Shiloh sighed as she bounced the child in her arms. Currently, she was in a small village north of the main city Camleina. In the main city today, a festival was being held in the honor of the King and Queens' son, the prince. She didn't like him much, personally. Well, what could she say?
He's a bitch.
A drama queen.
And beleive me, she could go on listing what was wrong with Prince Kail.
She walked around her second floor base, in the 'green house', watering her plants as she usually did. Her white-gradient-red hair and tail swayed after her. Her tail swished aggravatingly as she set the child down, who only clung to her leg in fear of scary shadows and people.
Oh how children can be amusing..
Somehow, the Greek diety managed her way from Athens to this small village in the midevial times. (but of course, this was a reject village, and she was rejected from the council...) Her mother, Demetyr, thought it would be good if she could be a Patron to a village full of outcasts.
"Like that's going to get me anywhere.."Shiloh mumbled as she walked outside her small villa home. She had some work to do at the clinic today, and she also had some work to do in the garden if she was to keep her herbs from the dry-spell that was recently brought on..
Oh, how fun life for Shiloh can be.

Nomti ran. Quickly. He heard a roar behind him and stopped to look behind him, head dress whirling about as he did so. An angry minotaur was charging towards him and he was hoping to lead it into the village so that it could be more easily slain. The Anubite backed against a thick tree and pulled out his two cycles, brandishing one upside down like a dagger and the other normally.
"Hey, bull head, over here!" he taunted. The man-bull roared and charged at him. Nomti jumped onto it's head, letting it run into the tree. He sliced down it's back as he ran. The beast pulled itself up, and shook its head with a mighty roar. By then though, Nomti was already sprinting towards the nearest house he could see. An eared woman was walking just out side of it and he ran up to her, his speed unmatched by almost any living thing.
"Minotaur, over there." the servant of Anubis said, not even breathing hard. "Get inside," he said with a grin and ran full speed back towards the minotaur, who was charging, now with a thick tree branch in hand. He gave it an upper cut with both cycles at once but it still didn't fall. He jumped back.
"Or if you could provide assistance, Anubis would be grateful."

Shiloh blinked as the man ran up to her. and of course, she would help. That's just what Shiloh does.
So, being the daughter of Demtyr, and her animal being wolf, she changed into her wolf form rather quickly. She was enormous; three times as big as the Minotaur. She hoped it would be intimidated and run off. She hated killing things..

The woman turned into a wolf, knocking Nomti clear over, gold anklets and bracelets clanging as he fell. She leaped over the minotaur and it fell down too, and almost looked like it was about to run, but stood up, roaring angrily. Nomti saw his chance while it was distracted and ran straight for it, plunging the two cycles right through its back. The bull-man howled in pain, then crumbled to dust, leaving Nomti standing there, weapons seemingly pointed at nothing. He spun them around, sliding each into a sheath across his back.
"I have never seen anything like that," Nomti said to the wolf lady. "I'm still young for what I am, 150, but still, I have never seen some one like you. I have seen scorpion men, I have walked with mummies into battle, but never seen a woman turn into a wolf. What are you?"

Shiloh shrugged as she turned back into half-wolf form. She looked away. "I am what I am, but then again, i am much older than you. i'm over 1,000 years old." she explained. "A few demigods have animal forms; I am one of them."
"I am no demigod, but the essence of Anubis, along with all my brothers. The gods of the pyramids dont meddle with mortals as much as your Greek gods do, so there are few to no Demi gods on the Nile," Nomti scratched his head thoughtfully before speaking again. "I am but an envoy headed to speak to the kings and queens of this area, so I have no place to ask this, but what is a 1000 year old Demi-god doing in such a run down town as this?"
Shiloh blinked back at the Anubite. She was hardly asked why she was here. Almost everyone knew.
"...Since the council won't accept me," she began, "I've decided to help others....outcasted, like me." She replied. looking away, to the small children playing in the feilds.

"I have no place in any council. I am only 15 by human standards, so not nearly old enough to become an Anubite Vizier, the closest thing to a council we have. It doesn't matter to me though. I have to just survive another 700 years before I could become a Vizier. We age so much slower its a shame," Nomti's long jackal ears twitch. "Best of luck to you in all your future endeavors," the Anubite bent down on one knee, bowing and then sprinted off at his top speed.
Shiloh watched as Nomti sprinted off. Such a nice young lad. She sighed. She hadn't had someone bow to her in a long time. She hoped to see the young lad again.

Several hours later
Nomti saw the house just up ahead. He was running like an idiot, stumbling over sticks and rocks as he went, his own golden arm bands blinding him from the suns reflection. An angry roar was behind him, but not from one singular being, but a mass. Now a mob was after him. Nomti may not be a mortal, but he was no immortal either and could still crumble to sand just as the minotaur crumbed to dust. He cursed the greek people loudly in Egyptian. He wasn't about to turn and kill the people. The house was just up ahead now and he jumped to the highest he could, 40 feet and landed on the roof. There was a small hatch way and he opened it and fell into the house.

As soon as Shiloh heard the roar of the crowd, and as she heard Nomti drop onto the floor of her upper floor, she darted upstairs. "What now?" She said. "What have you angered now?" She looked out the window to see the angry mob far away. She blinked. "...Oh lord.."
She zoomed down the stairs again, and ran outside to stop the mob. When they kept demanding for Nomti, all the demigod did, was stomp ont he ground once. It sent people at least four feet in the air. "NOW that I have your attention," she began. "Whatever....this child has done, please disregard it immediately." She said with authority. One by one, the crowd began to disperse. She felt annoyed by the anubite's presence. He certainly wasn't good for Idrase.

"Very sorry about that, and thank you very much. That is the second time youve helped me today," he bowed humbly again, "Anubis will be displeased with my failure. They must have thought I was some kind of creature like the Minotaur. I hadn't done anything to displease them as far as I'm concerned. I will be on my merry way now," he walked out the door, and kept walking at a leisurely pace down the road he had first come from.
