So, what are your favourite types of characters to roleplay as? Personality wise?

The friendly one?
The Asshole?
The shy one?

So many varieties and ideas to chose from!

Ooh, I like this question! Uhm... I like playing the feisty, no-nonsense troublemakers with a hidden heart of gold.

I also have a thing for playing shy types with a dark side, and outright flirtatious and highly charged characters.

I like making mute characters for some reason. It presents new challenges and ways of communication.

I also like no-nonsense fighters. They may or may not also be mute

I like characters that are silly and quirky. I like ones that like to add spice to their speech with a silly theme or singing.

I have two clowns, a fighter, and someone who has yet to really define herself.

As far as which type I like most, I like sincerely kind characters.

I like the comical characters, who you do not suspect of being a true devil out to try and murder you.
Like Sans from Undertale's Genocide run.... Just hard to explain. lel

I also like kuudere characters a bit.
Kirigri from Danganronpa and Lucina from Fire Emblem (she's borderline kuudere okay? lel)

I prefer friendly and shy, fun all around types, but I enjoy dark personalities. I have a personal issue to asshole characters, but I understand their importance to story. In real life, though, I have encountered too many assholes.

Realistic. That's one of my things~
And I like a variety of personalities
I think I tend to like cheery fun loving characters a bit more, or I'd like to hang around them. Agito from Lost Dimensions is freaking amazing. Eyes on me~

But surely, I enjoy quite a few things
Toffi is a cheery but shy person
Sergei is the quiet, calm and calculated type
All the while Dim is the knife crazy sadist
And I love all of them

Well, I like the serious and bold characters, the elegant and classy characters. I also like the personalities that Superman and Batman have. I've never been one to like the silent but deadly types or the quirky and silly types for that matter.

dark messiahs
women with venom in their veins and forked tongues
femme fatales
broken aces
lovable goofs
tragic lovers
tricksters
incomprehensible and terrifying lovecraftian monsters

I love playful characters that start out stand offish. Characters that are wonderfully adorable only after youve earned their trust or broken them down enough to see it. But ill also play flirtacious cute characters or shy ones. But i have a weakness for cute small but expressive characters i thunk thats why i love catboys so much!

Hmm, I guess I like characters with a well developed and thought out backstory. It's hard not to like them when you know the author put in so much effort for that character.

Personal preference for first appearance however would be a villain, evil asshole, or anti hero.
