come on in to the Shallow Tavern meet new people and have some interesting conversations or maybe an adventure.

Adrik belches loudly, "good brew we got here tender!" He finishes off the mug and wipes the froth from his beard, "best I've had in a while! Get me another!!" Slamming his hand down on the counter a silver piece lay beneath it, a gold would have been generous but Adrik was a bit of a cheapskate so a silver would do. "Who haven't I told about my pig of an ex-wife?" The dwarf looked around the tavern, "Lassie, Yoo-hoo! Want to here about Mrs. Doris Sharp the swine?"

Amelia looked at the dwarf waving her down cautious but also curious as to what he might ant with her she slowly stood and walked to the creature with her hand on a blade under her goddess green riding hood. "Why do you wish to wallow it this tavern about your ex-wife surly there must be something you would rather discuss, but if nothing comes to mind i am more than willing to lend an ear for you to rant with." Amelia gave the dwarf a shy small smile before sitting beside him with curiosity in her eyes.

Ignoring all of that his rant begins, "first off the names Adrik, and this story is a hoot, I'm sure you'll love it." In the next hour he tells her the following story: He was a bounty hunter who used to work with a Teifling named Phoenix, the two had just returned to their city after slaying a red dragon when Adrik found his home nearly destroyed, his dog was inside dead with a giant wereboar standing over the body. Adrik fought the beast destroying most the home and suffered many wounds. "see these are some of the scars of that fight!" He pulls his collar down and points then he points to his eye, "wereboar's, the worst right! Anyway after I killed the swine, the body turned back into my ex-wife... Found out a guy she was cheating on me with have her the power of the boar and she couldn't control it and killed my hound, he was a noble one... I'll always remember Travis." Finishing his second mug of Brew he raised his finger ordering another, "I've been hunting my wife's gentleman ever since."

Amelia giggled at the mans enthusiasm. "how can you make such a horrible memory seem so cheery and adventurous. if i could do that with half of my life memories then i would surly sleep soundly at night. My names... Karla by the way." Amelia felt unsettling lying to a man that just shared his own story but he said that he and his friend were bounty hunters and she didn't want to take any chances revealing her true identity.

There, at the end of the bar, sits Sif. A beauty, but a dangerous one. She currently has a hoodie covering her head, so even her eyes are barely visible and a black cloth covers her mouth. What her jobdescription was was... not something people wanted to talk about. She finished her mead and slammed her right hand into the counter. "Another, please!" She put two silver coins and the tender took them and refilled her mug. "Cheers." She could hear two voices beside her. One rather loud, but nothing she wasn't used to. She glanced towards them for a split second. Why the woman was lying was beyond her and none of her business, so she kept quiet.

"It's not a good story, but it isn't the worst..." Taking a sip from the mug he looked the girl deep in the eyes, "we caught up to the man once, about three or four months ago. Battle insued and my partner got his leg torn off, he's still alive but because of me he can't walk much less bounty hunt anymore!" Adrik would make it up to his Teifling partner, "killin Dragons easy, catching criminals is no sweat, but finding a swine in the Southern Kingdoms... That's next to impossible!"

At this point, Sif couldn't keep quiet anymore. A smile spread on her lips. She broke the silence that had lingered. "Not if you know where to look." She glanced towards them and said no more, waiting for their response. She would also only take off her hoodie, when they did. In the meantime, she grabbed her mug and drank half of the mead in it before she wiped off the froth with the back of her hand. It was quite nice. Just what she needed actually. Btw. Normally she might not even jump in on this conversation, but she has some interesting set of skills. Would be a shame not to use them.

Amelia grew concern over the women who let down her hood, could she be on of the huntresses of King Romero, if so Amelia din not want to be captured nor did she want any suspicions to grow if she left abruptly. "Sir Adrik you surly are an amazing story teller its been a long while since I've heard such a true part of a persons past i do hope you find the man you are looking for, maybe the lady in the hood knows where you could find him she seams to speak of herself of knowing such things, she might even be able to help me." Amelia's strategy was a tad wild but if she wanted any chance of getting out of here before someone discovers who she truly is it would be with these to.

Adrik began laughing, "Sir? I ain't a knight lassie, Sir Adrik, now that is rich!" Finishing his third drink he belched loudly and turned his attention to the woman whom the girl pointed out. "You know the man I speak of?" Adrik cracked his knuckles, dark hair, and most likely an eye patch, threw a dagger in his left eye a few months ago, but I still ain't got his name. Just know he is a human fella who can turn into a giant boar..." Stepping out of the spot light as the bar keep put a fourth mug infront of him he looked to the girl, "what's your story Lass?"

Amelia gave her attention to the girl at the bar curious as to what her name was and if she was an actual threat to her.

the girl didn't seem to reply, "Adrik have you've ever worked for a King Romero?" Amelia was afraid of what his answer might be

"Kings... Kings... King Urlond, King York, a man named John King, no I don't believe so but I don't remember." The dwarf scratched his beard, it's not like he was loyal to any of his employers once the bounty was payed. Even if he did know this King Romeo there was no loyalty in Adrik's heart that couldn't be bought or sold for a few gold pieces, "this Romeo some friend of yours?"

Amelia was disturbed by the question. "No not at all, King Romero will never have my loyalties or any part of me for that matter." Amelia huffed out.

"Geez girl don't get your undergarments in a bunch it was only a question," Adrik slumped in his chair, exhaling loudly and rubbing his belly he was showing he was ready to go. "Well it was good meeting you but anymore brew and I'll explode."

"wait would i be able to buy your services? i need to find A Demon Prince named Lorenzo, but i don't not wish to kill him." she waited to see the mans reply.

"I suppose a fee could be discussed... Over a drink perhaps?" Adrik's interest was peaked, but his rates weren't cheap. The price of hunting a beast was 10 gold (15 to bring it alive), a man was 30 (35 to bring him back alive), nobles were 50 gold dead or alive but demons were different. Fiends of any kind were upwards of 500 Gold as were dragons, those two were the most expensive because of they're extreme difficulty. Adrik had only fought one demon before, a Raksasha, tiger demon of the sand kingdom Black Rock... "Demons are tough ma-lady, so let's talk..."

"my friend will be no trouble in finding him lets call this more a quest then a hunt, if i am with you then no harm will come to you but none the less i can pay you what ever you wish."

"I deal in gold, not favors young one," Adrik pulled out a dagger and stabbed it into the bar counter. "Your 'protection' means nothing to me, even if you are a Mage it doesn't save you from a cross bow bolt to the forehead, or a dagger to the throat..." He placed the coins down to pay for his drinks, "one more drink bartender, courtesy of the lass!"

Amelia grabbed her purse and slammed it on the table. "I will pay you what you wish but there will be no hunt, and in case you haven't realized I can take care of my own don't be worried for my safety."
