Jack, "Most likely."

''I just want to find her before someon finds her and tries to hurt her.'

Mist, "Could it hurt? You looked like you were wandering aimlessly anyways?"

''I was just following a route I had planned out myself. I have no idea how to traverse thse lands. I only know how to navigate my homeland.''

Jack went to his table and pulled out a string and a button. He laced the string around the button and handed it to you. "Hold it up with one of your paws and wait for it to be still. Then ask it how it will answer you yes, and how it will answer you no."

''So its that simple?'' As he took it.

Jack nodded, "Yes. It's considered a minor magic, so mortals can do it without being considered using witchcraft."

''So witchcraft is still a big deal? My mom was magical..But after capture she grew more violent with using her claw and voicethan her other abilties.'''

Jack, "Witchcraft is a huge deal here. Only people like myself who are sealed by the Order are allowed to use strong magic. All others are burned."

''Is natural abilties, like fire, considered magic?''

Jack nodded, "Yes. One of my apprentices has the natural abilities of a blood mage. But in order to use his power, he must be seal. Else, he is never to use it, or else be considered a warlock."

Dark gulps. ''Well, I attacjed the soldiers that were attacking me with my dark fire...''

Mist shook her head, "You're a demon, not a mortal. It's expected that you would have powers. Only the mortals can be accused of being witches and warlocks. Demons are expected to use powers without the consideration of the Order."

''I often try my best to not use my fire. I'm still young, so it kind burns me to use it. I just know that people whispewred about my mom using a weird blue energy when she had tons of soldiers around her.'

Jack, "It could have been anything. But it doesn't matter anymore."

When the stew was finished, he made a bowl for you and himself. Mist had already eaten.

''What kind of stew did you cook?''

Jack, "Vegetables with some dry meat."

''Sounds delicious.''

Jack nodded, giving him his bowl.
