Monsters hide from humans. (Imagine that one anime with a monster school)
Monsters that do not look like humans use glamour.
There are 5 levels of monster. 0 is human, while 5 is deity-level and above. A more expanded list with examples will be below.
Those that practice magic are allowed in, and are given special classes along with normal classes.
Sex and violence are not allowed inside the school zone. This is heavily enforced.
Classes for magicians include both Arcane and Divine magic classes.
Classes for everyone include using glamour, controlling abilities (such as for werewolves), other monsters and their history, hunting rogue monsters, and developing powers as you grow older.
This academy is not a school for basic academics. You are expected to have already learned at least High School English, Mathematics, and Science.
The Monster Levels:
0
Humans, werewolves in human form, etc.
1
Mutants, Elves, Fey, Gnomes, etc. These monsters are more common than 3+, but level 2 monsters are a bit more common.

Ogres, Minotaurs, Minor Shapeshifters, Werewolves, etc. Most monsters fall into level 2.
3
Giants, Dragons, Arachnids, Vampires, Naga, etc. These monsters are more rare, and usually form close relationships, or none.
4
Elementals, Major Shapeshifters, Wendigo, Yeti, etc. These monsters are very rare, and are almost always solitary.
5
Deities, Cosmic Entities, Reality-Warping Magicians. These monsters are the most powerful and rare, with only one or two per state.

Original characters designed for this setting, or OCs that can fit in it are the only characters allowed.
Monsters of level 3 and below, plus humans, are allowed. You can PM me if you aren't sure where your character would sit on the scale (Or if you want a secret human or something similar)!
Classes will be run either by myself or by anyone who would like to play a teacher. The full list of classes is above, so feel free to ask if you can teach one!
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
