Oop: Dude, the Laser Spears actually gave me an idea Would you be cool if I used that idea?

"Huh. Weird. The Parrot's Parrots are normally in robot suits."Jackie said, before grabbing her Blaster off her back. "OKAMI! FIRE A BARRAGE!"Jackie suddenly blurted out. The hands on the Robot suit shifted into cannons, and Okami fired a large number of Plasma bolts in random directions. The Birds scattered and through their laser spears as the Bolts hit, taking out a few, but not really putting a dent in the flock of birds, who were still pelting Laser spears down at the three. Jackie let out a yelp as one of the Spears grazed her arm. "CRAP!"Jackie whined, sliding to the ground and keeping behind Okami. Thankfully, laser weapons had a tendency to cauterize the wounds they caused. Regardless they still hurt like hell, and Jackie's shielding provided no protection from lasers.

"Jackie! Are you alright?" Turbine asked. Suddenly, one of the spears hit Turbine right in the back. The spear didn't fly nearly fast enough or hard enough to do any significant damage to Turbine's suit though. "Alright, let's try these ol' things out."

Turbine then cranked his right arm and tail around his body, both of which held two of his boom-blades, and flung his boom blades the best he could at the birds. He was able to take out a good chunk of the birds closest to them, but the farther away birds would take a more directed aim. "Hah, they actually work," Turbine said as the blades were coming back. ...But the blades, as they came to Turbine's hand and tail, knicked em right up. The hand on his suit even came off. "...Right, they work, but they might need some minor adjustments."

"Ok... what heavy weapons are there?"Okami asked herself as she flipped through the diagnostics of the armor. "Ooooooh... Lots of plasma cannons...."She said activating the cannons. The armor's hand shifted int ocannons as bfore, before a set of four cannons lifted out of and around the fore arms of the arm. The shoulder plates raised slightly revealing several Plasma Cannons. The chest opened revealing more, and a set of plasma cannons popped out of the sides of the armor's calves. Okami fired the cannons, launching plasma bolts everywhere. As before, many of the birds had scattered though plenty had been taken out by the barrage of Plasma Bolts.

"Damnit, there's a lot of them," Turbine blurted out. "Do you think we can take them all?"

"Oh, yeah. Easy. Thy're htrowing Laser Spears at us. Low grade laser spears at that."Okami said. "Problem is there's just so many."She said, firing several plasma bolts into the flock.

"My boom-blades can't reach the farther ones as efficiently. Should I try moving around?" Latch asked.

"If you think it'll help"Okami said, firing more plasma bolts into the flock of birds. "Seriously, how many of these thigns are there?!"Jackie asked, still sitting behind Okami and trying to keep from getting hit by the laser spears. Aside from the first one, she'd already been hit by a few more, having a few slashes on her arms, legs, and tail.

"...or maybe it would be a better idea of I got us out of here," Turbine said. "My suit has flight capabilities. I'm assuming Okami's does too?"

"Just grab your stuff, it's right there. Once you got your stuff I'll get the Rusty Zorg back down here."Okami said. "Oh man...."Jackie whimpered. "G-Guys, I think these birds were just a distraction...."Jackie said. Through the flocking birds a massive ship, clearly a capital ship, was coming into view. The ship was shaped like a 60's space styled spaceship, having plenty of fins and ridges that didn't seem to have much purpose aside from making the ship look intimidating. "Oh great...."Okami grumbled.

"Damnit! We have to amscray!" Turbine said as he grabbed his stuff. "Are you sure "Rusty Whatever" can reach us here?"

"It probably can reach us."Okami said, as the birds scattered heading towards the ship. "Will, can you bring the Rusty Zorg down?"Jackie asked over the communicator. "Yeah don't see why no-ooooh....." Will replied. "With Parrot
s Capital ship there, I don't think I'll be able to get anywhere near you guys without being shot down."Will added.

"Great, time to strategize plan B," Turbine said. "Why don't you guys follow me, I'll try to plow through these guys with my boom blades and remaining limbs. My suit is a bigger target than I am, so it might be hard for them to do any real damage to me with my suit in the way."

"Dude, forget about the birds! Parrot's Capital Ship is RIGHT THERE!"Jackie yelped, obviously panicked. "We gotta get out of here!"Jackie said.

"Hello? That was the general idea here," Turbine said. "I was going to bulldoze through the birds to get away."

"Dude, forget the birds! They're going back to the ship!"Jackie said. "Ok, forget this." Okami said. She grabbed Jackie and Turbine before charging off in the opposite direction of the ship. "We'll figure out what we're gonna do as we go!"Okami said.

"What are you doing!?" Turbine shouted. "This is reckless! We can not just rush off without a plan! They'll catch us for sure! Plus, I still need my stuff."

"Well, it's better than sitting here listening to you two argue about what to do!"Okami responded. "Where are we going?"Jackie asked. "Away from the ship."Okami said. "And we can go back and grab your stuff later."Okami said.

"At least let go of me so I can run faster!" Turbine shouted. "You think having your grubby hands all over me is going to make me go faster?"

Before Turbine could finish his sentence, Okami released him, letting him run on his own. "Head into the mines. The Parrot's drop ships can't go in there, and his mech troopers are scrap against Carmine's armor."Okami added.

"But what if it's a dead end in there?" Turbine asked. "They might be able to trap us. Also, I'm not sure how good my armor is in comparison."

OOC: Is it alright if there's a lighthearted side-story arc about Turbine getting his stuff back? It shouldn't be a problem, since I plan on keeping Turbine's stuff located in areas the characters already plan on going anyway, like I plan on having the Parrot's henchmen steal Turbine's stuff and Turbine gets it back later in the RP.
