Rose stared at the small group of people in front of her. These... These were to accompany her for the rest of her years? She looked at the head of security with a questioning look, wondering whether or not they had picked these people off from the street. Well, it wouldn't surprise her, it's what they did for the... Last... One... Pushing that thought aside, she decided to look once more in the direction of the band of misfits. "So, you're my new 'Bodyguards', yes..?" Rose asked, despite already knowing the answer. Well, she was in for one hell of a ride...
Hey there! I'm looking for three to five different people, willing to protect Rose here from crazy psychopaths, 'splosions, assassination, you know, the lot. This follows "Operation: D.I.C.E", beginning after the people of Helden take back the Sectors. And because of the sudden attack, the security is the highest priority to the Government, King Nixon and the army. XINO work hard to produce enough to assist their forces, and while this is happening, the head of security at XINO, Asan, decides that it would be best to assign more private security for the President of XINO, Rose Duggens.
And so, he does what he did last time: Hire random Mercenaries.
Anyway, I don't care about race, as long as you're not a Ghost. Because Helden are fighting Quasterians, who are Ghosts. Oh, and I'mm not exactly looking for Mages or Archers. I'm looking for Melee fighters, that can protect Rose without the use of Magic. Of course, I guess I can allow a Mage, but still. I wouldn't believe Asan would hire a Mage or such, since he is trying to copy the 'last one'.
Anyway, this is apart of the 'Negative Zero, Progect: FadinglighT' series, so expect people becoming gigantic monsters for no reason, cyborgs, space pirates, ghosts that know the future, and well, war. This one doesn't focus much on the entire plot of N0P:FL, but more on the character, Rose, because damn, I really need to pull away from the action once in awhile. So, yeah. Remember, this takes place in the Cyldale Realm, Helden, 2463, after the events of "Operation: D.I.C.E". More details on Helden here. Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (faster than light)
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.

While I am putting this out with a 60 combat rating, I won't be focusing too much on combat.
