"Well, I'm talking cause there's no water in here."Jackie said. "For you, I guess it's the re-breather."Okami said.

OOC: Fast forward to outside?

Oop: Sure

Eventually, they made it through the river in the cave, and came out to a dry valley with sparse greenery. But in the distance, they saw the camp that was mentioned earlier. Turbine took his re-breather off to speak. "Well, there's the camp," Turbine said. "You said you were equipped with a radio, but if you want we could visit them anyway. ...Just be warned that Manticorats are... well... usually pretty hostile, so you'd have to let me do the talking."

Okami opened up, letting Jackie out, before closing again. "They're hostile with me, I'll be hostile back."Okami said. "Yeah we should probably go by."See if I could get any medical treatment."Jackie said, rubbing where she was hit.

Turbine took the others to the outpost. It was rather quaint, but seemed busy enough. As Turbine got closer, though, there was a lot of creatures staring at him.
"Another one!?" a large Manticorat asked, confronting the group. "Look, our outpost can't take anymore, especially aliens!"
"Jackie needs medical treatment!" Turbine shouted.
"And I'm sure you'd like to purchase a house while you're at it!" the Manticorat shouted.
"Wait... there's more Manticorats other than myself who have lost their home?" Turbine asked.
"Ha! I knew it!" the large Manticorat shouted. "Look! We don't have any more supplies for tents, so scram!"
"Fine, but we still need medical help!" Turbine shouted.
"Hmph! And why should we help an alien?" the Manticorat asked.

"Cause these aliens are mercenaries with a rogue Ai that's more than willing to break those stupid ai laws."Okami said, cracking her knuckles.

"That doesn't convince me," the Manticorat said. "What's in it for us?"

"Rogue Ai in tank armor don't go crazy on your town."Okami said, putting her hands on her hips. "The guys who kicked you guys out of your homes are on the planet. "We're trying to stop them."Jackie said.

"And yet you couldn't say it without making a threat," the Manticorat said, brandishing a large sword.
"Bad idea, dude," Turbine said. "We're made of metal, that sword's not going to do much."

"Hey, that was her idea. Not mine."Jackie said. "Can you just let us in? If you do, she'll wait out here."Jackie offered.

"I said no!" the Manticorat demanded.
"Then I guess we won't help you if the other aliens come to snuff you out," Turbine said. "Or we could just kill you here."
"Not if we kill you first," the Manticorat said.
"There must be SOMETHING we can do to get help," Turbine said. "Anything, we'll do it, just help us."

OOC: What do you think we should do?

Oop: Well, I know Okami would make mention of the Parrot's capital ship being on the planet and say they should just leave and let the Parrot deal with the colony/village.

OOC: Didn't they do that already? What if they tried to exploit a soft spot by stressing out the injuries?

"...They won't help us," Turbine said. "I guess we ARGH!!!"
"What the..." The Manticorat said.
"ARGH! The pain! It hurts!" Turbine looked at Jackie and winked, hoping she'd play along.

Jackie blinked confused, before catching on. "Dude seriously, we've got open laser wounds! If we don't get medical treatment they'll get infected!"Jackie said.

Two more Manticorats joined the first one as they looked at the group. They were discussing to themselves, trying to figure out what to do. Eventually, the main rat made a decision.

"Fine," he said. "We'll help you heal up, but afterwards you're gone-zo, alright?"

"Thank you."Okami said as they walked into the camp. The camp was made up of plenty of tents and shanty-town style buildings. Tons of Manticorats meandered about doing their daily business, though there was a very significant aura of chaos as they got to the medical areas of the camp.

"Huh, there are only a few Manticorats here" Turbine said. "The Parrot must not have gotten to many yet."
"Take a lie down wherever," the Manticorat suggested.
