Lanfen (played by GamerWoona)

"Greed is necessary in these times. Call it survival." She sneered at him on the inside - so this sheltered man wanted to tell her how to live?
Why had he not called for help yet? Lanfen stared him down. A soldier? That was one way to put it but at least the soldier still haf a chance for happiness. She had thrown hers away when she became what she was - a girl for everything. She clenched her teeth before answering
"At least the soldier became what he is by choice "
It was pretty obvious now.. he was not even hurt from her attack earlier - she had no chance of winning..
Lanfen felt helpless. She had not told her parents to hide.

Her words "At least the soldier became what he is by choice " echoed to him as he found the key wording to be choice, as if it was almost ironic. "Next time, figure out how much coin your life is really worth before stepping into a cage. Now go, and come back when you have the gall to stand and face me like a real warrior" He spoke sternly as he dismissed her.

"on that day, you can have your other dagger back" he said as stepped on the handle. He watched her every motion like a hawk, as If their moment had stood still, even though it had happened rather quickly.

Face him like a real warrior. Ha! That man was not only strong but seemed to ridicule her. As if she would ever have the slightest chance of winning against a warrior, having trained his whole life..
Not to mention that it was too late anyway. She was doomed. If she came back alive after failing.. her entire famile would pay
"I..." she began but stumbled over her own words - Better pay with my life than with my parents she thought but somewhere inside she wanted to live.. wanted her parents to live.
Despair was just the easiest feeling inside her at the moment..
It took a couple of seconds before she seemingly had made her decision. On the brink of crying, she sheathed her second dagger, took it off her leg and replied
"Don't play with your prey.." she told him "please.. just kill me." She then began undoing her clothing
"Look, I don't have any other hidden weapons..."

His body reacted to her tears as if it’s under its own cord, as he rushed towards her quickly closing the gap. His knee slammed into her gut as he lunged at her. His elbow slammed into the back of her head as if to pass through it with full force.
If she’d passed out, she would be spared the savage beating that would follow. His elbow hurt as it connected with a solid blow to the back of her head as if the world heard the thwack. The time for words clearly had passed for now.
Ralkmere looked away to make sure that they was still alone as something caught his eye. It was Sin, as he just barely caught her almost staring at them. She appeared to be a deer in headlights as she was frozen in her tracks.
Lanfen (played by GamerWoona)

Lanfen had seen him jump at her - weaponless. Although she had prepared herself, the pain that shot through her as his knee connected still took her breath and the following ellbow made her world turn black as she slumped against him. However Ralkmere seemed to have been too gentle as she had not passed out, she was merely numbed to the point that all she could do was hear, unable to understand what she did yet alone react to it.
So all an other person would be able to see was her cringed body relaxing, then slowly gliding off the knee and falling onto the ground.
it was cold..

She slowly made her way closer to them, as she was quite, even though she knew Ralkmere saw her. She walked up without a question or reaction to the lady as she saw the dagger and bit more blood drip from his arm. She looked to him for answers to what she had witness.

"Go and get the cage open, We have a guest tonight" he said, as he reached down and picked up the dagger from the women's hands." here take both of these and store them for safe keeping". He didn't wait for akiko to pick it up as he tossed it near the other. He tore off his sleeve as he ripped it into strips. He carefully tied her arms together, he then reached down at side and lift her around her gut. He'd carried her through the camp as he headed to the largest cages they had in camp which was large enough to house a person, although meant for animals.
Lanfen (played by GamerWoona)

It would be a while until Lanfen was able to move again. Her mind had cleared halfway through the camp but she had kept her eyes closed. Only as Ralkmere stopped she dared to open them.
She blinked right at the ground.. and sighed. So he had not intended to killl her in a gentle manner after all. figures. Who in the world lets an assassin have a painless death..
She raised her voice
"Hey . What are you going to do?"
-No response-
"You might want to check out on an officer called Chén. If you still need him, that is."
There was no point in hiding it. He would be found anyway. So if she spilled it.. maybe he would, in fact, kill her quickly..

He tossed her in as the cage was shut, the two heavy locks was placed on it. Ralkmere knelt down as he took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. He had jested so that one of the men would go and do a quick check for Chén. He looked at her, as he could see her face riddle with questions and fear. He could punish her, until she confessed everything she knew and then kill her, But that would be to easy.
He looked to a guard that he had standing by." go and get us some tea, I'm sure she is trusty, or at lest would like some water to clean her face some" the guard looked to him and then walked off.

"I take it by your advice on checking on him that he is now dead, That is unfortunate"
The guard did not take long in bring back some water."sir, the tea will be a few more minutes.

Ralkmere took the water jug and set it neat the cage as it was small enough to pass through with ease.

"If you was the stray dog that you are wanting me to believe then your death would have came sooner without question. I do not wish to kill you, but I do not believe I can let you go without knowing who sent you. How you play this out will determine what I will do. I am an honorable and honest man, If your honest and up most with what I ask, then you will find I can be very understanding and accommodating, But If you lie and try to run away, then I will be forced to take actions"
Lanfen (played by GamerWoona)

Lanfen exhaled loudly as she collided into the wooden boards but she never let the commander leave her sight. Whether it was determination or fear, she did not know - what she did know was that she understood nothing...why was she still alive?
She shifted into a more comfortable position, leaning against the hard wood. It calmed her down, gave her strength.
As Ralkmere adressed her again, she could not help but grin for a second.
'He probably would rather want to be dead than to be found how I left him.. ' she sighed - what was the point? Her family would be dead by the morning..
She did not touch the water, finding that there was no need to look somewhat pleasing to the man who would kill her.. if not now, maybe later but her death was certain.
After he had told her his terms, she replied miserably.
' I'll tell you who sent me. Or at least who I believe it was.'
A bleak smile

He could see with her faint smile, that his words did not fall on deaf ears. He looked her as he started to build up a profile for her as it allowed him to better predict her next actions. She was like lost child whom fell into the life of an assassinations, self thought and cocky from the few life's she hand managed to clam, wither by dumb luck or by intentions. He saw how she leaned ageist the back of the cage, as to him it did not matter to him if it gave her false courage or inner strength. He listened to her as she spoke and wondered why she paused. He briefly thought she might be trying figure if she had the upper hand, which wasn't much of a hand.
Lanfen (played by GamerWoona)

"You are not going to ask me what you want to know?..." she was slightly confused. "Anyway - I heard you are the ones that were sent to deal with the local bandit uprising. Is that true?"
Lanfen made a short pause, in which she waited for a reaction from Ralkmere which he did not provide, so she continued after collecting her thoughts, wondering how much he already knew.
"Well.. you see the bandit problem is not the original problem this city is facing. About ten years ago the old governor died and his son took over the position. However he was still young and easily swayed as a certain man offered him a way to greater fortune and influence. Decieved by the sweet words the young chancellor helped the man and even appointed him vice-governor. Then two years later the son suddenly struck ill like his father, becoming bedridden, living in a nearly vegetative state as time passed by. 'The governor is on his way to better health. Please provide him with guidance through your prayers and offerings to the gods.' -
That is the last we citizens have heard in years... needless to say where all the money for his wellbeing went"
Lanfen chuckled out of frustration.

"Well to sum it up - the bandits are nothing new in this area. They have been around for more than five years - in form of a big ring, dealing with drugs, extortion and trafficking directly under the guards noses - who are not allowed to step in, silenced with the wellbeings of their respective families.
I cannot tell you why they suddenly became violent a few months ago. It seems really stupid if you ask me. They had such a good system going. Something bigger must be happening..."

Lanfen ended her explanation when an idea hit her. Maybe that could work..

"For more information, you would probably have to catch a few leaders. Though I do not know of many - I can safely assume that they will come for me and my parents once they heard of my fate. Not alone of course. Maybe ten men. Depends on their mood, I guess. But they work quickly, so they will come to our shack in the morning.. or a bit later."

(Something bad about what I wrote? ,w;)
