It Was a nice and chilly day out today and Rusalka took in a deep breath, letting the cold air fill her lungs and she smiled.
"I hope they have that new special today," she thought to herself as she rolled down the streets to the local market in her little wheelchair, the children around her block were nice enough to decorate it for her for the fall season and she appreciated it delightfully.
She strolled and strolled untill she finally made it to the small market. The shelves were full of tasty treats and foods of all sorts, but she found herself with one problem, the things she needed were too high for her to reach... And there was no way she could stand up. She looked around to see if anyone would be happy enough to help, but they all passed her by as if she had never existed. She sighed as she tried the best she could to reach for the shelf, but no luck...
"Oh..." She said in slight frustration, "is there someone that can help me please?" She called out, though she didn't expect much, given that her voice was too gentle and awkward.
She tried once more, but she felt herself lose her balance and she panicked, accidentally bumping into the shelf as she fell, making most of the stuff from the shelf fall into her. The people who passed by laughed and stared, not really wanting to help, so she lay there, watching her chair roll away in hopes that someone will catch it... And hopefully help her out of this mess.

"I am not a fan of the cold, but hey. Never hurts, right?" Tadashi asked himself. He had a day off from duty. Matsu, his friend an partner seemed to be doing his own thing as well. It was indeed a chilly day. The first snow would be arriving very soon. deciding to stop at this market, the male seemed that it would be good to pick up afew things. Mainly for his two children, Akira and Kaori. Only wearing a bomber jacket and a scarf around his neck, Tadashi gave a rather happy smile.
"Akira and his sister are gonna be happy once I get home. A promise is a promise. Plus, I want to get them a surprise."
However, as he kept browsing, while holding a few objects in a cloth bag, he could hear someone calling for help.
"Eh?"
He was a man that would devote his kindness for others. Even after the death of his wife, Tadashi did devote his time raising his two children. Even if he came home at the late hours of night after being on duty.
"Who is calling for help?" He asked himself. However, he saw something.Something coming towards him. A wheel chair? Not good. It must belong to someone. Using his foot, he stopped it from rolling away and possibly getting broken and damnaged from any impact. Or worse, someone getting hurt.
"Now... what... is going on here?"
Pushing the chair back to the marketplace, Tadashi came across someone who have fallen on the ground, along with some objects scattered about. Putting the wheelchair in place, he knelt down to the young lady and offered his hand to her.
"Need some help?" He asked in a rather kind tone. "I see you have taken a nasty spill. C'mon. Let me help you up."

Rusalka looked up at the man and smiled kindly.
"Thank you," she replied "but could you bring the chair closer to me? My legs, they are... Well, they are not good, and I can't stand up by myself"
She took his hand anyway and pointed to the wheelchair as she prepped herself to get onto it, making sure her little secret was not revealed. She also took a few items and put them into her tote bag, now that they were within reach.

He gave a small nod and smiled over at her.
"Sure thing." He said in a kind tone. His words were very gentle. After all. He was a proud father. Pushing it towards Rusalka, Tadashi picked up the rest of the scattered items and set them back in their place.
"Don't worry." Tadashi would say. "I am here to help anyone. That's my job. So. Are you out and about? Shopping and such?"

"Yes I am!" She replied happily, "I was going to cook something for myself and the nice children in the neighborhood that decorated my chair, but the ingredients I need are too high for me"
She pushed herself up and sat down on the chair, placing her tote bag on her lapso that it fell to cover her fin, then it dawned on her, "maybe this man could help me with my items?" she thought.
"I'm sorry to bother you, but could you help me? I-it is okay if you do not want to, I will still thank you anyway"

"I'm always here to help. It's my job." Tadashi addressed in a calming tone. "I have plently of time to lend ah and or two."
He placed one hand in the pocket of his coat as he gathered the rest of her items. Looking over at her, Tadashi agreed he'd be able to help her out.
"Tell me whatcha need and I will get 'em for you. By the way. My name is Captain Tadashi Tadokoro. Just call me Tadashi."

She nodded and thanked him greatfuly, she thought she would never encounter such a friendly being ever with the exception of the children of course... But the day finally came, and she smiled warmly.
"Thank you so much, Tadashi. My name is Rusalka, Rusalka Caindence, I am very glad to have met you!" she replied politely and reached into her tote bag to pull out a list of ingredients. And other groceries, "I think all I need to get now is some sugar, cute little molds and a few trays, I can get the other groceries, those are easy to reach."

"My pleasure to meet you!" Tadashi said. He gave a nod. He seemed to have taken a liking to this person. He stayed next ot her as he let out a happy sigh.
"I'm a father of two. Looks like you are goingtobake something, right? So,what do you do?"
"I'm a father of two. Looks like you are goingtobake something, right? So,what do you do?"
"Well I don't really do much, but I take care of the children that the parents leave so that they can go and do what they please, so I take care of them while their parents come back to take them back, I do not get paid for it though, but that is okay, I don't mind, the children are very kind, such as yourself." Rusalka explained cheerfully, "so I was planning on making them some sugar cookies, they really like sweets, would you like some too?"
This person seemed to have a very good heart in them. That did make Tadashi smile.
"My two kids... Akira recently turned seven. Kaori is three. Both are the greatest joys in my life. Sadly, my wife passed on when Kaori was born."
Hoever, he did keep a smile on his face. Stuff does happen, but it was never good to dwell on the past. However, when she asked him about sweets and cookies, that was one of Tasashi's weaknesses.
"I would love to. I would not mind helping out. If that is okay with you."

"Oh! That would be a pleasure!" She replied excitedly, "I have never had guests before, you can bring your children too if you'd like, so that they will not be alone."
The thought of having guests over filled Rusalka's little heart with joy and warmth, but also a little nervousness. But she hoped for the best, she was sure that they would love her home, even if it wasn't very much to look at.

"I could bring them over. I have no plans for the week." Tadashi stated. "Akira is kind of the shy one. Kaori is pretty out going and chatty for her age."
He laughed softly as he gave her a warm smile.
"Would you like me to bring you anything when I bring 'em over?"

Rusalka shook her head politely as she looked at her list of groceries, still hung up on the fact that she was to have company over.
"I-it's okay, I will have everything prepared for us, that way you don't have to cary carry so many things." She insisted shyly, "plus, it is already such a pleasure to have my very first guests over, so I don't want to burden you, I want to thank you, and treat you and your family to some nice treats"

"You will be fine!"
Tadashi did let out a laugh. A rather happy, yet hearty one. He placed a hand on her shoulder and shook his head.
"You're fine. I do wanna know. What would be a good time? The kids are home and well. I could pick them up and bring 'em here if that is fine."

"That is perfectly fine," she replied politely with a light laugh, "whenever it is convenient for you to come over, I will me more than happy to open my doors for you and your children!"
Her smile was warm and peaceful as she grabbed the last of her things from her list and headed over to the cashier,
"Thank you again!" She repeated, "your kindness will not go unnoticed and you will be rewarded some day with something even better, I just know it~"

"I could go get 'em now if you want me to." He said. "Would you like to come with me? We could go together." Tadashi addressed. He gave a rather warm smile to her.
"Here. Lemme help you carry these. Y'know. More helping hands makes things easier!"

"Okay!" She replied happily and thanked him as she handed him a few of the bags, "you are such a helpful person, I would be very much honored to go with you so we can all go together to my home!"
She grabbed the rest of her bags and placed them all neatly into her tote bag, the pressure of the bag was beginning to weigh down on her 'feet', but she pushed that uncomfortable thought to the back of her mind and continued to roll out of the market humming lively to a sweet little tune she had heard the children in her neighborhood sing.

He gave a rather kindly nod as he placed his hands in his pants pockets. It was rather chilly, but hey, at least Tadashi was bundled up for the weather. He seemed to smile at the laughter of the children. It made him smile.
"Here, let's head to my place. It isn't too far from here."
Picking up the heavier bags for her, he gave her a warm smile. "I see this was kinda weighin' you down. SO, I am here to help you"

"Yes, thank you," she replied shyly, she followed closely by and waved at all of the children who passed by. She smiled warmly at them as they waved back and smiled at her. It always made her feel so warm on the inside to see that there are still people out there who are so hospitable and kind, it made her forget about the cold and the negativity that others would show to her.
He gave a nod as he helped carry her goods. Tadashi after all was a good help. Even to others. It was the Captain of the Riot Police's duty after all. Turning his sites on Rusalka he gave a rather calm nod.
"Wanna come visit my place? We aren't too far from here. Akira and Kaori would be happy to see you and have a guest."
