different.

Your character will be unable to experience any other dreams for the duration of this RP; entering a dream state will always bring them back to this dream. Your character may wake and return in the same post with no time passage, or your character may remain awake as others continue though the dream. If there is time passage in the dream, characters who are actually awake will appear to be sleeping in the dream, and their bodies may still come to harm. If efforts are made to "wake" the character in the dream, that character will feel increasingly sleepy in the real world, and there is a chance they will pass out and be pulled back into the dream.
