Oh, yeah, host and descendant of Zeus.)
I'm here! I am a descendant of Artemis!
Is this still open?, I'd love to be the host of Dionysus if it isn't gender specific.
Go on ahead. Only one left open is Hephaestus.
Hephaestus stand in. Decedent of Hades
(Yes! Complete! )
The Fates looked inside the Pit of Tartarus. "A great power is rising again, so filled with hatred for the gods and the humans," Clotho murmured. Atropos responded, "If they ever win, the mortals would be in danger, especially now the gods are not here yet." But Lachesis assured them. "We have already set them out to find their hosts, you do not have to worry. Let us guide them to their paths the best we can and wish for the best."
It was already summer, and Seraphine was just chilling out in her room lying on her bed, and watching a movie. She was so concentrated on the movie, because it was getting to the good part, that she barely noticed when her father called her to come down. "I'm busy, dad!" she yelled, not taking her eyes from the screen of her TV. A few minutes later, someone opened the door to her room. When she looked up, it was her dad. "You have a friend waiting downstairs, sweetie. You better go down now," he said sternly.
"Ok dad." She went down the stairs with her father. When she went in the living room, she saw Claire, one of her classmates in school. "Well, I'm gonna leave you two here," her father said and went to go to his room. "Wait, Mr. Brooke. Umm, can you please stay here? I need to talk to you both about something," she asked, her eyes darting back and forth. Weird, what does she want to say to us both? He smiled warmly, "Alright, why don't we sit while we talk?" He motioned to the couch.
Once they sat, Claire said nervously, "Uh, you know about the Greek gods and the myths, right?" I nodded, confused. "Yes, what about it?" Claire pursed her lips and said, "I'll just be blunt with you, they are real. All of them." "What? Are you joking with us? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard in my life," she exclaimed, because what the heck?! Her father remained silent, though. "I know that," he simply said. Both Seraphine and Claire looked to him in surprise. "You know about it?" Claire said at the same time Seraphine said, "What are you talking about?"
He sighed. "The Fates talked to me in my dreams a few days ago, and told me everything." Seraphine just stared at him. This couldn't be true! Her father turned to Claire, and said, "I'll explain things to her." This startled Claire and she said, "O-Ok, Mr. Brooke. I'll be going now." She stood up and started going to the front door, but looked back for a moment. "Seraphine, please believe everything your dad says." Then she left.
Her father turned to her and explained about the titans, the gods, what really happened to them, how she's a host and everything. At first, she was in disbelief, like that's why they're called myths, because they're not real. But then it's her dad, and he doesn't do these things for a joke or anything. She rubbed her face. "So I'm the host of Hestia? And I get cool powers and abilities from it?" He nodded. "And soon, Hestia'll be able to communicate with you in your dreams." She held her hands up. "Ok, that's a lot to process, if everything you're saying is true. And I trust that you're being serious about this, so I have to believe it."

"And if we look over to the right, you can clearly see how a grape vine decays overtime. The natural substance dries itself when placed out in extremely hot temperatures such as these. Years ago, wealthy people would mix the grapes up with other substances such as salt and sugar to prevent any acidic transfers when fermenting the grapes.' The guide spoke with such a blasé tone that flew through the ears of the guests in such a manner that made the entire scene of the winery appear as something smothered in years of fallacy. It was simply uninteresting.
Judith had agreed to visit the place after having continuous erratic dreams in which she was at the top of the world controlling the minds of humans with......Yup. The power of grapes. At first the dreams appeared to be story like as they included things such as greek gods, mortal hosts, fates etc. Each sounded strangely familiar. Maybe her constant study of world religions were finally beginning to impact her subconscious state of mind. Regardless, each dream always mentioned the very same specific details. There was a god known as Dionysus, the greek god of madness and she was now his mortal host. The thought not only sounded absurd and unrealistic but if it was true and she was going on the assumption that the god could see her every move, wouldn't that mean that she would be watched wherever and whenever he pleased?. That couldn't be allowed right?, there must be some incorporeal individual who prevented things like these from happening?
The thought began to sound even more absurd. She scrunched up the leaflet - throwing it on the ground and made her way out into the rural world of England. Her family were one of the blood-born nobles of Edinburgh and were comfortably rich. If they had heard the true reason for her travel down to England she'd have been declared as delusional or simply mad.
Another theme commonly explored in her dreams.

( read the last two and I hope to only be half as good with this! See you all soon...)
Twilight. It's a time suspended in time where all the worries of the day and the fears of the night are suspended. Where there is only the sound of nature; the winds howling, the waters crashing, and the rain splashing calmly. In this time all things are possible. All legends all myths and stories from Hansel & Gretel. The big bad wolf and Cinderella. All things are possible here. Even his own.
" Ezekiel... There are forces beyond us... Beyond our world. There are gods who come down ... Or in one case come up, and..."
That's when his mother broke into tears. She had a soft, almost delicate voice with a French accent that she never quite lost, but at this moment her voice as beautiful as porcelain sounds shattered. He comforted her as she told him the stories, the truth about his father. That his dad was a God. That his domain was the soil. She told him that he was born to do great things, to be a hero...
" A Herod journey always ends in tragedy..."
This line kept playing over and over like a morbid message. A warning or sentiment spoken by the fates that echoed in his mind.
His eyes were cast to the burning fire. Despite the rain, the coldness of the winter night the fire kept burning. Flickering as though it had a soul. He stared Into the red heart of flame. " A plus I get to host... I'm a host to Him, huh? Well I guess I always like fire anyway..." He sighs and walks away from the flame headed down the beach to find a shack to hole up in. No point in going home... As I walk I turn back to a sizzling sound, the fire finally going out.

Jared needed to think.
Being the host of a god.
Being the descendant of that god.
One of the gods he'd spent hours upon hours studying.
He decided the best way to think was by playing one of his videogames. Alone. He put on his headphones.
"I'm back. Sorry, my mom had... News to tell me," he said into the attached microphone. There was no answer. "He went offline... Darn..." He sat at his desk and opened up a chat window. Nothing. He was left with his thoughts...
He opened up a document.
To do:
*Read up on Zeus.
Jared's mother knocked on his door.
"Go away," he called. He'd stormed out on her when she'd tried to tell him.
He clearly remembered it...
His eyes started to water as she explained to him.
That's why his father was never around.
That's why his mother never answered questions about him.
That's why she always lied.
"Jared? Are you alright?" she asked, putting her hand on his arm to try to make him feel better. He shook her hand off.
"Leave me alone... And just go away!" he shouted, running up to his room.
Which brings us here.

"So let me get this straight." Sam turned on her heel to face her best friend, the Fey High Prince of the Underground. Pixies whizzed by the pair, practically dancing in the summer of the Underground air. He grinned cheekily at her, motioning her to go on. "I'm a descendant of Poseidon, which explains my mysterious ability to chit chat with horses and marine animals."
"Yep."
"Also explains why the ocean mysteriously spat out my drowning friend when I was panicking and trying to save her."
"Uh huh."
"I'm destined to be a host for one of the ancient Greek gods, which have been dispersed and asleep for hundreds of years, and have probabaly been slowly taking on whoever's traits for a while now."
"Your marks at school have been improving, yeah?"
Samantha flushed in embarrassment, her fists clenching at her sides. "Th-that's none of your business, Erwyn!"
The High Prince laughed, ruffling Sam's hair. "Pretty much summed it up there, Sammy." His eyes and smile grew sad. "Something's coming, and I don't think you'll be able to come back for a while once it hits. You've been practicing your hand to hand, rght?"
Sam nodded mutely, hugging Erwyn back when he tugged her into a tight hug. "I'll take you home. Stay safe."
"I will," Sam mumbled into his shoulder. "I promise."
"Yep."

Weeks had passed since Sal had been briefed on his new celestial abilities. He was the descendant and mortal host of the Greek god Poseidon. Getting used to the powers were simple, it was applying them to everyday situations that created a problem. In one of his many dreams where he encountered Poseidon in the city of Atlantis, they spoke about a situation involving the other gods creating their own mortal hosts from other humans. Sal had always been a social recluse. The idea of interacting with others always ended up badly. People just didn't understand and could never grasp his sense of dedication to nature's deadliest creatures.
Living in England made it easy for him to access the massive oceans. So far, Poseidon had passed down his personal trident for Sal to use as he commanded the creatures of the ocean.
Strangely enough, fish actually had decent conversations....Especially the clownfish.

Estelle always knew she was different from other people, because she was a descendant of Demeter. She can make plants and crops instantly grow. But lately, she has been having weird dreams. A woman filled with elegance and royalty, with blue creatures surrounding her. A few nights after the first dream, they were getting more vivid and she realized they were peacocks. It wan't until last night, that the woman, who she suspected to be Hera(even if that was impossible), attempted to speak to her.
She talked to her father about it, as it was from his ancestry. "I have been getting some signs about it actually," he admitted, "I believe they are from the Fates." She was curious about it. Why can she communicate with Hera? The next night, they were able to actually have a decent conversation. "So you mean the titans are rising again, and that I'm technically going to be substituting you by me being your host?" She nodded, "Summarizing it, yes." She slumped, and Hera scolded her for it. "Straighten your back, I didn't pick you as my host for you to be acting so..unqueen-like. You're usually stoic and regal." She just listened to her. "Sorry, it's a lot to take in, knowing I might be a goddess in the future." "That is, if we win against the titans, dear." She sighed, "I know."

Two days later, Ezekeiel was on a plane. His passport in his hand and a barf bag in the other. He hated to fly. It seems that just for him, the keys would open up and threaten to cast him back to the earth in a firey explosion. The pilot didn't even have the time take off the seat belt sign as the plane was caught in turbulence the moment it took off.
~~~~~~~~3 hours latter~~~~~~~~~~
After emptying his stomach for the 12 time in 24 hours he finnaly heads out the Airport. He hails down a taxi and slides in.
" I'd like to go to the capital Ioannina? There's a bed and breakfast?"
The cab drivers eyes light up but he turns around and begins driving. His eyes are on the road and makes no attempts to talk. He drives pretty quick zipping through traffic like a mad man.
~ h-how the hell did I speak Ancient Greek...~ he sits back and looks out at the country side as it turns into suburban city. The cabby pulls up and I get out and go for my wallet but he's already gone. I turn back to the bed and breakfast
Sal sat by the ocean observing his new domain. If the things Poseidon had told him were true and that other humans had been gifted with divine abilities then he'd eventually need to meet up with them at some point.
The location he sat at was his favourite spot in the countryside. The open fields and distant lands gave him time to think. There were no shops or supermarkets, no cinemas or huge centres.
As he laid on the large and wide grass, the idea came to him that maybe he could use his new found abilities to control the other gods. Poseidon was one of the three most powerful gods of mount Olympus. No doubt there would be hosts of Hades and Zeus who could rival his power but there'd also be lower gods...people he could use to his advantage.
What an interesting thought...
( exactly where should we meet? I know that we're all doing our own thing but I think it'll be a bit more fun to have a little... Get together or Wine mixer. Where we could potentially train as a unit or something. Ideas?)
(Mount Olympus?)
( then let's make moves to meet.)
A few days after Seraphine discovered Greek mythology was actually real, she had her first dream with a lady sitting cross-legged near a fire that was a strange light orange color. She hesitantly went to her. "Hello." The lady turned to her, and smiled warmly, and patted the spot next to her. "Come sit here, Seraphine." She did so, and didn't know what to do next. She noticed the fire felt warm, and stupidly, she put her hand dangerously close to the flames. The flames didn't hurt at all; in fact, it felt soothing. She retracted her hand, questions in her head. She'd normally do whatever, but this was a goddess.
She didn't need to do anything after all, because Hestia talked first. "I assume you know who I am already. You can ask me anything." "What is that fire?" she blurted out. "This, my dear, is the hearth. It symbolizes every person's home and hope. It can never hurt anyone. It heals, and that is your power." "To heal?" she asked confused. Hestia nodded, "Yes, you can control these flames to heal anyone with hope still in their hearts." The new information spun in her head. "So they should the will to live for me to be able to heal them. Is that it?" "Yes, you can also use them to defend yourself if you are in danger. Plus, you can cook better now," she added. "That sounds cool. Is that everything?" Seraphine asked. "You can also calm anyone from any negative emotions like anger, grief, despair, etc. This is why you'll be important, you are going to be the peacekeeper." She thought about it. "And also, always wear the necklace you so favored, it has been enchanted so that you may be able to go to Mount Olympus. You can't go there now on your own, but in the future, when we have connected enough, you'll be able to." "Woah, you mean the compass necklace? How?" she asked, shocked. Hestia didn't answer, just smiled. "Our time is running out tonight, goodbye for now Seraphine," she said, as everything went blurry.
