"The only way that I can communicate with you in this form is by telepathy."The fox said in all the beings' minds, her tails shifted behind her.
Well, at least he had an option--to leave; pity he wasn't going to give it another thought. Not with the voice inside his head--that was new. Well, new-er. He took a step back, looking nervously at the silver fox. It was his first encounter with telepathy, but he'd faced stranger things in the past. His grip on the revolver tightened as his grip on reality slipped.
"What, exactly, is going on here?" He looked between Chris and Sara and Loviatar. "I'm warning you now, if you try to hurt the fox, I'm not going to stand idly by."

Sara groaned, taking her hand away from the fox and using it to hold her face up instead. This wasn't getting us anywhere. Voices were sounding from a little ways away,
"Hey, whats that over there?!"
"I think this is where that light came from."
"Lets go check it out!"
Three different voices, at least. She twitched her wings nervously, and glanced at the group around her. "Look, there isn't enough wind to glide or else I'd have scaled a tree and ditched all of you by now." She gave Cody a pointed look. "And would you put that thing away before I take your toy away? Do you honestly think if we were going to hurt the darn thing it would still be alive? Look at us"
"Hey, are those statues moving?!"
The voices were getting closer. Sara started moving in the opposite direction of them. The park was large, and this city was famous for it's parks being attached to a wildlife preserve. It was a small one, but a place Sara had used multiple times to avoid humans. "I'm going this way, I don't care what all of you do."
(This city does not actually exist, and I'm terrible with mapping places out. Feel free to add to parts of it, or adjust information about the wild life preserve, ect. )

Chris thought for a second and looekd at the human "YOU! Go and hold those people off, I don't care how just do it." He turned back to sara. "Please just stay and help, were gonna need it," He looked at the last Gargoyle, "No eating help me move this fox...thing?" He turned his gaze to the fox. "Were not gonna to hurt you, just get you away alright?"
Lovi only regarded the situation with a growing displeasure. The hero coming to the rescue of some... glowing fox creature, the gargoyle who'd rather run and hide and the hero gargoyle who wanted everyone to be nice and helpful and handing out commands. That last thing was actually pretty damn annoying. "And why should I follow your orders? Who appointed you leader?" Her voice was low and she began to erect herself from her crouching position, casting a threatening glance at the fox. "AND DON'T SPEAK FOR ME!" She suddenly bellowed at Christopher when he announced 'they' were not going to hurt the fox.
This enraged her. Whether the human was going to attack her or others were drawing closer, it just didn't matter to her. It was an inconvenience at most with her size and build. Two hundred years ago I would have vaporized these morons with the blink of an eye and made sure the human never saw daylight again, she thought, snarling and taking on a threatening posture towards Chris. "I'll eat it if I want to and you can't do anything about it." Not that she planned to. It didn't look particularly tasty. That old half a hamburger had probably tasted better.

"NO you won't! You will either help or get out. I never said I was your leader!" He started to walk over to the fox. "Please fox, can you walk?"
Her eyes nearly glowed with rage when the male retorted. "YET YOU COMMAND US AS IF YOU ARE!! You have done NOTHING to warrant our compliance, you nimble minded fool!! I'LL DO AS I PLEASE." As Chris approached the fox, Lovi jumped forward and attempted to strike him with a fist. It was a swift movement coming from his side and she kept her wings tucked to her back to increase her speed. It probably was a bad idea to pick a fight with the male at the approach of humans, but she didn't find a threat in any of those present. Perhaps wrongfully so, but that didn't even cross her mind.
(Diceroll: 1d20. 1-5=miss, 6-10=evading majority of the blow, 11-15=good punch and 16-20=knockdown (not unconscious, just down)

rolled 1d20 and got 14
Things were heating up between the gargoyles. Good thing Cody had experience with standoffs. He scooped the fox up in his arms to get them both out of the way of the ensuing fight.
"I don't care what you do with the fox, but if you're taking it somewhere, I'm going too!" He yelled between the two fighting gargoyles. Those voices drawing near could just as well spell trouble for him, never mind the gargoyles debating about whether to eat the creature he was trying to save. "Besides that, you're the ones drawing attention, not me."
Either way they would have to hurry. If he had brought his motorcycle over, he would have been prepared to ride away, or follow the Gargoyles. As it stood now, he still held the lynchpin. Smart or dumb, he wouldn't know until it worked--or he died on the spot. "If you don't--I'll tell them about you."

Chris stumbled a bit, almost losing his balance, then rubbed the back of his head. "Son of a-" he said growling. He turned to Chris with a mean look in his eyes "Just go!" He turned to Sara, "Go with him if he needs help then do what you can. Including taking it from him if you must." He turned around to Loviatar "As for you..." he growled at her. And pushed her with both of his hands.
(How do we roll dice? Never done it before)

Sara had stopped with Christopher's plea, annoyed as she was hearing another Gargoyle's voice had been nice. She sighed impatiently, nearly jumping in when he was punched. "Fine." If Cody wasn't following her, she would make a grab as his shirt to begin hauling him in her direction, if he was following, then she would just gesture impatiently at him.
"Most of us are hundreds of years old. Hundreds of years and yet, when we see each other the first thing most of us without a clan do is try and form dominance." She smirked a little at his comment about telling. "And yes, go ahead. You go right ahead and tell humans there are giant winged creatures wandering around in the park at night. Tell them with a glowing fox in your arms too. After they take it form you to experiment, and then put you in a mental institution, I'll show up outside of your window and see how it goes."

Chris growled when she spoke about him trying to dominate them. "I'm not trying to lead anyone!" He heard them getting closer. he turned his gaze back to Lori. "We aren't done here." He turned and started to walk towards the human. "Lets go, if she is caught then fine." He said to the other two.
The fox's ears flicked the direction of the voices. She winced as pain shot through her head.
Cody nodded and managed to avoid the swipe at him by Sara's huge claw. Still holding the silver fox in his arms, he felt the creature wince and his grip momentarily tightened. To the gargoyles he said: "Alright then, someone lead the way or I'm going to pick a direction at random." To the creature in his arms he murmured: "It's alright, I'm trying to help you."
Besides, it wasn't his fist time dealing with strange creatures that were hundreds of years old. The trick was not dying when they got into one of their displays of dominance.

Sara waved her hand again in another gesture. "This way, towards the reserve. There is a break in the fence." She gave Cody a toothy grin. "Unless, that is, you are afraid of wolves."
For the second time that night, the female gargoyle began walking towards the reserve.

Chris followed behind them. I'm not trying to be anyone's leader. I just want to get this thing out of here, away from humans and then we can return to our lives..."What are you anyways fox?" He said over towards the fox...demon, god, spirit or whatever.
The fox looked at the male who had asked what she was."I'm a silver Nine-Tailed Fox or what people call a Silver Kyuubi."
"I'm not afraid of anything I can't kill," Cody retorted as he followed behind Sara. He adjusted his grip on the wolf so that he could reach for his gun if he needed to. "I trust that your presence will probably be enough to scare off a wolf." Well, perhaps trust was too strong a word.
He glanced back at Chris and then at the fox when it replied. "Nine-tailed fox, huh? Can you do other things besides mind-speak?"

"In this form,I can heal people, caused plants to grow, blind people, and attack people if I need to.
(I'm still here, I just think we should get Loviatar to reply)
