" got a blade handy?" She asks still peering into the forest

"Indeed I do." He says as he pulls a knife from his thigh holster. "I have five more if you need one...They're meant for throwing but we may have to improvise." He says quickly while continuing to look for the threat.

" you know your cute for a mortal" she smirks

The wind howls some. The screeching can be heard in amall bursts. From not to far off their position, there is the struggling sound, of what seems to be another Elk. Upon inspection, they'd find the carcass, mangled, heart ripped out and pinned to a tree, with a smile carved into it. The antler were shoved into its eyes. The snow was crimson with the red liquod that drippled from the mutilation. That's when Shasta would notice a flash of red, what appears to be fur, as well as two eyes, glowering, pale as the moon. Staring back at him. Before running up a tree, into the shadow of the leaves.

" somthing is Defidentally here"

He blushes at her comment but doesn't have much time to react to it as he sees another Elk; what he sees makes his heart drop and he feels sick. He's looks away for a brief minute only to see a flash of what appears to be red fur. He freezes and stares up in the trees, the dim light making it seemingly difficult to find where the figure went. "Yep...somethings here all right..." He mutters

" and I'm guessing it's next targets are us"

There is a light giggling heard, low and rough. The sound can be heard all around them. Whatever it was... It travelled fast. Leaves shake with everywhere it goes. Right above them. Something drips down, to land on the snow. A single, shiny dot. Red staining that spot. Blood. The white blanket of cold snow absorbed it, making the spot gradually turn pink. Then a sing song can be heard "O Death, O'er here, I smell the prey, now lend your ear, take the bones and break them true. Reap their souls, for slaves anew. O-O Death...." Followed by another low dry cackling.

" upon this night oh forest rise and take your revenge on the dark one" the whole forest starts to glow as the trees erupt into flame and the plants seek out the so called hunter and plan to kill him ....the forest was Alive!

The forest erupts in flames, snow melting where it was. There is another high, shrill screech sound, and soon, smoke and fire coat the tree tops. There is silence... Until the sounds of heavy sabatons hefting to the earth is heard, a figure visible through the veil of black smoke.

(Sorry for not posting in a while)

Merrick, who had been keeping a suspicious eye on the group from a distance, recoils in shock as the trees burst into flame. His horse whinnies in panic and bucks him off it's back. He lands hard on the ground on his back, his armor nearly buckling. He yells loudly in pain and begins to pull himself up from the now soggy ground.

•she sat almost completely naked behind a few boulders, her feet digging into the snow, she could hear talking far, away, she shivered slightly, not from the cold, but from the distant presence of human, she whimpered, but held her head high, sure she was a lone female werewolf, she thought, but im a strong one, she snarled to herself and huddled up next to the rock, feeling confident•

Frost sensing another non human presence turned tword a large Boulder nearby "please come out I won't harm you ....to me all creatures are family"

•Misty jumped at the noise and, naked, stood up and peeked out from behind the rock, and slowly walked out, baring her teeth she growled lowly fixing her blazing yellow eyes at the figure before her•

"Please calm yourself I'm a Druid fairy I do not wish to harm any creature unless they hurt the forest ....and as for me burning up the trees don't worry those leaves will grow back like they always do"

•Misty's eyes softened as she tilted her head at the fairy, she then looked at her own bare body in disgust and nearly gagged, her skin was wet with a little snow and packed with dirt, suddenly her cheeks flushed pink in embarrassment and she tried not to look up, she crossed her legs and put her arms around her chest, feeling foolish and embarrassed.
