Just throwing this out there to see who'd be interested. I want to start a Star Wars RP group that uses dice mechanics and has a leveling system. The group will allow for all sorts of RP across the galaxy and hopefully a very fun and enchanting experience for all. If this is something that interests you please let me know! If I get enough interest I will go about revealing details of the system we will use and building the group to start RPing.

Episode ? The Plot Awakens
A thousand years has passed since the time of LUKE SKYWALKER He is now a fabled
master of the new JEDI ORDER. THE GALACTIC REPUBLIC that resides now has a standing
army after learning from the mistakes of the past. A seedling upstart Government
said to be tainted with the Dark Side of the force has quickly grown to power and
has taken worlds to add to its ever growing power.
This new political force is known as the FEDERATION OF OUTERSYSTEMS or simply just
the Federation quickly grows power. Each of its leaders are vying for power and
seek to become the absolute leader. They wish to form an Empire as strong as the
one Palpatine formed or stronger.
As the Federation grows in power it has started to move into Republic space
prompting war on the horizon. The Galactic Senate now meets to decide on what to do
against the Federation....

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (faster than light)
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Character sheets & strict mechanics, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
Sounds pretty cool. I've got a Jedi mercenary OC that I don't get to use often enough.
