Looking for an rp with these guys. In open to ideas but the main one I have is that they're part of a tribe or primitive people. All who are emphatic shape shifters. People believe it is a tribe of cannibals living in these woods as people wander in and never come out. So it would be ideal where your character some how ends up going in. Be it that they don't believe the stories or their friends dares them. Something. And they end up surrounded by these beings. And we go from there.
Time period is irrelevant. The more modern of futuristic the better but does not matter.there will be communication barriers are first.
No Gender preference, will deal with a couple darker themes but nothing horrific. Please PM if you have any questions

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Modern
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
